I had a temporary crown installed and they didn't smooth it out. It was very rough and is cutting my tongue. They don't have any time to fix until next week. I am not happy about the service I am getting. read more

The staff and Dr. Ben are very nice to work with. However, I'm not too sure about the diagnoses. They appear to go overboard with the crowns. I had some old fillings and instead of just replacing those they advised me to go with crowns for all prior fillings. I saw a dentist on a regular basis so I would have thought another dentist would have noticed any cavities that had formed in those areas. After the procedure they then tried to over bill me. I am still working on seeing why that is happening. My insurance paid more than what they were responsible for and I paid the other half. The work done costs more than 6K dollars. It appeared that many of the patients were receiving crowns. read more

Dr. Ben and his staff are so personable, patient and kind. I get very nervous when having dental work done, and they catered to my every need. Although I can't say I love going to the dentist, they make it so much easier and a better experience than anywhere I've been before. They're just wonderful! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Ben and his team for over two years now and have never found a place as welcoming as Fountain Valley Dental. I've always had a strong fear of going to the dentist and being judged for my teeth. But that wasn't the case here, every time I walk in I am welcomed with opened arms and warm smiles. They really take the time to listen to your concerns, and treat your problems without that rushed feel you get at most offices. Dr. Ben has taken the time to discuss my personal problem areas and gave me the tools to succeed on my own without judgement of my honesty. Not to mention, they are very inclusive and offer a lot of in house procedures most places would refer you out for; like wisdom teeth extractions or Invisalign. Dr Ben stands behind his work. I moved away so started going to a different dentist. When I had a crown break my new dentist informed me that my insurance wouldn't cover it because it was only 3 years old. I was very upset about this and wrote a not so nice letter to Fountain Valley dental where I had gotten the first crown. I was surprised that Dr Ben reached out to me and offered to replace the crown at no cost to me. I certainly didn't expect it since it had been 3 years since the crown had been put in but was very glad to be able to save the thousand dollars it was going to cost to get a new one. I brought my daughter to fountain valley dental for her first visit and we had a great experience! The rooms have fun themes with jungle animals that she loved! We saw Amanda the hygienist and she was so gentle and kind. Dr. Ben was just as great with her! I love that I can bring my whole family to one office. The best dental experience I've had. Everyone I met at Fountain Valley was happy and welcoming. They also did a great job at pre numbing my mouth so the needle didn't hurt as much. I've never had that before. To top it all off I received a call later that night from Dr. Whitted asking if I had any pain or issues after the fillings. That's unheard of. My family and I have been patients at Fountain Valley Dental for about five years. The beautiful office is cozy and welcoming. There's never a long wait and we're always greeted by friendly staff. The hygiene crew is top notch--thorough and gentle. The dentists are friendly and thorough and patiently explain dental hygiene results and treatment plans. Dr. Whitted is a great addition to the office and Molalla is fortunate to have him! The billing staff does all the insurance gymnastics so we know exactly what a treatment will cost. We are very happy and satisfied with Fountain Valley Dental. PS--The spa, restaurant, and coffee shop on the campus are a convenient and beautiful bonus! They are fine for a cavity or cleaning but anything else I highly recommend going elsewhere. Had a lot of crown work done there and I finally had to find someone else to fix there mistakes. They were not to interested in working with me to fix my bite after the crown work was complete. read more

Fountain Valley Dental is a pretty great place to go to get dental work done. The staff are very friendly and nice, and the dentist, Ben Whitted seems like a very genuine, good guy. He's down to earth yet very knowledgeable and I felt quite relaxed and comfortable getting my teeth worked on. He let me know what he was doing while he was working and I appreciated that. His assistants were really nice and easy going too which helped me stay relaxed. Of all the dentists I've been to in my life he is definitely my favorite. I would highly recommend him. read more

I had the most horrific experience at Molalla fountain valley dental! I took my 5 year old daughter in to have a tooth pulled because her adult tooth was coming in before the baby one fell out, she said it was causing some pain and we feared it was crowding her new tooth. Anyhow we go in she's a bit scared it's her first time... She sees the needle and gets squirmish... Who doesnt?! Especially a child! One Of THE ASSISTANT GALS Asked If I WOULD Leave THE Room THE MAYBE My DAUGHTER WOULD BE More calm... UMMM no! Are you kidding me?! After they try persuading my daughter with cartoons on the ceiling and goodies after she still squirming... and that is all mind you she's acting scared but not screaming or flailing about or anything... and the dentist suddenly gets this sheet Of rage over his face starts to shake slams his needle on the counter says "That's it! This isn't right I'm not doing this! I don't know what's making her do that!" Sigh... it was all I could do not to cry I was so shocked, mad and appalled... How can a medical professional act in such a manner?! Especially with a child??? It was horrifying... the Lil assistant gal jumped in for DAMAGE control escorted us DOWN THE HALL was very sweet gave my daughter all these toys, tooth brush and a Lil box for when her tooth does fall out and didn't charge us anything. But we are never ever stepping foot in that awful establishment AGAIN! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DON'T GO ESPECIALLY DON'T TAKE A CHILD... WHO ACTS THAT WAY???!!! Everyone at FVD is very friendly, caring and compassionate From the time you walk through the door and leave after your visit you are always welcomed with a smile and warm greeting and the same when you leave in a caring goodbye. Dr. Ben always takes time to visit with you getting to know you as a person and friend and not just discussing dental services and all of the wonderful staff are the same way at FVD.
