Visited screamin peach for the first time friday because my normal gal sadly had a migraine and needed to cancel. It was my husbands birthday and I was going away so needed to find another place to go. I was able to get a last minute appointment in at the screamin peach. Making the appointment was easy and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Arrived at the location. It is difficult to find a parking spot right on college where they are, and if you are lucky enough to find a spot its pretty hard to back out onto college. Traffic doesn't want to let you out. I would high recommend parking on laurel instead. Once you arrive you have to call to let them know you are there. You will need to wear your mask inside and then use their hand sanitizer or bring your own in to use once inside. The person who worked on me was great. She did a good job and i was very happy with my full leg wax. However, Kristi at Waxing moon is still my favorite and i will be going back to her for my next visit. The prices were a little higher than what I pay at my other studio. The rooms are also private Overall i was happy and I was very thankful to be able to get in so last minute. read more

I got my first ever brow and Brazilian wax with Alena today. She was so sweet, personable, and comforting and made me a lot less nervous than I was. The brow wax didn't hurt at all and she made certain that my brows weren't thinned. She cleaned them up so precisely and nicely and I love them. And although the Brazilian hurt like a b**** because it was my first time, Alena made me feel so comfortable and the pain only lasted for like 10 seconds. I got my first Brazilian here. The waxer, Jayne, was aggressive and fast, not allowing me time to get used to the wax. She failed to tell me about why the wax would not be great the first time, leaving me worried as to why it looked like I shaved and had bumps. I asked for a triangle and got a very lopsided landing strip. The second time I went was for a touch up (free in their defense). The next girl, Kayla, was very nice but did not do any better of a job. She left my landing strip crooked and over-waxed one eyebrow, giving a defense of "they're not twins, they're sisters". The price, though affordable, is not worth the bad job they did. read more

Short story: There's no one I'd rather have rip hair off of me than the lovely ladies at Screaming Peach. (If you're doing anything down south, wear loose sweats.) Long story: My sister and I came here for our very first Brazilian/Bikini waxes (we are heading to Hawaii and wanted to avoid the hassle of shaving). I'm a super awkward person as it is so when I was told to undress from the waist down, I had a moment of pause. Jaimie made me feel extremely comfortable (which is difficult to do in this situation). She really has a way of making you confident in the fact that you're about to have all the hair ripped off of a sensitive area. I mean, it was my decision so let's do it! Jaimie was not only quick but she did an amazing job and put me at ease at the same time. Of course I'm red and sensitive and walked like a bowlegged cowboy but it didn't last long. She was very thorough in explaining my after care and upkeep, too, and I am making sure to follow all of her advice. Needles to say it was painful but we as women have alllll had worse, for a much longer period of time, and with a lot less pay off. So I will definitely be going back. read more

I've gotten Brazilian waxes at several different places, and it's great how Screaming Peach goes above and beyond to make you feel at ease, gives you follow-up tips for first timers to their salon and the one week follow-up check-in is to check for stragglers sets them apart. I visited the Screamin Peach after a very bad experience with a Denver Waxing studio, ( I know should have come here first) Being male, in a female dominated service, it presents a challenge in not only finding a provider, but making sure they have the knowledge and understanding to meet that industry variable. The folks here are hands down amazing! From the appointment, to the folks at the counter, to the rooms, to the environment and safety. Ashley was fantastic! Respectful, vocal about what's happening, and her upbeat positive attitude were amazing. I have found my permanent home. My friend went to Carrie to get her eyebrows done...I'm just gonna say it. WOW, I've never seen her look better. She said that Carrie used scented wax and she loved it, she also had a very soft touch. I went to Amanda. I've never had my eyebrows done so well, she also had a very soft touch. I have pretty thick dark eyebrows so I usually try to make them thin and I've never used brow shadow. Well I was doing it wrong...all wrong. She left them a little thicker and used a bit of the shadow...it took years off! Seriously! Can you tell I loved it? Totally worth it! Oh and super clean. I was extremely impressed with how precise Alena was. How much of an arch? Do you want them to look full? Thin? She examined the way my eyebrow hairs fell and how much of a trim they would need. The wax was well-applied, and even though I hadn't been waxed in a while, it was practically painless! She was very kind too, making sure I was as comfortable as possible. The waxing rooms were dimly lit and pleasingly private. Very nice experience and I recommend it completely. Bonuses: They took walk-ins on short notice and the entire staff was very polite and professional. Just moved to the area came here (based on all the reviews) and saw Ashley. I felt like she was moving at a very fast pace and didn't slow down to get to know me or ask me about my brows. Also, I DO NOT like that you lay on a bed pushed up against a wall and she waxes you from the side. Any good place, they sit behind your head and look down at you from that angel to properly do your brows and they take their take. She didn't take her time. This place was so freakin busy she was running 20 mins behind. When she got to me she blew threw my appointment and in addition, made my eyebrows (that I've been trying to grow out) thin. Also, I don't care for an eyebrow artist that waxes and then leaves the shaping up to ME. Like wtf.... if I knew what I was doing I wouldn't be laying on your table. I seek out the professionals and spend money for that because you should know how to shape and what looks good. I left, pissed. I called to speak to a manager a few days later. She put me in with the owner at the freely location, so I drove ALL the way over there, and sadly, it wasn't much better, and she waxed from the side of the table too. I've been seeing Kylie for a little over a year now, and I absolutely LOVE her work! :-) She is fabulous, funny, quick and diligent, yet sometimes hard to get in with on short notice, (guess thats what you get for requesting a rockstar waxer) ;-) I also like the product, and clothing that is offered in the front lounge area. Kylie is NEVER pushy about buying product, but offers free diagnosis. ;-) After refusing for about the first 4 months to buy any product, I started using the PHB and EMU oil, as she recomended for ingrown hairs, and Ive seen AMAZING results! Shopping for a waxer you like, is about the same as shopping for a Hair dresser, in my books. After trying several waxing studios in Fort Collins, I was Recommended by my friend Jen, who had only seen Kylie a handful of times, but spoke VERY highly of her. I didn't hesitate to call Screamin Peach for an apt, and got my FIRST brazillian with her, and I have never stopped going! It's great to trust someone with the lady parts of you, that makes or breaks your look. lol Prices are very reasonable, with rewards for returning customers. I love that about a professional waxing studio. So glad I walk into a place that is specific to waxing, and such a bright, wonderful atmosphere. I was in from LA and needed to get waxed today. Made the appointment and came in. Rachel, who took care of me, was early for my appointment which is so great! She was unbelievably friendly as she showed me back to the rooms. Once she started I knew this was a great choice. Not kidding, 7 minutes and the MOST GENTLE Brazilian I've ever had! I've been getting waxed for 10 years and in a lot of major cities in the country. She was the best at the Brazilian wax I've experienced. And CHEAP!!!!
