I can appreciate an RV park having rules and staff that strive to maintain them that being said this is a nicely buttoned up park, great Wi-Fi, clean big walk in shower/bathrooms that were amazing, maintenance staff hard at work all day every day. Had the pleasure of staying at the back end of the park near the pond with aerators with hardly any neighbors for four days it was divine. Very quiet, comfortable and tranquil. Laundry was clean and nice. Staff friendly and accommodating for early check-in which was appreciated. Big store with lots of offerings. Grocery store less than a mile away. Quaint town lots of cute shops in the downtown area. Lots of speed bumps which is good especially with little kids around and when a park doesn't have them ppl will really blow through sites. Sites are gravel so slightly challenging as in my case the gravel would sink in one side/one tire of my trailer and I couldn't crank up high enough to get level. Overall I can see why they are rated so high it was a real resort and I would def recommend and revisit again. Happy camping.

This is a great RV park. There is a pool, game room, playground. It's sooo clean. It's so refreshing going into a tiled shower without dirt all over the floor. Plus they had separate bathrooms so you don't have to smell grossness while showering. It's very clean, well kept and amazingly accessible to people with disabilities. Even the pool had a chair lift. Great place!! Highly recommended!

I've added a star since my last visit because they finished construction of the pool area. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but the pool area looks very nice, though small for the size of the park. My comments in my previous review stand. The roads and pads are gravel, so you have the noise of vehicles and rvs driving on gravel throughout the day and the noise of the highway. But overall, not a bad place to hang your hat while you visit Oregon Gardens, Silverton, and Silver Falls State Park.

Based on reviews we chose Silver Spur RV Park over Phoenix RV Park (which was just down the road about 15 minutes). When we rolled into Silver Spur we were a little disappointed at first because of the gravel everywhere and the fact that there were SO MANY rv's there! In fact, we almost decided to pack up and split. But we were tired and decided to try it out for a night. WE'RE GLAD WE DID!! The last couple rv parks we stayed at (which also happened to be the first couple rv parks we stayed at) were very very updated and more "modern" for lack of a better term, so I think we got spoiled by those. Silver Spur doesn't really have a wow factor that some fancier parks have, but everyone we came across was very nice and gave us a friendly wave and a smile. Restrooms & showers were clean and tidy. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the nights were very quiet and peaceful and we felt like we were in a safe environment. We happened to drive by that Phoenix RV Park at one point and when we saw how close it was to a very very busy intersection with a lot of "questionable" people walking around, we knew we made the right decision in sticking with Silver Spur. Great RV Park. We will definitely stay there again the next time we're in the area!

I really enjoyed swimming in chilly shallow waters of the Santian River. I enjoyed walking around the trails that were well tended. The shower and bathroom facilities was clean and the water pressure was good. The wide grassy field next to the river was the perfect spot to watch the Total Solar Eclipse. 2022 is the year I have learned what happened in 2020 when a wildfire swept the once delightful camping attraction. I am so sorry the wildfire happened. I really hope the campground will come back as it used to be but it may be a long long time before it actually does.

It features 21 pull through trailer sites and 29 tenting sites along with some group camping sites and even two cabins that sleep six. Bathrooms and showers are plentiful, water is never a long walk away, firewood is pretty inexpensive (you have to buy their wood, don't bring any with you) and each site has electricity available. We've been here camping the last four years or so and we really enjoy the beauty and the quiet as well as the availability of things to do here and nearby. Fishing, hiking, group activities, a boat ramp, ball fields, playgrounds, basketball courts and picnic areas are just some of the offerings. This last trip we stayed four days in one of the two cabins available. It truly will sleep six comfortably, has a nice picnic table both inside the cabin and outside next to the fire pit. There is a barbecue as well power in the cabin and water right out front just steps from the ample sized porch. You can bring pets but they cannot be in the cabin, our dogs did fine outside and we also set up a tent for them too, but they chose to stay on the porch. Fisherman's Bend is close enough to home that it's affordable camping within an hour and half of the Portland Area, close to Silver Falls State Park, Detroit Lakes and Salem. It is worth checking out.

There are fire hazards everywhere, and the permanent residence are not made to clean up their areas. It is a complete utter pigsty! Not to mention the office manager, Erin, is the most unprofessional rudest person with a power trip complex I have ever met! I give this place zero stars but the system does not allow you to give negative stars. So I only gave them one and they don't even deserve that! Don't ever stay here I have a video of the black mold in the showers and the massive amounts of moldy hair underneath the mats in the shower. If at all possible stay somewhere else.

A Complete Disaster -- Avoid at All Costs…read more Staying at this RV park was an absolute nightmare. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is not just "run down" -- it's completely neglected and unsafe. The issues start at the top, with the owner and management, and trickle down to the tenants. It's common knowledge among those familiar with the park that the manager and her son allegedly accept drugs as payment for rent. The signs of meth use are unmistakable and create an environment that feels dangerous and unpredictable. The condition of the park itself is appalling. During my two-night stay, I encountered one of the most alarming issues -- a trailer leaking raw sewage directly into the street. The odor was unbearable, and the source was easy to trace: a trailer located in the middle row, on the right side, about 4-5 trailers down from the office. This is not just a health hazard, but a blatant violation of safety standards. Adding to the frustration, the park falsely advertises having WiFi. In reality, there's no functional connection. I wasted hours waiting for the manager's son, who sat glued to his phone on the office bench for five hours after telling me he "may or may not" have it running before 6 PM. His indifference was beyond unprofessional -- it was downright insulting. As you walk around the park, the neglect is impossible to ignore. Trash is scattered everywhere, weeds overrun the grounds, cars are out of place, and trailers are falling apart under the weight of hoarded junk. The lack of care and complacency from those managing this place is staggering. They're lazy, argumentative, and clearly unbothered by the chaos around them. What's worse, the owner seems complicit in all of this. Allowing the management to operate like this -- turning a blind eye to drug use and unsanitary conditions -- suggests that he's either unaware of the reality or perfectly content with running his property straight into the ground. It's hard to believe that anyone who cared even remotely about their investment would let things deteriorate to this point. Frankly, I'm shocked that the city hasn't stepped in to shut this place down. It feels like it's only one sewage leak or police raid away from being condemned. I wouldn't recommend this park to anyone, under any circumstances.
