I randomly choose this place to go try Salsa and Bachata last week!! And omg I loved it there. Instructors are super chill and fun! I felt welcome and learned slowly from the basic styling to few steps. There was a social dancing after the classes and we stayed there for a while to see other people dance and dance with them on a few songs. These was amazing. I've been going to Inspired Movement for about three years now. It's a great dance school, and it attracts a good community. I really appreciate an app to get class passes. Or you could pay cash at the door. The packages are a good deal. They bring in some really great instructors for a few different styles of dance. They have open four times to practice. And the Soundsystem and lights are good for socials. parking has never been an issue for me, but sometimes it gets pretty full. A friendly, fun, and beginner friendly environment for learning latin dance - I find myself constantly recommending this studio to everyone who is interested in learning latin dancing - Salsa, Bachata, Zouk they have it all. One of the most organized and well ran dance studios and instructions I've ever been to with amazing instructors. Unlike most smaller studios with only three levels of beginner / intermediate / advanced, they split out the levels into their 5/6 different belt levels so you never feel like it's too hard or too easy. This is such a fun place to go dancing for beginners and experienced dancers alike. On Tuesdays, they have salsa class at 7 pm, bachata class at 8:30 pm, and then social dancing 9:30 pm - 12:30 am. Their instructors are friendly and make it easy to follow along. I like that they have something for everyone, no matter your level of dance experience. Classes are split into subgroups based on knowledge and skill level of dance. The environment is very welcoming, especially for first-timers. Their "Day One" subgroup assumes no prior knowledge and does a great job at teaching the foundations. Their social is the perfect place to practice and dance with people of all levels. And you don't need to bring a partner to take a class; you'll get to dance with everyone in your subgroup. I wish I lived closer to this place because I would come every day. read more

I have taken both group and private bachata lessons with Cal, who is a phenomenal instructor. He makes the material easy to grasp, beyond the 1-2-3-4 and into the feel of the dance even for people like me who are analytical with two left feet. I went to my first Zouk lesson at Inspired Movement on Monday. Paul was a great teacher and worked us through four beginner steps, with the intention of moving us up to the intermediate level as quickly as possible. There was a 30-minute group warmup, then an hour of lessons, then two hours of free social dancing afterward. The lessons were broken up into beginner, intermediate, and advanced groups. Head teacher Favian made a point of welcoming my friend and I, who were both beginners, and encouraging us to dance with more advanced dancers during the social hours. I knew a few people there from other dance scenes, and also danced with a few strangers. My go-to line with the advanced dancers was "I know how to do four things. Want to practice them with me?" The answer was always "yes" and I left feeling pretty confident with what I had learned. Favian also gave a pointed and sensitive talk about social dance ettiquette, showing that he was serious about Inspired Movement being a respectful place that people wanted to keep coming back to. read more

We rented this space for my son's 7 yr old bday party. It was a dance party w adult beverages served and this venue was perfect. We had about 70 guests and the party was a lot of fun. Kids and parents had a good time. The staff was friendly and Jasmin was very accommodating. They have dance floor lights and a nice sound system too. They even have tables and chairs if you need. Everyone at the studio was very welcoming, and the teachers were so thorough and encouraging in teaching the choreography. I felt very comfortable attending as a single woman, and I appreciated that the instructors emphasized that you can execute all the sexy bachata moves while being respectful of your partner's body. Great instruction - they keep it challenging but grounded in basics from which to build. Socials are such a great idea to combine with the classes. The community that comes here is serious about dance but with a healthy attitude that "it's just dance" - in other words we have a realistic perspective in that none of us are going out on auditions daily and have to get that next gig to put food on the table. The instructors were very patient with me and separated everyone into groups based on their dance level.
