Each year for the past 5 years (I've lost track now) we have contracted Do an Event (better known as Kevin Cohee) to handle our complex tent setup on the south steps of the Capitol building. Hundreds of legislators and staffers pour in for 4 hours to experience the sights and comfort of the beauty industry environment that Do an Event creates for us each year. Each year Kevin brings a unique twist and look to the tent on the steps...always intimate, fun, and fashion forward. The name of our event is "Welcome to Our World" better known in the beauty industry as the 'WOW' event. Aside from the wonderful stylists, estheticians and nail technicians that serve our guests, the staff of Do an Event is an integral part of why WOW becomes even more WOW every year. Every detail of our event is anticipated and handled with grace and ease. Kevin makes my job easy. It's great to be a hero to our client, and in great part it's Kevin's hard work that makes us appear so. I see another reviewer said they give 110%. I'd score even higher. I had a great sleep here (I did take half a Xanax because it is well known when I'm leaving in an early am flight I won't sleep cause I'm too anxious/excited) ... but I absolutely LOVED the setup of the room and the cute decor. Shower was fun but needed a bit better pressure nowhere near a deal breaker. Parking was easy but there was construction in the parking lot. Driving to SMF took around 10 minutes at 0530 am. I would absolutely stay here again - didn't hear any neighbor noise but that COULD be because there weren't many people staying here. They have a bar on property and give you 5$ off coupon or at least when we were then in February 2026. Outdoor looked great but we showed up late so didn't utilize (unknown of open during winter). Recommended!

It definitely gave the hotel a fun, lively vibe. That said, the noise level was a big downside. The hallways are pretty thin--you can hear a lot of what's going on in other rooms just walking through, and even inside the room, outside noise carries in. The AC was also very loud and woke me up a few times throughout the night. The bed was just okay--not as comfortable as I was expecting. Overall, it's a vibrant spot, but I'd personally choose somewhere quieter next time.

The line was long but moved very quickly through security. Restrooms located on the main floor were large with many urinals/toilets for men and the women's restroom (according to my wife) had almost no wait as they designed it with many stalls. The venue holds around 2,000 concert goers. The sound system is very good as it should be from a venue designed from the ground up. The seating at the tables were reserved with 4 chairs spaced around a small table. It was nice to be able to put our drinks on a table versus holding them. At the end of the last song of the evening, Bonnie Raitt graciously allowed pictures. We will be returning in the future!

However, as someone who lives in the…read moreneighborhood, the theater has created more noise, parking issues, and trash (e.g. empty alcohol bottles from their patrons left on our lawns, as well as cigarette butts, wristbands etc). They also seemed to have stopped some of the earlier efforts to encourage non-automobile transportation (like the SABA-sponsored bike parking). I've attended a show here early on when it opened and parked my bike, but have not seen any more bike parking efforts. I wish the theater would do more to **clean up after themselves** or their guests for the neighborhood (such as a courtesy pick of the associated trash in a one block vicinity after a show). The additional trash, noise, and parking issues are a DIRECT result of the venue (not here before it existed) and Channel 24 showing some effort or courtesy for the neighborhood would be welcome. There are other reviews here about the parking issue and Reddit posts about the lack of neighborliness.

I love the Natomas area for proximity to the airport and my customers. Tons of Asian and other restaurants and shops nearby...an IN-N-OUT next door! I loved everything about this hotel, kind staff, super clean room, nice location. As a silver member I got two water bottles. Two downsides: terrible water pressure on the hot setting ... only strong on the cold water and breakfast was not included ($17.99 charge) for the typical hotel breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy. I looked at it but ultimately passed this buffet. If it was freshly made I would probably have eaten here. There is an on-site restaurant and a bar...maybe I'll try it next time.

It was rainy and cold. My date had a North Face down jacket the whole time. I was in shorts and a tee shirt as it wasn't cold outside but turned instantly. We sat at a table that was wobbling and had to shove 10 napkins under the leg to stabilize it's rocking. We were only two tables out of 15 tables available. We were seated and after about 10 minutes we were introduced to the waiter. We asked for water and a wine list. He came back with our waters and asked what we would care to order. We placed our order and requested a bottle of wine. I also requested that the overhead gas heater be turned on, he said he would check. We were watching the other table get their wine and beer and wondered where our bottle of wine was. Our order came out after about 20 minutes and we enjoyed the food. We ordered a pizza and a chicken Parm sandwich. When the order arrived , we were not given any plates so we had to use napkins to set our slices on. We were 3/4 through the meal and the water and the waiter came by to check on the meal with us, asked if we needed anything else and realized he forgot the wine. Since we were almost done we canceled the wine order. The heater was never turned on and we were cold. This was a very poor dining experience needless to say. In this day and age of expensive prices and servers expecting a minimum of 25% we left very deflated. Now, to the credit of the server he did send two glasses of wine over as an apology for the mishap. But, I must say we left with half the meal in a box because the heaters were not turned on. I can't say I'll be returning anytime soon. The attention to detail was not present from the staff.
