a tray of fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and biscuits

Every restaurant had an hour and a half wait, so we were happy to find a place where we could eat without waiting. First time at a Bojangles and really enjoyed my meal. The staff was friendly, and the menu is varied. I opted for the chicken breast and wing, along with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and it came with a biscuit. The chicken had a nice spice to it, and the sides were excellent. The biscuit was the best I have ever had. They even had jelly packets which made it even better. I would really like a fork to eat....sporks are just silly. Four stars as I think it could have been lots cleaner in the dining area.

Bojangles is a fast food chain that I have only ever had in the Carolinas. Founded in the 1970's and based out of Charlotte, this was my favorite fast food place to eat at when I lived in Charlotte. Bojangles has this steak biscuit that I would crave so bad it hurt. I am glad to say with this visit, I am finally over it, but I just had to have one more sweet good bye. My parents and I were heading out of Myrtle Beach to head back to Charlotte, and this was the closest fast food place on the way out of town from our hotel. The service in the drive thru was speedy on a Sunday morning. The coffee was nice and hot. Come check them out if you are nearby. You won't regret trying the chicken. It is truly the bomb.com. Their Cajun fries have just the right amount of kick to them. My one regret is I didn't get enough pictures because we were on a time crunch to get back. Great service, good food, reasonable prices, easy access in and out and on your way. Here is a little lyric for you to dance to as a finale: I knew a man Bojangles and he'd dance for you in worn out shoes Silver hair, ragged shirt and baggy pants, that old soft shoe

Chicken meal with a biscuit (that we already started to eat).

My family and I have never been to Bojangles before, so we walked in and asked the cashier if she recommended anything and she blankly said, "No." The workers were very rude and weren't accommodating. Half of the workers were wearing their masks around their neck. They acted impatient when the kids of the family would ask questions like, "What is a thigh compared to a breast?" Their knowledge of their own product was nonexistent. Our total was about $55 and the food was below mediocre. When informing us that they were out of wings (when the order was almost complete), she spoke to the father, but when the father said he didn't get wings the employee ignorantly said "I wasn't talking to you." Overall, the service was HORRIBLE. 0/10. Would never visit again.

    Bo time!!!

KFC, who??? Popeye's, who?? Bo's is da bomb. Where else for 40 bucks can you get 20 pieces of chicken, 10 biscuits, 4 large sides and a gallon of iced tea?? At KFC your taking 80 bucks are more. The food is always on point and u have leftovers for a few days. Its Bo Time in Myrtle!!!

Food wasn't good plus rude service. The woman working the check out was the only nice one. Don't recommend.

Hi Everyone, Well,…read morewhat are you supposed to do when a hamburger chef (yea, I know, sounds like I don't get out very much), squashes your burger so flat it appears paper thin? You eat it and say, "Thank you, Sir. Can I please have another?" You will want another Burger, BBQ, wings, etc... because your tastebuds will be tingling your glad news, your stomach will be trumpeting its admiration for your selection, and that savoy aroma will be enticing and teasing all your senses, "You want another burger, don't you? You know you do. It's Ok we're at the beach, taking long walks, swimming in the ocean, getting up early to walk on the beach again, and then swim in the ocean. Go ahead, you know you want another, get it, we'll be fine." Your Stomach now chimes in with, "You know this is not going to stop until you have another of Joe's delicious smash burgers, don't you? Look, I like you, you feed me good food, keep me relatively flat, and while there is no six pack anymore, you've drank a few. Go ahead and have another burger because this won't stop until you do." And now all your senses are chanting in unison, "Burger, Burger, Burger,..." as you look up at your friendly, polite, and cute Server (ouch, that hurts honey. Well, she was cute, I'm only being accurate. Ouch, I told that hurts) and say "Yes, I'd like another Burger, please." Our Server was humorous, smiling, excellent, efficient, and respectful. But you know I can't that other word. But she was, oh so cute (Can you please stop that it really hurts). And so it goes, at Joe's. Because all their food has a very appealing, down home taste that makes you want more. How I know? Because our party ate everything on the menu, and everybody was raving about how much they enjoyed their meals. Yes, that is plural because some, had two meals. While driving up to Joe's, parking your golf cart, and walking up the stairs of this log cabin like restaurant, it is impressive, and unique for a Burger Joint in my experience. When you walk in the cabin ambience is simple but comfortable and laid back. However, it pales in comparison to the awesome food and beer selection, if you are so inclined. You will like that you're at the beach, flip flops, swimsuits, and Cowboy hats, which is a hoot of course, but all are welcome at Joe's. So get your big wagon, hitch the horse up, gather the children, ya know, yours, mine, and ours, the relatives, even the ones you don't talk to anymore, and direct your buggy to Joe's because you will be so thrilled, satisfied, and happy you did. As you hear, "Well he maybe ignorant but he knows good food." And after your delicious meal, you may do a double take when looking at the bill. No, not because it is high, but because it's so economical. That's right, great food, good time, and remember, you're not driving it's a horse drawn wagon, or golf cart, so let the kiddies have some fun as you sit back, put your arm around your favorite Gal and just as you both start to kiss, you'll yell "No, don't hit the car, please don't hit the car, what is wrong with you?" as your ten year old driver looks back at you with her big baby blues and says "I have the wheel now Daddy, don't be back seat driver. Isn't that what you tell Mommy?" And so it goes, at Joe's. Enjoy!

The first Cook Out restaurant opened in Greensboro, NC in 1989. They opened their first non-NC store in SC in 2010, and has continued to grow till now reaching over 360 locations around the South. All their ground beef is delivered fresh to each store, adhering to their motto of "Always Fresh, Never Frozen". We visited this location, in the heart of the tourist zone in Myrtle Beach. Only their drive-thru and walk-up are open, with their dining room continuing to be closed (though they have a few picnic tables in their parking lot). They are known for their burgers and milkshakes, a formula used by practically every successful burger shack. Their combo meals are called 'trays', so we got two regular trays. First ($7.99) consisted of a Big Dbl with grilled onions and cheese (+0.55), added tomato (+0.10). The sides were white cheddar bites (tasted similar to fried cheese curds) and fries (skin-on). I upgraded the beverage from a soda to a Oreo Mint Shake (+1.50). Added a side of hush puppies for $1.99. Second ($7.99) was 3 chicken strips, cole slaw, and onion rings with peanut butter fudge upgrade (+1.50). It didn't take too long for the order to completed, bringing it back to eat in our kitchenette back at the resort. It was plenty of food, with the burger being exactly how I like it. The shakes were very thick, and easily savable for later...we ate it like ice cream. All the rest were solid, with generous portions...it's what you would expect from any cafeteria that has a good deep fryer, very good for the price. The cole slaw was just finely diced cabbage which added some needed fiber to the meal. And the hush puppy pieces were very dense, two were plenty for me...it's the ultimate cheap filler food.
