New players should stay away unless you make a Navy team or above to improve your players and feel appreciated otherwise you're just the low level team/ players paying dues to support the levels above like the White level, they have no resources, no goalies for White, rotating coaches and no player development to move up (they just do a few drills and scrimmage). Sorry to say this but future players take note. Navy or above or move on. We're moving on to an organization that supports all players and levels. I wish I was writing a more positive review but this is true.

There is an online training, an in-person option to learn coaching skills, and a concussion/safety training, plus an app/resources for planning practices and drills. (It sounds like a lot but was manageable and what you want from a coach teaching your child!) I really liked the experience overall and found the league was well run and communication was good. Families and other coaches were very friendly and it felt like the type of league I played in as a kid for 12+ years-- well organized practices, actual games on the weekends, etc. The emphasis really is on teaching kids strong basics but also having fun (they remind the coaches of that many times!). I looked into other leagues, and was wary of reviews that said some teams in other leagues didn't really play real games and it's more instructional than a league (I9). Lonestar seemed like a good option for more intensive soccer (some options for more than 1 practice a week) but other than that seemed similar so we're sticking with NASA for now and are excited for a second year.

The…read morefacilities, location and -- most of all -- the coaches and instructors are exactly what I was hoping to find for my nearly-7-year-old son. I saw an ad in the Community Impact for the 180 Performance Center "Youth Summer Baseball Camp", and signed my son up for a week in late-July, 2022. He had an absolutely awesome experience! There were 3 coaches for roughly 20 kids; everyone got plenty of individual attention; and I could see a quantifiable improvement in my son's skills and confidence each and every day. Here's what was most impressive about the coaches: they reward EFFORT just as much (if not more) as results. Even if the kids made an error, the coaches were quick to praise the work they put into trying to get it right. It cannot be overstated how important that is to me -- and to every kid, really. I was lucky enough to play professional football in my heyday, and -- even though I don't know the first thing about baseball -- I do have the luxury of perspective that young athletes don't have. All of the coaches and instructors have professional and/or college experience; they know what it takes. Instilling the mindset of "always trying to get it right instead of always being right" is so vital to sports development, and life-in-general development. It's the practice, the homework, the chores, the manners -- the things they don't give you a trophy for -- that lay the foundation for a good life. It's apparent that 180 Performance Center and True Grind Systems was founded on this credo. One of the founders and owners I had the pleasure of meeting, Mr. Tom Snell, epitomizes this mindset, and only hires instructors and coaches that share that mindset. It's the perfect place for my son to develop as an athlete and as a human being; my only regret is that I didn't find this place sooner. If you're a parent or player who has seen too many coaches fixated on "winning-at-all-costs" instead of stressing development and fundamentals, then you know exactly what I'm talking about. Small soccer clubs have a tough road in this market. Without a massive recreational program to sift for players, Forza's competitive teams must be painstakingly built, player by player and recruit by recruit. The coaches and teaching framework are world-class, so individual players will find a great environment to grow soccer technical skills along with crucial life skills. After our discussion we selected the perfect size hoop for our driveway without overbearing the curb appeal of the house. His team was out to our home the next business day to install the anchor. Once that had cured, our new hoop was installed. It looks like a professional court in my driveway and as if the concrete base was always there. It blends in perfectly with the driveway. As for the hoop, its fully adjustable, powder coat painted, padded, and totally awesome. The hoop is top quality and looks like it'll last for years to come.
