The shop is very large and would seat a number of people comfortably, but looks a little spare right now. There were some annoying people in there discussing politics very loudly, acting like they were defending their own honor or something. They took up a lot of the counter time trying to engage the young server with their political discussion (I guess trying to get him to agree) and I think a more experienced customer service person would have been better able to deflect their questions and move things along. A manager probably should have been on site to make that happen. My daughter had Muddy Boots and liked it, my husband had Maine Blueberry and loved it, and I had chocolate, which was very good. The menu is visible on the wall and as we waited, because there was a line, we were able to pick out what we wanted: a root beer float, cookies and cream milkshake, and a small cup of vanilla ice cream for our SD. The cashier whom I'm assuming is the owner/wife was extremely kind and did not even take a second glance at our SD. She took our orders and we patiently waited at a table as the other owner/husband prepared our desserts. We realized they had opened their store in memory of their deceased daughter. Our ice creams were ready and my god, when I tell you it was some of the best ice cream I've ever had, I mean it! So creamy, so flavorful. My cookies and cream milkshake was packed with bursts of cookie cream and cookie bits. It was thick but not too thick to the point where I would have to eat it with a fork. Everything was wonderful. My fiancé enjoyed his root beer float, and I did too! We shared just about everything, even taking a bite out of our SD's ice cream cup, which he inhaled. This year we stopped in Memorial Day weekend and the owner told us she didn't have the syrups yet but would the following weekend. We then stopped in 2 weekends later and spoke to another women who was very rude and said nope, they didn't have it. Fast forward to 4th of July weekend and we stopped in again (hoping maybe by chance she would have it) and that same women again very rude didn't want to give me the time of day when my kids asked if they had any. Last weekend we stopped in again and the owner assured us she would have it the following day. We waited a week and went back, the owner was not there and however the other women was and said "oh my god, no we don't have any, she never made it". She again was very rude. Needless to say, we won't be back.
