More than anything, the coaches make soccer FUN! My son always has a smile on his face, gives his best effort, and is excited to come back. They keep the younger kids engaged, focused, and hold them to a high standard; but they do so while keeping it fun. Compared to my son's club practices and other training sessions, nobody keeps him as engaged and in love with playing as 1A does. I think the technical trainings are fantastic and have seen his skills improve with each session. 1 hour spent at 1A gives him THOUSANDS of quality touches, reps, and skills he can take back to the field. An hour here is better than 2 weeks of training with his club. He absolutely loves the winter, spring break, and summer half-day camps and it is his top choice whenever we ask him what camps he wants to do. The facility is great as well, with a nice lounge area where parents can work or watch their kids. It's indoors, which is a huge plus... never any cancellations due to weather and a great way to continuing training, even during the brutally hot summer months.

Sorry to say this but future players take note. Navy or above or move on. We're moving on to an organization that supports all players and levels. Constructive criticism is not the culture here but instead the owner Paige allows the coaches to do or say whatever they want to these children. Good luck trying to reach her because she takes days to reply to emails and can hardly be found in the office at the gym. Don't let your child be on the same level as her daughter because your child will always be yelled at by coaches even if it's her daughters mistake. Which brings me to favoritism. Coaches give seniority to the children who are paying them on the side for private lessons. This gym will state many things in their long contract but they pick and choose who they want to hold accountable to it. Majority of parents will have to buy practice wear at over $200 but some parents can choose it as optional while others are told it's mandatory. Favoritism can be conditioning for petty little things like bows, some girls can wear whatever bow they want and its ok. Others are made to condition for not wearing the practice bow. That goes for being late too. If your not on their good side they will take it out on your child. If you show up late your child is retaliated against and you will see other parents arrive late consecutively but those children are not ridiculed or embarrassed in front of the whole team. This gym loves to win even though this is not always the case. When TXPA loses they verbally abuse the team even if it is the coaches fault for coaching them incorrectly i.e. to do a stunt that was wrong because they did not have a back spot or doing a stunt that's not on their skill level. This gym says they want to be the best and it states in their contract that your child will be removed if they cannot meet the skill level required. This is not the case. You will pay them thousands of dollars for your child while you witness some girls not being able to do a back walk over or front walk over IN COMPETITON SEASON. I pulled my child a week before summit. Yes granted they received a summit bid because the team that won 1st place had already received a bid and the bid went to the next highest scoring team (TXPA). I was hesitant from the start because immediately after they won the bid they brought down girls from level 2 and 3. They used the excuse that we can do whatever we want and take whomever we want to summit. I pulled my child because she took a flight class, tumble class, was a flier all season and helped win that bid but a week before summit they brought down another girl. My daughter came out crying because she said they put her in the back to stand there while all the other girls that moved down were put in an elite. They did this to multiple girls and they do not see anything wrong to this because they want to win at any cost even if it makes the original girls of the team that won the bid feel like an alternate or not good enough because they are being replaced by girls from a higher level. Paige didn't like my text to the coach stating everything above and on "group me" to the parents so she told us to not return next season. Which of course that's a no brainer. I don't want to give this business thousands of dollars for my daughter to stand in the back because you want to bring down girls from a higher level that didn't win a bid at all and replace the girls that worked since summer to win the bid. And don't try to speak to these coaches or Paige because there's an excuse for every action even though they contradict everything they say or what's written in their contract. When they first started they were a really good gym but one of the coaches that helped them win all those champions has left to another gym. So many people left for reasons such as the contract and because of the other coaches departure. Oh and I left out the "clique" of moms...different cliques. It's like high school all over again. I don't know if some live their dream out through their daughter or if they really just have no life. They love to sit/stand around and gossip about each other or portray themselves as better because of their financial status. p.s Two comments left below are from the owner and the director's mother who organizes the hotels for the gym with housing connection. I would say my business or the place I work for is great too if I was writing a review. I am so glad to be done with TXPA. Cheers!

From the moment we enrolled our child, we felt the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care from the entire team. The owners, teachers, and staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and it's so clear that every decision they make is rooted in supporting each child's well-being and developmental growth. One of the things that stands out most is their dedication to nurturing children's natural curiosity. They create an environment where exploration and discovery are not just encouraged--they're celebrated. It's amazing to see how engaged the kids are every day, and as a parent, it's such a relief to know your child is in a place that values their individuality and creativity. We have to give a special shoutout to Ms. Yvette and Ms. Melva in the infant class. These two wonderful teachers are truly a gift. Their love, patience, and attentiveness shine through in everything they do. They're also professional task jugglers and should teach a masterclass on how to attend to multiple babies at the same time. For instance, Ms. Yvette is especially impressive with how seamlessly she handles task switching--whether she's feeding one baby or capturing a sweet moment of another, she never misses a beat. Ms. Melva on multiple occasion seamlessly feed multiple babies at the same time. It's remarkable how Ms. Melva and Ms. Yvette are able to juggle so many responsibilities while always staying present and cheerful with the kids. We can tell that this is not just another for-profit daycare/school, and that the owners as well as staff really do enjoy being around children, taking care of them, and supporting their growth and development. It's evident through Ms. Prasanthi and Mr. Ashok and the entire staff's interaction with every child that entered the school door, and it's most apparent through Ms. Prasanthi's ability to remember every child's name in the school as well as greeting them with a warm smile and little details about their lives. They do offer tumbling classes even if you aren't on a cheer team and the pricing is very competitive with local gyms. As far as the cheer teams you have to try out around April for the season that runs the entire next basically school year so if you miss that you pretty much have that year to get ready for tryouts for the next year. I hate to give 4 stars BUT I know, or I hope, that I will get to write an update For 5 stars when they move to their NEW location in Hutto behind the Lowes. So... the 4 stars, the viewing area and entry area are so small, there are SO many kids and parents that all arrive at the same time and it's our chaos. The kids for safety reasons need to wait until their class starts to go into the gym so it's very tight, especially when one class is letting out while the other is waiting to go in. But truly has nothing to do with the quality of the program it's just a pain. There are some people that I see even bring their own chairs just so they have a place to sit. But as I stated there is a new location in the works I'm sure they have a grand plan for this issue and I look forward to updating my review when we move to their big beautiful new gym. My other reasons for 4 stars would just be the inconsistencies in the coaching staff. It seems like there are new coaches in the tumbling class every week and my daughter has to explain she knows how to do something each week so she doesn't regress. She's small so they assume she can't do something, so at water break I have to tell her to tell them to let her do it. There are a few coaches that go well above and beyond though and remember every single girl and they must have 1000 girls there. Natalie, Paige, Tour, Chamie, Bella, so many favorites.... One I feel so bad I don't know her name but she's a huge advocate for my kids to get pushed and moved into new levels. They also offer private lessons with their coaches so if your kid needs extra help with tumbling, flying skills etc the rates are very fair for that as well.
