We had been a patient for years & suddenly got a $37 additional charge I didn't recognize, so I called. They said they would ask the dr why & call me back. They never did & a few months later I got a bill. I called & they said they sent a certified letter (which felt crazy). I never received this letter & they couldn't find my signature or any proof. They said it must have been lost. I asked why they never called or emailed like they do for everything else - they had no answer. I didn't like this situation now, it was very fishy - but went ahead and paid that $37 just to end the madness. Fast forward to this morning- my child was very ill - I called & talked to their nurse who said they needed to get in urgently - to scheduling before confirming the appointment they brought on a manager who said they decided that day I paid that $37 to allow my kids 30 more days of access & then refuse to treat us. She admitted they never told me of this 30 day deadline & that she was a recent hire & the old team left. I told her I didn't think I could even get my child into another doctor so quickly so she said she would ask if they could make an exception right then to do an appointment at this urgent time and she would call me back. She NEVER called back! This is UNBELIEVABLE, ILLEGAL & grossly IMMORAL to refuse to see a child patient (with no notice) because of a cheap clerical error that they admitted to! This left me with no option but expensive urgent care! I'm looking into taking further action now. If anybody wants to put this story in a movie or anything, I have actual proof to back it up I don't think anyone should trust them with their children or money. Even if you've been a loyal customer for years- watch out- apparently they don't care. Do not support this dishonest practice!

I cannot recommend Dr. Van highly enough. I've never felt more comfortable with medical care/advice for my two children than i did with her. High EQ, super high IQ + data driven, and just cares about the wellbeing of the kids she sees. Not going to lie, our first appointment was borderline intimidating -- Dr. Van can sometimes speak fast, and drops a lot of knowledge on you in a very short period of time. But, she is extremely thorough and her standard of care is top notch -- exactly what your children deserve to help them thrive! I now have an even greater appreciation for this as we moved and had to switch providers multiple times. Sadly, I have yet to find someone that I feel is a thorough and knowledgeable as Dr. Van. I see some negative reviews about the office. But frankly, I never really had any issues on that front. and even if I did, I'd still recommend you run to Bee Well.

Unable to see a child in pain and experts in bad behavior towards parents scheduled an appointment for 11:30 AM. It was entered in their system as 11:15, and I -- the parent who booked it -- never received a confirmation. We arrived three minutes past the grace period for a time we hadn't agreed to, and our sick toddler was refused care. My child was in visible pain with a worsening infection and was never assessed or even looked at. No other physician was offered, no referral, no urgent-care suggestion. The front desk and office manager spent the time arguing with us about the clock rather than showing any concern for the sick child in front of them. This wasn't a one-off. Getting a timely sick visit with the MD has consistently been difficult, despite the practice advertising same-day sick visits. Zero compassion. If you need a pediatrician who will actually see your child when they're sick, look elsewhere. We've moved our care.

Paying an ongoing fee for limited access did not feel reasonable or transparent. Second, the front desk staff was consistently condescending and dismissive. Communication felt frustrating instead of supportive, which is especially disappointing when dealing with your children's healthcare. Lastly, when we requested our children's medical records, we were initially told it would take 4-6 weeks, despite the legal requirement being 2 weeks. After pushing back, we were then told the records would be sent "tomorrow" -- which happened to be day 14, the last day allowed. This felt unnecessarily difficult and unprofessional. Overall, we did not feel valued as patients and the administrative experience overshadowed the care. We ultimately decided to transfer to another provider and hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.

I have a sick child that I wanted to be seen, but they refused to see him because he's not vaccinated. We have chosen to wait on his vaccines because we have a family history of serious reactions to vaccinations. They didn't bother to ask me why he wasn't, only refused me service. They were very rude and also completely unable to provide a legitimate reason for refusing medical care due to vaccination status. They said, "Because that's the way Dr. Reidy wants it." If you're a fan of being shamed for your medical choices, you'll feel at home here. These people have no tolerance for free thinking, research minded folks who choose to take their medical decisions into their own hands. If you're a fan of blindly obeying a doctor who makes decisions on treatment without asking questions and considering all of the circumstances, then, by all means, take your child here and pray the doctor makes the correct "guess" to treat your child.
