Growing up just a few miles from this property, I have always wanted to explore this century home & jumped at the opportunity to do so when they hosted an open house on Sunday. Not only were my mother & I greeted by a scene that seemed to jump off the pages of a Agatha Christie novel but an absolutely lovely staff & delicious goodies for those attending the tour. There were a few yummy goods for sales such a violet jam (which I can't wait to try!) & local honey. But I must admit, there were free cookies as well- whomever made the lavender/lemon creme cookies...I could've eaten the entire tray myself; absolutely delicious!!! You can also purchase unique floral vases or flowers to create your own arrangements. Seeds to grow at home or even have the staff grow flowers for your wedding or other special event. There are a lot of things I admired about the creative and talented minds behind this business. For starters, you can gather a world of knowledge by just observing your surroundings- the staff is very knowledgeable about what they grow , ideas & experiments they are introducing to the environment to make a positive impact on their gardens & care tips for the many varieties or plants they provide. This is NOT your typical florist! The plants used in their arrangements they grow on sight so only seasonal flowers, fruits & veggies are used. They also have a compost pile, a small lake, a barn that can be rented for out & such wonderful gardens. The tour was inspiring, nice & quiet and had a great flow to it. Nate is a very charming individual, Liz has a delightful energy, and Corinne has a way of explaining things without making one feel ignorant...all three of these staff members offered wonderful hospitality, knowledge and pleasant experience. They also offer floral subscriptions & accept vase donations. My father has purchased flowers for my mother here on a number of occasions and the arrangements last a week and a half longer (sometimes 2 weeks) than any major chain bought arrangements. This is a positive way to help a local business grow and pass the beauty on.

I've now ordered from Paradise Flower Market multiple times for birthdays and holidays and it's a great way to share that I'm thinking of her when I can't make it back. I've always ordered through the website and every arrangement I've ordered has been thoroughly enjoyed. For my latest order I selected the "Designers Choice" arrangement and while I didn't receive a photo, I was told they were "Splederiferous" by my grandma. I'm hoping I can get someone to send me a photo, but I know from previous gifts that they always look amazing. I appreciate the ease of online ordering and the variety of options, as well as the option to include a gift message. I was also able to schedule the flowers for next day delivery. Since I've ordered a few times I'm also on their email list and they send promotional emails, including reminders around the time of previous orders which I thought was really thoughtful. I also liked that they sent email updates notifying me when the flowers were out for delivery and when they were delivered. It allowed me to call my grandma to make sure she received them/knew that she had a gift waiting for her at home. While not necessary, I'd love it if they could add a photo to the email so I could see the arrangement too since it's a long distance purchase, but they do such a great job as it is. I'll absolutely be ordering more from Paradise Flower Market in the future.

The flowers that arrived did not look anything like the photo, and the flower quality is sad and wilted. I would understand if the flowers were fresh, and the arrangement not exactly like the photo. But to not look like the online photo and have bad-quality flowers. that says a lot. Compare the photo online, and what was delivered. If you would like flowers delivered, go anywhere else.

I am very disappointed and will never use this business again.

However, we felt the arrangement fell short for the large amount of money paid. When we called to share our disappointment, she said that if we had spent $50 more, it would have been bigger. Really?? I also questioned why everyone was being charged $16+ for delivery when several arrangements were going to the same location. She said the distance between the two locations was 40 minutes. Not true. I'm familiar with the area & even Google says it's 15 minutes not 40 minutes. She could have cared less about our concerns. For many, many years, I have used this shop between the different owners. I will never use this shop again nor recommend them.
