I have tried everything my doctor has prescribed me from differn to doxycycline. I have tried every over the counter medicine imaginable including proactive. Using other products I never had any results. Or if I did they would only last for a few days then my skin would break out again. I am about 20 days in to the program and my skin is already night and day different. My initial consultation was wonderful. It is a great experience to have someone personally tailor a skin care routine to your needs. There are a ton of different products she has available and she will recommend what will work best for you. I am using the face reality products and I am very pleased. If you take her advice, stay away from certain foods and chemicals, and stick to the morning and evening routine you will see results. I have literally tried everything for years and my skin has never looked better than it does now. *** UPDATE*** I have been going to see Karin monthly now for a year. My acne is GONE!! I occasional get hormonal breakout (influenced by that time of the month) and seeing her monthly is more enjoyable now. My skin continues to improve and my breakouts are less and less severe. I've been a client at Celebrity Med Spa since 2022, but my experience has unfortunately been disappointing and frustrating. I initially trusted this place, but over time, I noticed a consistent lack of professionalism and a strong bias in favor of their staff often at the expense of customer care. On Women's Day, I was given the wrong package and double-charged. When I brought it to their attention, instead of acknowledging the mistake and offering an appropriate resolution, they offered me a $450 facial I didn't need. The staff was not properly trained, and my appointments were frequently canceled often at the last minute with no regard for my time or schedule. During calls to reschedule, I was repeatedly talked over and not allowed to express my concerns. One staff member continued speaking without letting me respond, and when I voiced that clients deserve to be heard, I was met with hostility. It became clear that they prioritized their team over their clients, which is concerning for any customer-focused business. When I mentioned that certain areas were left untreated during a session, the response I got was defensive "I have 20 years of experience, I know what I'm doing" instead of listening or addressing the issue. During a snowstorm, they canceled my 8:00 AM appointment with a message sent at 7:46 AM, focusing only on the safety of the staff and not even acknowledging the inconvenience to the customer. This was after I had already started driving in dangerous conditions. When I politely raised concerns about the consistent disregard and communication issues, I was told that I was the problem. The entire conversation shifted to defending staff behavior instead of addressing valid client concerns. I was essentially forced to end my service due to the lack of respect and understanding. It's disheartening to feel dismissed, talked over, and discriminated against. I also noticed a pattern where positive feedback is welcomed, but any complaint results in pushback or being made to feel unwelcome. They strongly encourage tipping and link discounts to gratuities, which feels more like pressure than appreciation. Sadly, I no longer feel comfortable returning to this spa. I hope they reflect on how they treat clients--especially those from diverse backgrounds and work on building a culture that values respectful, two-way communication. Biased, discriminated, disrespectful. For them only staff is important. They do not want their staff to fell uncomfortable. but they are totally happy to if the client is uncomfortable.

In fact, I hate this but 9 times out of 10, I just fall asleep in the middle of my treatment. She is great fun to talk to! Also, Christine never pushes product on me ever. So, as Teko's website noted, I called to inquire about openings for new clients and available services/offerings. Teko told me that her first-time consultation was a flat $200. When I asked what that typically included, she started to become, what felt like, frustrated. Finally, she indicated that it would consist of whatever she wanted it to include/whatever my skin needed at the time. I tried to understand what this meant (i.e., a possibility of a facial, LED treatment, etc.); when I asked more clarifying questions about her menu of services, she said she didn't want to tell me. This didn't feel very clear, so I asked another question to gain some clarity. (For example, does she even offer facials and carry the Epionce line?) Teko replied that she had never had anyone talk to her like this before and that it made her uncomfortable. And, by talking to her like "this," I assume she means "asking questions"? The more she refused to answer my questions, the more confused I became, and the cycle continued. All up, she said she is in high demand, only takes referrals, that her reputation precedes her, and that I should just trust that she will take great care of my skin. I explained that I was trying to get to know her and her offerings and didn't intend to offend or upset her. To this, she replied that I was not a good fit for a client because I didn't trust her, which made her uncomfortable. That she is too busy to have time for these types of phone conversations. Then, why do you ask new clients to call you? While it's terrific that Teko wants to do everything she can to protect the skin, it feels like she forgets there is a person behind it. And, that trust is also earned. My advice? Find someone else who will treat you with respect and understanding (and make you feel comfortable) in the same way she expects it returned.
