The wait a little long but that means it's freshly made. The sandwich was piled high. Fresh. Comforting. Hit the spot. Other staff also very friendly. Nice to feel both welcomed and appreciated. It was okay. I suppose no, not a true bakery in my eyes though I only saw a rack of bagels and three quarters of those were gone. The service was fine. The decor or ambiance was nonexistent. I would die for their breakfast potatoes Bagels are always spot on. Lox is LOADED with salmon and the one open faced one was 2 servings for us. But the basics are always solid too. Order taking cashier manages to balance hospitality, speed, humor / personality, and utter effectiveness. She is a total gem: every time I've been in, she's recognized over half of the people coming in by order if not by name. Really impressive when you consider their quick turnover. Orders are prepared with a quickness and if you are in before things get super busy, they seem to still have a wide variety of bagels. I especially love the Asiago and blueberry. Soooooo good in breakfast sandwiches! And they don't break the bank - even if you add a second egg (which seems pretty popular, which makes sense given the sizeable nature of their bagels). Decided to try this place out because my 'go to' for bagels in the area (Jersey Bagels) wasn't open yet. What a mistake that was! Woman at the counter helped me quickly and was hurried but polite. Ordered a Dozen but immediately saw that half of their ready stock was overcooked to just shy of being burnt! I ordered what looked like OK bagels (Everything and Cinnamon Raisin). Then I get home to find most of the Cinnamon Raisin are burnt! How do you sell burnt product and try to hide it under good ones? Ripped off. Since the stores have been sold to new owners it's gone downhill. I refuse to buy anymore over there or even at the one on 21 street and kings . The new owner has an attitude and thinks he's a big shot , we can't order for delivery unless we go through the secondary delivery company ( ie) grub hub or the other secondary delivery companies. In any case at the locations he took over I've noticed the employees have become ignorant. Sorry folks this place USED TO BE GOOD but I'm either going to JERSEY BAGELS on postal way or just buy LENDERS BAGELS FROM PUBLIX .you completely lost my business along with my large family and my employee friends at jeep and beach ford. read more

Went there after being at ER with my 5yr for getting checked out for appendicitis. I ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches, eggs and sandwich. The 3 breakfast sandwiches ordered on rolls (apparently last 3 and no more w salt/pepper) got home unloaded everything and everyone to find all 3 breakfast sandwiches covered in ketchup. Not a huge deal nobody is gonna eat them now so trash. So I call seeing if I can get my name in a book I go there once a week for replacements so I'm not total out. And not like I can actually go get replacements they were out of rolls. Was told NO. They messed up the order. They added ketchup to the order that was never requested to 3 sandwiches and knew they didn't have the means to make replacement orders. And I was out the money. So they just lost a loyal customer that will be going back to Jersey bagels. Over something they did hope it was worth it. read more

Worst experience in a decade for me at any eatery I've frequented. Read my other reviews and you'll see I always give an honest opinion. My folks are retired and live in Carolina Forest. They had a coupon at this establishment for a BOGO free breakfast. I go in one morning in May (the place is dead--a tell tale sign indeed), tell the woman at the counter I have a coupon, she mumbles something under her breath, I tell her I want a bagel sandwich and the free one to be the exact same; with MAJOR NASTY NYC attitude and accent, she tells me to read the sign taped onto the front of the counter. I read it and it says that in order to use the coupon, I have to buy 2 regular priced drinks!!!! I tell her that it doesn't say that in the coupon (the coupon simply says you buy one breakfast, you get one free---nothing at all about buying 2 drinks anywhere in the coupon) and that I expect them to simply honor what the coupon says. She rudely says no and that if I want to use the coupon, I have to buy the 2 drinks. I say no---we just keep going back and forth---I tell her that it's false advertising, she says she doesn't care, that if I want to use the coupon, I have to buy the 2 drinks. I say, if you aren't going to honor the coupon as it's written, I'll just leave and I won't buy anything (the few people in the joint hear every word of all this)...she says fine. I tell her I won't be back either and she says she doesn't care! Unreal experience. I've used coupons my whole life and I've never, ever, had a business try to add in additional purchases in order to honor a coupon. It's like going to the Home Depot to use a coupon that says if you buy a charcoal grill you get a bag of charcoal free...you go in and buy the grill and the cashier says, oh, if you want the free bag of charcoal, you also have to buy a 50 dollar grill cover. Wth? Who would be dumb enough to do that? Seriously? No question the lady working the counter is a moron; probably doesn't care that I'm even on Yelp reporting this. Whatever, I'll never be back, nor will my folks and my mother said she'll tell everyone she knows (and she knows a ton of people) to steer clear of the place. I'm from the South originally and have always loved Southern hospitality; this establishment employs rude and obnoxious people that deserve to go out of business, not to mention completely dishonest. If you read other reviews of this craphole, you'll see that they've treated other customers exactly the same. No problem; no shortage of bagel joints with transplanted New Yorkers/New Jerseyites that know how to make a good bagel. In fact, there's a competitor just up the road on Postal Way called Jersey Bagels right there in Carolina Forest. I'll gladly give them my money as they are honest and have manners. I'm from out of town. My friend brought me here and only had great things to say about this place. It's a quaint place. Allows the customers to decorate the walls with chalk. Great to keep kids preoccupied while they prepare the food. Service was pretty good. It's not a dine in restaurant but they do bring out your food for you. You can custom make your coffee to your liking at the little coffee bar they have, which I appreciate. I got a cinnamon sugar bagel with walnut raisin cream cheese. It was delicious and they load up the cream cheese for you. Prices are very affordable. My bagel with flavored cream cheese was $2.45. They offers specials the whole week as well. If I came to Myrtle more often I would definately come back. read more

Went early.. 7am to get a bagel and coffee. The bagel was really good and fresh. They are baked daily at the myrtle beach location and transported here. My only complaint is the coffee. Jazz it up a bit and offer a real cup vs styrofoam for those dining in or latte/espresso options. Good coffee yields success with breakfast! Used to come for breakfast just about every Saturday. Always enjoyed the food. Service was good, but sometimes frazzled because of short staff. We can no longer support this business, however, because of the Trump for President sign at the register. Don't waste your time or money. We picked up 6 bagels today and they were all dried out/stale. We bought and printed out a coupon from Dealsaver that advertised for them just to try them out. They refused to accept the coupon cos they said it was for the other location, although we pointed out that it was for their address. They said they didn't do that and we'd have to take it to the beach location. Ok, so we bought some bagels anyway. They were terrible! THEY need to contact Dealsaver and correct the ad! But I guess they figure it's free advertisement for them. They aren't real bright. If they were, they'd use it as good customer service.
