I had Frozen Shoulder of my right arm 8 years ago and it took at least 8 weeks of physical therapy and manipulation techniques to get better. Fearing I had Frozen Shoulder again I went to my Orthopedist who confirmed this and gave me 2 shots of cortisone which relieved some of my pain for about 6 hrs and said I had to start physical therapy for it etc. My boyfriend who has been going to Liping on and off for over a decade (gets injuries from his line of work) went on and on how I should see her and try acupuncture because she has done amazing things for him and others and told me all kinds of stories. (He had been to other acupuncturists through the years but said Liping by far was the best. I figured I had nothing to lose and due to a cancellation was seen the next day. Liping said I didn't need cortisone shots and physical therapy. She herself had frozen shoulder she said before and could easily fix my shoulder. As a sceptic I had a we will see attitude but had my session with electro acupuncture and regular acupuncture. I did feel better when I left and kept feeling better throughout the day. The very next day I woke up with no pain and could actually move my arm like almost nothing ever happened! This was truly a miracle to me! I actually decided to go to my gym that morning and take my classes which include weight training, yoga etc! Although I did take it easy that first day I didn't want to jinx or hurt anything. But literally I was good as new...pain free and continuing taking my classes and working out by the second day as normal! Never went back to the orthopedist or physical therapy but did continue with Liping and have never been happier.

This review is based on accompanying my friend to see the TCM doctor/Clinic…read more My friend has been suffering from joint pain and pain in her fingers. She has seen another TCM doctor before but she was recommended Lin Sister. We didn't have an appointment and luckily they were not very busy. You fill out the form and they give you a number. The TCM doctor call you by that number. The clinic entrance is in the back of the shop and up one flight of stairs. We waited for about 15-20 minutes and was seen. He held her wrist and listen/feel the pulse. He asked a bunch of questions and wrote down a bunch of notes. He asked if she was sleeping good? Do you get up to use the bathroom middle of the night? Do you have headaches? Is your mouth dry? Are you pooing once a day? After 15 minutes of this, he gave her a list of Chinese herbal medicines to purchase downstairs. Told her to come back and see him in about a week or two after she is done with the meds. The modern (Americanize) TCM is now in packets and you mix them in hot water for consumption. The boiling actual herbs and ingredients in a pot days are gone! Interesting! Not sure what I make of this but what I can tell you is that my friend didn't feel any difference. I understand it's not magic potion and it takes time. A couple of months later, my friend saw a specialist and had a bunch of testing and blood work. She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. :-( Consultation $40 Herbal Meds $8 for a set x 7 days.

I had a terrible hives breakout all over me after attending a wedding & my doctors told me I'd have to take a 6 month treatment, & I was also told I should consider doing a weekly allergy shot for a year in order to help my situation. Another time (months later) I was dealing with a situation where I could not grasp anything with my hands without the feeling of pins and needles & heat in my palms. I knew my body was trying to tell me something and for 3 months my doctors just didn't take me seriously to help me figure it out. Both situations I ended up going to Lin Sisters & within a week of what I was dealing with, my symptoms were gone. It's a two week herbal medicine they gave me & honestly within days of taking the tea my symptoms both times had subsided. The third was for my son & again, the symptoms he was dealing with subsided with the herbal tea they prescribed for him. American medicine is just a bandaid whereas holistic medicine will actually search for the root cause & work from there & for that, I am grateful to the work Lin Sisters office does. The front staff & the doctor are truly all very pleasant people & you're for sure in good hands here.

Since that initial visit, my experience has been nothing but positive. Dr. Ko has been treating my liver, kidney, skin and stomach issues for nearly two years, and I'm finally seeing significant improvement. My eczema and constant itching have improved, and I'm now able to enjoy full meals again, which feels incredible. After spending over six years and a great deal of money visiting other doctors without real answers, I'm so relieved to have found Dr. Ko. My hair was also falling out constantly, but with consistent treatment it now feels much thicker and is gradually returning to normal--I'm really seeing noticeable improvement. He continues to work closely with me to help reduce my high cholesterol and genuinely cares about my progress. I highly recommend him--his herbal treatments really work, but it's important to follow his guidance and protocols carefully. He is highly professional and genuinely cares about his patients!

This was very unusual for me. The medicines that I was taking were failing me and I was becoming worried about my deteriorating health. After searching the web, I called Dr. Koh. Through my raspy voice, Dr. Koh understood my issue and allowed me to come in that same day. My voice was restored within 2 days of taking his prescription medicine and I have not been sick since. Dr. Koh has become my family's preferred provider. His treatment has dramatically improved ADHD symptoms in my son. Both my husband and I have seen an increase in cognition and self-control. This is a beautiful achievement because prescription medicines are not involved! Under Dr. Koh's care for the past few months, many of my other health issues have improved. Most of my anxiety symptoms have been alleviated. Heart palpitations, confusion, insomnia, and many other symptoms of stress have also disappeared. My immune system has become stronger and other markers of inflammation in my body are decreasing. I'm confident that by staying consistent with Dr. Koh's regimen of herbal medicine, acupuncture, nutrition and exercise advice, my body will reach optimal health. I'm also optimistic about my son's recovery from ADHD and ASD.
