I called him early this year and he was just as excited to work with me then as he was now (with an updated quote, of course.). Kade is a hands-own business owner and wants to see the jobs completed right, done to perfection. He is very knowledgeable on the products, do's and don'ts and will answer any questions you will have. The installer, Jimmy was prompt, courteous and was consultative with my wife and I on the mock up of how the opener would be mounted and answered questions we had. If you're concerned at the prospect of hiring someone who may have mutant superpowers, steer clear of Austin Entry, because their professionalism and expertise left us amazed. I'd tried fixing our LiftMaster sliding gate operator for several days before I finally broke down and called someone. Other companies said they didn't do gates, but Kade not only repairs them, he was some kind of supreme grand master of gate controllers. He was out the same day I called, diagnosed the problem mostly that day (came back the following to double-check), and had us up and running in no time. He gave small windows as to when he'd arrive, and always made it within them. He didn't mind me watching over his shoulder and asking annoying questions about how the gate worked. And he was just an even-keeled, friendly, knowledgable person. We're definitely going to use Austin Entry again when we decide to upgrade, or do any repairs. read more

We recently incurred some damage to our garage door, necessitating replacement of the top panel. Kade sent me a bid on Thumbtack and was fantastically responsive to all of my questions. I called Austin Entry after first calling Viking Fence; who wanted me to pay in advance, call a different number to set up a service ticket, and sign a legal service agreement with them before they would even come look at my auto gate. I decided NOT to go that route and called Austin Entry. I got prompt and knowledgeable service from their service technician, Kade. Who was able to contact the original manufacturer to troubleshoot and repair my gate and process the part under warranty. Very friendly, professional, and kept me informed the whole time. I have needed a new operator for our driveway swing gate for a year. Each time I talked to a company and got a bid I was discouraged. The prices were too high or the company charged for giving a bid. Then I found Austin Entry. Kade Broussard was just awesome. He came out, educated me about what I did and didn't need and gave me the first decent bid I had received. Must say I'm disappointed. Can't speak on their service quality because we didn't get that far. They came out to give me a bid on my gate that wasn't opening. Left me with a bid for THOUSANDS of dollars - telling me a motor was bad. Got a second opinion from a family friend.... it was a bad circuit board... total replacement cost plus labor: 600 dollars. My advice would be to get a second opinion always. Not sure if these guys knowingly tried to gouge me for money or just flat out didn't do their diagnostic job properly.... not sure what's worse. read more

We came to Austin Entry with a custom perf-steel gate project and are so happy we did. We LOVE our gate!! We are quite picky when it comes to design, and Kade's friendly manner and highly-detail-oriented attention led us to choose him over 4 or 5 other local companies. Not only was Austin Entry's bid a little bit more reasonable than the others, Kade was attentive and thorough​ right from the start, asking great questions and responding thoughtfully to our reference photos, even going out of his way to bring us sample materials and send us photos of a gate he'd seen while out driving that he thought we'd like. We just felt like he kept us and our project top-of-mind, which is pretty special when it comes to contractors. So it was an easy choice to hire him. Always 5 stars!! Austin Entry, Kade Broussard in particular, is a top notch company! Kade has taken care of my entry gate for over a year now. His quick responses are always so appreciated. He takes time to trouble shoot over the phone before actually setting up an appointment, and that in itself is so important for someone like me. He approaches each call as conservatively as he's able. When my gate had damage from a lightening strike I had to replace the electronics and arm. Kade made a great bid and was extremely professional in getting it taken care of asap. He also goes beyond just the norm, he even worked to get my old remotes to communicate with the new system. Kade spent time educating me on all things new. He was patient and very good at communicating the details that I needed to know. I have to comment on Kade's genuine kindness too, he's just a really good guy and I trust him and would highly recommend him to anyone!! I had a bad experience with another gate company who no-showed twice, then found Kade online. He was quick to respond, showed up when he said he would, then got my driveway gate back up and running. It later had unrelated issues and we replaced the ancient thing with a new LiftMaster (connected to control it via wifi from long distance!).
