Needed service for my Stihl string trimmer…read more Came in, met Ira the Stihl whisperer and ordered some parts. Parts arrived in a few days. Ira requested that I bring my device in for a check-up. Gave my trimmer a thorough check (set the valves, checked compression checked grease level etc.). Ira expertly installed some of the parts I ordered but after the inspection Ira determined that not all of the parts I ordered were needed. Cost for inspection, parts installation and parts I ordered but didn't use? 0 dollars! Other small engine repair places would have no doubt charged a pretty penny for the inspection and parts installation and probably the parts I didn't need- when was the last time someone in the repair business told you didn't need to spend money on a repair? Refreshing to meet someone in the service industry that is more than competent, candid and honest.

I typically really like all Ace Hardware stores - locally owned, smaller store, helpful employees,…read more etc. I had a one off experience today where I called the plumbing department. A young man put me on hold for 30 minutes and never came back to let me know if he had anything that would fit what I was looking for. He just never came back. Let me repeat: HE NEVER CAME BACK. I called back after 30 minutes and the lady who answered put me on hold, but came back within a few minutes to say: "He said that nothing we have fits." Why he left me hanging for 30 minutes was unacceptable.

They have the MOST gorgeous Easter display of any store, along with a sweet selection of merchandise! I enjoy just walking around this store and seeing what unique items they have for your home. Sure wish the people were friendlier and cared more about helping the customer. Oh well that's kind of the way the world is these days! I bought a good amount of merchandise but something i took home did not work and had to return it. This return didn't work in my favor, turns out the customer is not as important as that extra dollar even if you are the one inconvenienced. That being said I still enjoy walking around the inside of this store.

Right now they are decorated for Christmas and the store looks amazing. There are some great decorating ideas here and the products are high quality. I have noticed some things go really fast, so if you see something you like ... grab it. One half of the store are hardware items where carry items not found at the big box stores like the Big Green Egg. The other half is home essentials and changed out for all the seasons. The back has a small gardening area. The whole store was very clean and organized. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you sign up for Ace Rewards then some nice perks.

Great little hometown hardware store. The staff always greet you with a hello and what can we help…read moreyou with. The selection is about the same as Homedepot or Lowes just instead of having 100 boxes of something they have 2 or 3 on the self (I think this makes it easier to find and compare what you need then having a 20ft tall rack to sort through). The prices are about the same on most items. Actually on the screws and fasteners I find Keith to be a little less on the higher quality stuff. I have gotten to the point that I buy all my hardware at Keith's before I go to get building material some place else. Again this is due to the better quality of the hardware at a more affordable price. As far as covenant. I can go online and see if they have something in the store before I stop on my way home just like the bigger stores.

I was torn between the different models. I knew I wanted a Traeger but which one? The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. It was an enjoyable experience and I now own a new Traeger Pellet Grill. If you need anything, go here. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This is a great place. The Kids workshops are held the 3rd Saturday of every month and are almost always located in the lumber department. Staff was kind and friendly and was patient to remove some nails for us (we accidentally nailed incorrectly oops). There weren't many people there when we went so we just had them check us in via a signup sheet print out and walked to our spot. There were hammers, hard hats and safety goggles at each station. They put planks on top of several small stacks of 5 gallon buckets so its easier to hammer nails in (no putting your craft on the floor to hammer!!). It is also well-lit. Love that Lowe's holds this monthly activity and cant wait to come back next month!!

They come and measure, and give me an estimate to have laminate flooring installed. I sign the contract and put it on my Lowe's credit card. Before Service Pros can begin, they call me for another $50something to paint the goddamned base board. I'm itching to get this done, so I angrily pay it so we can move forward. The day before the installation, the installer drops off the materials. While he's here he says that he'd like to sand and epoxy the floor to be perfectly level. So I say, okay, do what you gotta do. What he didn't tell me was that it was going to cost an extra $545.xx to get it done. They come in, sand down the floor, and stop working. They DID NOT tell me about these add-ons on the initial estimate, which is some piss-poor service in my opinion. Shame on Lowe's for setting me up with these clowns. Proceed with caution.
