I would like to tell you little about myself before I write anything about the Aura Métier facilities and treatment. I'm a 40 year old male father of 3, that has been diagnosed with rare type of terminal blood cancer (multiple myeloma). I have been diagnosed with it on August of 2011 when I was 32 and not much of a hope was given to me that I will be around for long. That being said I have undergone through lots of different treatments and transplants and thank God I'm still around. In all these years I have tried lots of alternative medicines, exercise, yoga and meditation but I have never been able to clear my head and let go of certain things that are spinning in my head. Ive tried so many different types of meditation but I have never ever been able to concentrate on it. One of my major problems is sleeping, I've used every possible prescription medication, home made remedy and nothing ever worked. Through very good friend of mine I have heard about the Aura Metier facilities and have planed so many times to go but somehow I had always something else on my mind. This past Sunday I have decided no matter what, I will forget about all other stuff I have and pay them a visit. I don't how to even start with the experience I had. From the moment I got in, I was amazed with the environment and within moments I started feeling the sense of calm and relaxing atmosfere. I was then introduced to the young, beautiful, smart lady named Valerie, she has welcomed me in her little gem that is located in Staten Island that I don't think that anyone could ever imagine that such a place exist, it was like I was in another part of the world In some of Buddha's temples. It's for the first time that I have open up to somebody else other than my psychiatrist about all of my ordeals in life. I explained to Valerie everything what I've been through and what I'm still going through, she has listened to me carefully and she was taking notes during our entire conversation, she would pause me from time to time to make sure that she understood every word I said and she was giving me advice about everything we talked. It was very professionally organized and after our conversation she told me about what and how everything works and all she said did make sense. She then instructed me to lay down and follow her lead. In the background there was a beautiful calm music instrumental. She covered my eyes with something and I have completely relaxed and just listened to her instruction, Valerie asked me questions and told me every step of what she will do, within minutes if not seconds I have been able to move to a different dimension, it's for a first time in my life that I have cleared my head and let go of all the stuff I wanted them out. She kept up with her treatments that I really can't describe it with words. It's for the first time that I haven't had any thoughts of negativity and it's for the first time that I have been able to completely relax and not think about anything that I've been dealing in life. There's no word that can ever explain how I felt. Valerie must have spend few hours with me and she took her time. After all that she made me a delicious tea and we talked about what she did and why she did it, she instructed me on how to continue and keep my head clear so I could have a positive energy and positive effect on my health. It's been a week that I have visited Aura Metier and I have been able to sleep much better. Valerie reach out to me by an email and followed up. I'm definitely going to pay her a visit in a very near future cause it is worthy for my own body and soul to see her. I have been able to rest and every time I go to bed since the day I visited her I've been able to fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer, such thing for me has been impossible in past few years but now I feel so much better and I hope that with time I will get better at it.
