This review is for the Monday-night crew who made us the best burgers we've ever had at a Five Guys before & the best fries. We've eaten at this chain across the country & even eaten at this location before tonight. However, whoever was on the fryer & flattop tonight just really nailed it! We both got cheeseburgers: his with bacon & Cajun seasoning & mine all the way. Definitely would recommend trying the Cajun seasoning on your future burgers! Also, we were really vibing the music too. We will be back, probably on another Monday night! Update: I've been back, multiple times at varying days of the week. I came to this fast food place a few months ago, and I was incredibly disappointed. The Cashier was very rude and when it came time to pay, hovered over me when the tip screen appeared. After a botched order that was to be delivered through Door Dash the Watertown, NY location went above and beyond to make it right. The managers and employees of this store saw this through to the end to make sure that the not only did I receive my order, but it was also fresh and still hot. There isn't a huge food community here around the Fort Drum area, but my favorite burger place is definitely 5 Guys. The food is always fresh, hot, and very tasty. Your burger is always cooked to order using quality ingredients. The staff is always very friendly every time we have come in to grab some food. Even when we came right before closed, they still greeted us with a smile. With the upcoming opening of Red Robin I wonder how things will play out in the future. Great place to grab a snack or quick meal. The food was excellent and the wait time was very short! I don't like to get all fancy with my burgers, so I got the classic cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños. I must say it was fantastic, eating it with a side order of regular fries. I also loved the portion side! I wondered if I even ordered a small seeing how big the portion was. The burger size was pretty big too. Usually you go to wayback or bobby flays, the portion size isn't that big, but I must say this was pretty filling....or it couldn't been the abundance of fries, but regardless it was great! It's one of my favorite places to go when in need of a burger, I recommend you all to give it a shot if you haven't! A+! read more

Place is always filthy, tables not cleaned (you get to do that yourself - they hide the napkins at the front counter and not with all the other stuff you need), floor super slippery from grease, music always too f'in loud so don't plan to talk with the people with you, and A/C set for the cook in front of the hot stove and not the customers (they don't have loaner sweaters). But food is good, so I guess we just put up with the other bullsh*t. Best to come in the summer when you can eat outside away from the other nonsense. read more

Warning do not work here. They take advantage of the employees and put employees and the community at risk. They use old products. Relabeling a product with a new date does not keep it fresh 5 Guys!! This happens every single day. Drains getting backed up on the regular and it takes everything one has to get something repaired there. When things do get fixed they are back to the way it was within months. Employees are made to work off the clock in fear of being screamed at and written up. Making unnecessary phone calls that make no sense on you OWN time. I had to go in for a Training phone call once a week on my day off or if i happened to be working that day was told we had to clock out for it. There was a gas leak for months (when I worked there over a year ago) and Jessica the DM did absolutely nothing about it. Verbal conversations and emails at the end of night was reported. Finally we had a fryer issue I believe one of them wasn't working properly.... geee... I wonder why! That's when the gas leak had be made official now that some was finally there. We worked for months in the smell of gas. This franchise is negligent and needs to be shut down. I wouldn't recommend this job to anybody. Management plays favorites and that's how promotions happen. Or get waved in front of your face and they hire new people on to take the position. (sorry current employees I know this is happening to now![you deserve better!!!] best thing I did was leave this place a year ago. Unfortunately my gf finally just now got out of that horrible place. Finally we are over this company and on to better things for us both. Don't even waste your time eating here it is overpriced and the staff is treated like garbage. It's five guys, good burgers with great fries. Just about a year or so since I've been to this location. I swear the burger size is getting smaller or is it just my imagination. But still has the same great flavor that we love. Fries is good as always, Service was good as usual and the place was clean. The prices are higher than most fast food chains, but in the case of the french fries, you get your money's worth. For spicy-food lovers, I highly recommend Cajun fries, as they're coated with a spicy seasoning as opposed to the blander plain fries. A large fry gets you a tall cup full of fries, plus a ton of extra sitting at the bottom of the bag. The soda machines are great! I first saw these at the Coca Cola factory in Atlanta and hope they spread to other establishments! You can create hundreds of nifty concoctions (Vanilla Coke Zero? Peach Sprite? Such madness!) In the age of fast food burger joints with brand logos slapped over every inch, the direct and overbearing pressure given to employees by managers ( of which is very obvious to the customers) its nice to go somewhere where i can have just about anything i want on a burger, and that its cooked by a human being... right then and there.
