I noticed some maggots in my trash bin on Wednesday of this week while taking the trash to the curb for pickup. I emailed Austin Bin Wash and asked if they could come clean the bin. Our trash day was Thursday. They responded right away and said they'd have someone out on Friday. What great service! I was so happy that they came the next day. I have to say, this is the service you never knew you needed. I thought my husband was crazy when he started asking about getting our trash and recycle bins cleaned. Now I'm wondering why we didn't signup for this sooner! My bins are shiny, clean, and *gasp smell good! The service is incredibly easy to signup for and they take care of the rest. Whoever drives this company truck is an aggressive and unsafe driver. Was stuck behind them in a 30 car line in the Mopac toll lane at 9:30 on a Saturday because they wanted to drive slower than the flow of traffic in the non-toll lane. When a brief opportunity to pass came up, they stepped on the gas to swerve with no signal and cut off a sedan trying to pass them, almost causing a huge accident at high speeds. Have no idea why someone didn't think of this service years ago. Our trash cans get so nasty. Racoons are everywhere in our neighborhood and get in the trash bins, ripping open the trash bags to get at food and bringing roaches and other insects.
