5 stars is an understatement! This is place is like a million stars. Veronica was a gift from the…read moreuniverse, she was able to do more for me in one hour than I've gotten from years of personal efforts. Veronica ended up being one of the best pole instructors I've ever experienced. She was so fast to connect to me and my goals and understood instantly my ability and previous experience on the pole and in dance. She then was able to teach the techniques she laid out for me in a way she knew I needed to learn them, and installed the exact concepts and methods she knew I needed for were I wanted to go. Unlike many other experiences with classes and studios, this experience left me feeling like I just walked out with a super charged download of pole skills versus the usual feeling of wasted time and little progress I've felt with other trainings. The studio itself is set up so perfectly too. The whole design and layout of the dance room is really interesting bc it's so warm inviting and elegant yet intimate and professional at the same time. Every little detail of the whole studio is done to perfection. It's hard to say something new about a studio that literally has so many five star reviews to its name, but honestly I would just say that for anyone who wants the hands down best pole dance training of their life needs to set this studio and the incredible Veronica as a priority number one to come and experience for yourself.

For most of the class she was just showing us different moves to do on the pole and then telling us to just put it all together into our own routine. Which when you're starting from ground zero, with no prior pole knowledge, can be difficult. Something i would have appreciated is learning some kind of routine that's more structured since it was a beginner workshop. It would have given the people in the class something to work toward while in the class, then we could have preformed it at the end and taken a video to show off what we learned. Over all the class was fun and the studio was beautiful i just felt like more structure would have been nice for a beginner level class package.

I…read moredidn't know what to expect when seeing pole dancing as part of our itinerary then driving into a sketchy-looking plaza near the freeway.. but who knew behind those tinted windows were 90 mins of fun?! The place is covid-friendly and clean. When you first enter, they will ask to take your temperature, ask you to sign a waiver, and remove your shoes before going past the blue curtains where the poles are. Alcohol & towels are provided to you for sanitizing your poles or to make the sweat go away. Our instructor was by the stage name Zifatigg Bonbon. She was funny, professional, and very sweet! She encouraged us to go at our own place, would re-review any moves if we didn't understand it, and taught us how to move our gluteus Maximus muscles - which blew my mind by the way!! We also had the chance to perform for each other with Zifatigg guiding the way and throw some dolla billz ;) I came out bruised and sore all over, but it was definitely fun that it has me considering taking classes back home! I have a newfound respect for pole dancers and honestly, I see it like art now. I definitely recommend Brass Ovaries (ask for Zifatigg!), especially for bachelorette parties!

Now mind you, this ain't ya' mama's pole and dance studio! It is so much more. If you want to feel the technical *perfection* of being a pole ballerina, this may not be the place (however Pole Virgins and Pole Harlots with Ruby will give you some really good technical tips). However, in my opinion, this space IS the best place to start your pole/sensual dance journey. You can always learn technicality, but here is where you can learn to love how you move... HOWEVER you move. It is where you can unleash what you were taught to hold inside, and where you can free your emotions- all of them within a safe space and a safe community. From freestyle classes, slow and sensual teachings, and member events, this is the place to fall back in love with yourself- and you deserve that. PS, Minx+Muse is still its own entity and is hosting a fully online membership that you can check that out as well (:

I was really impressed by the facilities and layout of the place-- much larger on the inside than it looked on the outside. There was the large dance area with mirrored wall, plenty of folding chairs we could use, a large lobby with places to sit and wait for the previous class to finish up, even a quiet booth on the far side, and a little nook with a fridge and microwave. The fun-colored neon lighting was a nice visual touch, coupled with the ability to play music on the sound system really set the mood! The owner was very helpful about making us feel welcome, getting us set up, and letting us know where everything was and how to use the facilities. The only two things that could have been better were the cramped parking lot with limited spaces, and the single occupant bathroom. It was a really nice bathroom, but there was only the one so it caused a wait to use it. Would definitely rent this space again!!

So why does the website have you select a class, lead you to believe you're paying for it, and show you enrolled? Maddening. I was always so interested in taking a class but always thought the website was absurd. I now have to make sure money isn't taken out of my account, and I don't show as a no- show for a class I wasn't welcomed to join. I was so looking forward to a great dance experience. What a disappointment.

I was just stunned to be honest and didn't know who she was until she cut up ahead and I saw her. It was none other than the lady that literally owed me a $200 refund for selling me a 10 class pass for pole lessons WHICH SHE NO LONGER OFFERED. How can you forcefully cut someone in line (Who does that?!) who you also have stolen money from? Insane and biggest coincidence ever. Then again, I see she's stolen money from many people, refusing to give a refund, so for her to bump into one of them isn't actually unlikely. Thankfully, my bank agreed with me that she was in the wrong and took my $200 back from her, returning it to me. Do not do business with this self-centered, RUDE, and greedy human.

I was TERRIFIED to go to my first class, as I was not a gym-goer and my running punchline was that I "didn't know what the inside of a gym looked like." Getting started in the fitness community is overwhelming and so many gyms are pretentious and require you to know a lot about fitness before you go! Luckily for me as a first-timer to a workout class, that is not at all how fitcidence is. I was greeted kindly, everything was explained to me, the attendees and instructors were equally kind and modifications were offered. Cut to two years later and now I workout 4-5x per week and am a founding member of the new space at Fitcidence! I have made some of my best friends in Austin here and will always continue to go to their classes. I am so much more confident (in the gym and in general) and feel so much healthier. I really need to do cardio because I have high cholesterol and cardio is one of the best things for it and fitcidence is the only place I've been where cardio is FUN! If you're hesitating, just do it. You'll be happy you did!
