They made the experience very normal and comfortable, especially since my daughter was very nervous and cautious. They worked with us to make everything work for our family. My daughter now enjoys going to her appointment and visiting with the staff. They are friendly, very clean and are taking all precautions necessary to keep all of their patients safe during covid. I would highly recommend them for anyone in your family... they are especially good with kids though, having great bedside manner, which can be hard to find in a doctor. I had called prior to scheduling a consult with them to see if…read morethey could do cash or check without a card needing to be on file, I was told that wasn't and issue if I was paying by cash or check as I do not have a card to place on file. Had the consult and was scheduled for scan of teeth to be able to get aligners made. Was then told I could not start treatment until I had card on file. I explained multiple times I don't have a card and I'd be paying with cash or check. They then try to ask me for banking checking and routing number again explained I asked before even scheduling consult with them if I needed card on file and did record my conversation when I had it with the rep that told me I didn't need card on file. They then try to offer me after maybe about a week of going back and further that I could do 1 set of aligners a month once I pay in cash or check. Uhm no too late. I'm not the one who made the mistake and gave out incorrect information. If someone makes a mistake good customer service is honoring that mistake that was made but obviously here they do not care about good customer service.

On October 28th, 2024 the day I received the new account info I went into the office to update the EFT info. It seemed all was well. Flash forward to today. I called to make a follow up appointment and they informed me my account had gone to collections. Excuse me? I have never received a phone call, voice message, email, or any other form of communication period. They claim to have called sent emails and letters but unfortunately the inbox and phone records tell a very different story. It's extremely frustrating and disappointing to not only be overlooked but also left to sort out what to do next with my treatment. Both of my daughters have been patients here in the past for orthodontics receiving their full course of treatment, over the course of several years, paid in full with no issues what so ever. In fact last year I encouraged my nephews and sister in law to also seek treatment with these folks which they have also done with no issues. Now I'm left sorting out what do next with this process its a big issue to be sure. I will be sure to share this experience with all my friends and family and those who are already patients should perhaps consider a move to another office for their ortho needs. I would encourage anyone looking at this office to think twice. Their communication is non existent and evidently they have no issue at all creating a narrative that simply isn't accurate and removing you without any compassion or concern for what comes next. I will follow up with what additional steps we take and their outcome. STAY AWAY!

Last year his office merged with Dr Sessions bc Sessions is retiring so Dischinger office is twice as busy accommodating all of Sessions patients too-- it is impossible to get appt times before or after school, he has a 3rd orthodontist who sees many of his patients instead of him for check ups (which wasn't approved or discussed with me before this started happening), and he only uses "Spark" aligners bc he is paid by that company to push that product. There are also like 10 patient chairs in the 1 treatment area they have, practically on top of each other with no division between the chairs...so you have no privacy when you are getting treatment, and you hear everyone else's personal health information and treatments, which made me very uncomfortable. The docs hop from chair to chair and spend as little time as possible with patients, it's run like an assembly line. It's a shame bc I like the support staff that work there, but the office has gone really down hill in the last year since the merger.

I have had a few concerns with my treatment at my current office and wanted reassurance from an Orthodontist (my Invisalign case is being done through a general dentist currently). I don't believe it's called Paventy & Sheets (I'm not sure if this was a former name, but it's Paventy & Brown Orthdontics now). All of the staff there are incredible and very friendly, especially the front desk staff. I feel so welcomed and supported with every visit. I also appreciate the fun they have there--with music, decorations, raffles, etc. It's a great way to build community and incentivize positive and healthy hygiene and dental care habits. I have been impressed with the service and would highly recommend this facility. It was the most expensive orthodontist of the four orthodontists I visited in Corvallis, but I was fine with that once I noticed the high quality customer service, positive experience, and speed of treatment--Dr. Paventy was able to straighten my teeth in a year, compared to other facilities who were going to take a year and a half to two years to treat me. Logistically speaking, scheduling is easy, wait times are short, appointments are efficient and effective, and payment is flexible. I wish I had more time with Dr. Paventy, but his staff take care of me well, and I've become used to spending more time with his assistants rather than with him (which is the same when you go to a regular dentist). My only concern is that Dr. Paventy and possibly one other man seem to be the only men in the clinic. All of the other staff are women, and there are pretty much no people of color.
