She was friendly and we chatted a little as she was getting things set up. She took X-rays of my teeth and showed them to me and explained what I was seeing. She told me what she was going to do before doing different procedures. She asked me several times if I was doing OK during the exam. She checked my face, neck, lymph nodes, and jaw for swelling and lumps. She cleaned my teeth and shared what she was doing and seeing as she went through my mouth. Dr. Perman came in and checked my teeth and confirmed that I needed a root canal and a couple of fillings, etc. I have seen more than 6 dentists in my life and Dr. Perman is the best! Gail explained more about the root canal and gave me some suggestions about how to help prevent tooth decay. She also complemented me on how clean my teeth were. Becky, the office manager, always greets me with a smile and is so friendly. She found a time for me to get my follow-up work done as soon as possible. She printed an itemized statement showing the charge, insurance payment, and what I will need to pay. I am extremely pleased with the professional, friendly care I have received from the Perman Dental Office.

I had some old fillings and instead of just replacing those they advised me to go with crowns for all prior fillings. I saw a dentist on a regular basis so I would have thought another dentist would have noticed any cavities that had formed in those areas. After the procedure they then tried to over bill me. I am still working on seeing why that is happening. My insurance paid more than what they were responsible for and I paid the other half. The work done costs more than 6K dollars. It appeared that many of the patients were receiving crowns.

I was looking for a new dentist after moving out of state and came across this brand new office. The staff is amazing and so kind, the office is very new and updated and clean, and overall the feel of the rooms with the TV on the ceiling made me feel less scared. I came in for a couple cavity fillings and when I tell you I did NOT feel a single thing, I mean it. I never felt the syringe go in to numb me, and barely felt the vibrations on my teeth. Was so surprised to hear they were finished because I was so comfortable and zoned out on my movie. Dr Mattson is so incredibly kind and sweet. I felt so comfortable being in her chair. The dental assistant is also so sweet and let me know everything single step of what they were doing, from the x rays, to the check up, to insurance and financial aspects. She was always interrupted and doing other things. Not very good attention to patients... also 3 months later and I still have pain and pressure issues with the work they did. 2) my insurance was canceled due to layoff and they would not give me a discount like to do the insurance companies and they would not give a Military Veteran discount. I even paid over $1000 out of pocket with not discount for paying early in full!! (Veterans - i would go somewhere else. Not a good community place, no Veteran support, just greedy!!!
