Beautiful, quaint long term RV park with a small town feel. Easy access to I5 and shopping. Wonderful staff and neighbor.

The other reviews are harsh. I highly recommend it here if you like friendly neighbors, laundry on site, kind employees, a clubhouse to use and more. The gas station is convenient. It's in the country but not too far from a grocery store. I love that we each get a little yard and can put our stuff outside. We love it so far. read more

Unfortunately can't prove it but I had two water hoses with slices in them suddenly and this was not too long after managements maintenance team had asked to check my hose/filter in regards to the recent water issue just to check them off their list... They finished what they were doing and left, didn't mention any issues with my hose or filter if there had been any.. Very strong feeling this is a retaliation to my previous review.. read more

New management that continues to do a lot of improvements on the park. This is only rented monthly and they don't have an age requirement on your RV/Trailer but it has to be in good shape. read more

Keep Driving I have driven all over the US from Northern Alaska to Florida and all over Canada and this is the worst RV park I have ever encountered. It is a slum lot and the Manager (Chris) who runs the office on weekdays will no doubt have a lawsuit against her at some given time. I was trapped here during Covid-19 mandatory shut-in via executive order. It was also via executive order that no landlord could apply late fees whether it is an RV lot, trailer park, apartment, or house but this woman did, to all her customers, despite me sharing with her the executive order by the Governor. There are many old-timers here who are full time, not because they love the RV life but because they have no other choice. This woman has taken advantage of them in a time when all need to come together to support each other including our elders who are in destitute times. She illegally attempts to profit from their loss and these poor people are not able to speak for themselves. Aside from corrupt management and ownership that looks the other way, the park is nowhere near a "resort". The lots are smaller than the norm, many tenants are hoarders with mental illness, the highway is your roommate, literally. This park is surrounded by the highway which means you need many white noisemakers in the RV to drown out the airbrakes of all the trucks that stop to fuel up since the park is also surrounded by gas stations for truckers. You are also surrounded by agriculture which means the wind is blowing the Monsanto made poison the farmers spray their crops with right into your RV. There is no free WIFI despite the website advertising it. You are required to purchase wifi from a local provider or sit in the office to use theirs. There are numerous RV parks just outside Salem or some wonderful ones in Wilsonville, Gresham, wine country, or the Gorge area. Do not stop here or spend your money here. Don't support the atrocities, unprofessionalism, and lack of human compassion this park represents. read more

I just moved in and I'm going to be a guest for a little while. So far the place appears well-maintained and everything seems to work. If you need a convenient and clean place to stop this is a good option. The staff is very friendly, full RV hookups, clean bathrooms. There is a common area in the office with a big TV and a small pool. That being said, most RVs live here year round. read more

We came for my mothers funeral.We got there at 7:00 P.M. The sign on the door said open , no one was there ! the other sign said find a spot , fill out envelope ,(no envelopes ) we parked for the night and in the morning we went to pay. The woman in the the office (CHRIS)said we couldn't stay because we had a dog.There were dog bones on the desk in a bowl ,and people walking around with dogs She said we had to leave,so we took the trailer to the funeral /cemetery and started home to Reno at 4:00 P.M. read more

I'd like to start by saying the facilities are decent the park is in ok shape no clutter from permanent residents like you see at some parks. Having said that Chris in the office is one of the most awful people I have ever come across in my entire life. Wouldn't except our service dog unless he had a harness (Against the law) then once that was taken care of we were told our kind of people weren't welcome there ? And that we could only stay on a daily basis for a week and then we must leave because our application wasn't filled out all the way and she had no interest in us filling it because we were now liars ? Anyways if you're really hurting for a place it's a fine pit stop but if for any reason you get cross ways with the demon in the office you're out of luck because she refuses to let you speak to anyone up the chain because "she's the law around here" read more

Nice big trees and concrete slabs to park, easy reservation and checkin, we called to make the reservation. Not sure about online. There is an area that seems more long term stay, but we were put on the other side. They do have laundry and bathroom/showers which I would rate just ok. They have a pool but it's quite small. Only a quick store within walking distance, not a whole lot to walk to/walk around for exercise. Main downpoints were the loud highway noise and spots are pretty narrow with no picnic table or area to set up and outdoor space. We would say it's just Ok for the price and amenities. read more

If I could have stayed here forever, I would have. Before I moved here, I had put my name on the waiting list for an rv park that was supposedly "more upscale." After being here for a couple of weeks, I took my name off that list, as I decided there was no reason to move. The park is quiet, pretty, and well taken care of. There are plenty of places to walk my dogs. There is a field across the street, and a large field behind the park. It is close to everything you need, and there are interesting places to explore in every direction. The staff, especially, couldn't have been nicer. They helped me out on a number of occasions. I can only echo the latest review. Caveat emptor; buyer beware, "Good Sam" notwithstanding...and shame on that group, too, right alongside park management. Or what passes for management. Having been here for over a year now, you'll dearly pay your money; costs for what was promised will increase; you'll be condemned for the appearance of your rig, all while the roads deteriorate, infrastructure crumbles, and the septic system, appliances and more are barely held together with duct tape, bubble gum & after the fact, "out of order" notices. The latter, clearly, are all pre-printed, color-coded, and stacked in a thick file folder, waiting for the scotch tape. Or more duct tape. I've had a bellyful. And knowing my neighbors here, I am by no means alone. read more

Well, interesting attitudes for some of the reviews, grumpy, grouchy...yikes. We actually found the place quite charming while a little older and a small area of the road in the office area needing repair but goodness sake, get over it, downtown Portland is worse and you have to wait for dry weather here. The park is clean, any full timer spots were picked up and tidy, and the people friendly. Chris in the office was a charm to deal with and most accommodating while she worked with me for about 20 minutes. The laundry room was tidy, the bathrooms clean, a large inviting lobby for PC or just reading was nice. While some people don't understand that cleaning schedules can be tough to work with, I get it totally. Spaces are a bit narrow. The freeway noise, is well, expected, for gosh sakes you know it's there when you rent a space. The little food mart and gas station are a welcome convenience. The dog park across the the road is awesome. I prefer to walk my dog away from the RV's and visit with the dog lovers, the road is quiet, not at all busy and if your dog is on it's leash it is not a problem. We gave our deposit of 125.00 When we moved in on monthly basis. While there same rules did not apply to all across the board. Dogs were to remain on leashes at all times. When complained about dogs running around free with out leashes the response from manager is, what do you want me to do about it?? I'm not going to kick them out, we responded at least make the rules apply to everyone. Anyway, to get back to the 125.00 deposits, we were told it would be up to thirty days to receive our deposit. It is not the amount of money that is bothering me. It is the fact that we were told thirty days and it has been more than 60 days. We contacted Chris (Manager) of Aurora Acres asking about the refund and was told it was up to corporate, at that point we asked for contact info for corporate and was told that info could not be given leaving us in limbo and to them if and when they decide to send the refund. We have called before about a month ago and was told the same thing each time by Chris that the check would be sent out in the next batch. Haven't seen it yet. read more

I think the current reviews are not accurately reflecting this RV park. Let me first off say that this is my second long term stay at this park. The first time was in 2009 while my daughter finished high school. In 2009 the staff was amazing, the grounds kept up, the pool clean, the laundry and public restrooms/showers were clean continuously. That being said, let's discuss my current thoughts. The staff here is still amazing! Even though it is an entirely different staff than my previous stay they all have been pleasant, polite and engaged. Chris who works in the main office has done an amazing job working with us to meet our needs. She has always been available for us and same for the weekend crew. Juan in maintenance checks in on the people here to ensure we don't have issues with sprinklers etc. The laundry/restroom/shower facilities have been perfectly maintained without defects or smells. The staff that cleans does a great job and I'm glad they close for a short time daily to keep them presentable. As for the freeway noise, so be it. Once in our rig at night we do not hear it. Even during the daytime it is more than fine. The spots are not anymore narrow than the other few parks around most of which don't have a fenced property or trees and cost substantially more money. The community club house is large, offers TV and wifi and well kept. The dog park across the street which is not a busy road with continuous traffic is kept up, properly signed and even offers doggy bags. The pool is maintained and utilized by many of the guests. It is not large but you definitely can lounge on a float of normal size. The prices here are far cheaper than any around. There is a reason there are so many full timers here. If they didn't like it they can leave anytime. Parking is limited to one vehicle which is equivalent to other parks. It is nice that this property offers a dry storage of which we have access to during business hours. It is nice to know that our storage area is secured with lock and key and not a free for all for whomever decides to take off with something so costly and personal to us. It has on both times staying here been extremely safe. The people that stay whether for a night or extended time have been extremely friendly. My advice to those of you thinking this is not such a good place to stay is to keep on driving! I personally don't want people to be staying around me with poor attitudes and such. If I could give this place a zero I would! We travel around for my husbands job and I look at Rv Parks like hotels for Rv's! Just walking into the office I had to walk through 3 women smoking by the front door once I got in the door there was one woman in the room and she took her time to get to me and had to answer the phone that started ringing as she finally sat down and make their reservation! Then unlock the glass window and look at me as if I was her worst enemy! Now when I called to make my reservation she did tell me that she didn't have a space big enough for both our trucks and the 5th wheel but she told us we could park it in guest parking! So I check in and I ask her where do I park the work truck and she told me we had to park it in storage and pay 40.00 and it was only available certain times I said that wasn't going to work as my husband needed his work truck! I said can't we park in guest parking and she said that's for guests. I looked at my husband and said I thought we were guests? I then told the lady with the scowl on her face that we would be looking for a different place. And we paid for a week thinking it would take me that long to find a better place. It took me an hour so I went back to the office to let her know we would be out in 4 days and she proceeded to tell me know refunds I said that's fine keep it! This park is mostly older trailer full timers and the dog park is across a busy street, very very unfriendly front desk, the sights are very narrow and you couldn't pay me to ever stay here again! read more

I called on 07 Nov 2017 around 6:10 pm talk to a woman. I don't know if she was a owner or just a employee. she asked how many in my party I said 2. she asked any pets I said 3 dogs and that they are registered service dogs I have two pugs with Dr's letters from the VA and my girlfriend has a mix breed not 100% sure of breed looks like a mix of American bull dog and something else. he is registered with united states service dog registry. she told me that pit bull's, Doberman's, Rottweiler's and German shepherd's are not aloud. then I said even if they are registered service dog. she said there would be a problem with the residents there. I said so even if there service animals there not aloud. her response was I didn't say that. she keep repeating that the people that live there month to month would have a problem. so basically she would turn you away because your service animal is one of the breeds listed. read more

This place is going down hill. I think the owners don't care they are new to rv parks. The restrooms are not clean on weekdays like they need to be only on weekends are they. There is pot holes in the driveway, the maintenance man dose what he can and is always there to help you . The person who cleans the restroom on the weekends dose a very good job, they smell so clean, but there is mole on the walls in the showers. This place is a Good Sam rv park. read more

This is possibly the worst place we've ever stayed. We were literally 100' from a 6 lane freeway (I-5). Three nights NO SLEEP! Booked us in a 38' slot and we told them our RV was 33' plus a tow car. Obviously a monthly park! The lady at checkout was less than kind. Never again! Sad because parks are limited in this area. read more
