I came back here to get the windshield film that blocks 99% UV light. I made an appointment through Yelp messaging again and service was just as great as last time! Peter is so friendly and did an amazing job! My main concern was that I had registration stickers on my windshield, but he removed them before putting on the film and then stuck my stickers back on with Sticker Shield, which makes the sticker movable and doesn't leave any sticky residue! He even gave me the rest of the Sticker Shield pack he used for when I get new stickers. I dropped my car off and walked to Bun Belly for lunch and then chilled at Sa-Ten before walking back to pick up my car. It took about 2 hours! I recently moved to Texas and wanted to get my windows tinted darker as well as with heat protection. I got several quotes from highly rated places and Austin Tint's was one of the most competitive. Where do I start? Peter, the owner, is a customer service oriented business person. He was super patient with me each time i've been here. I've gotten 2 vehicles taken care of by him and each time he acted as if it was my 1st time to visit his shop. Peter at Austin Tint is one of the best kept secrets of the greater Austin area. After years and multiple vehicles being tinted by one of the best in Central Texas, I moved to Austin and found Peter. He is professional, courteous, very detail oriented, and meticulous about his work. I am very particular about the look, blend, and quality of my tint. It can make or break the appearance of your vehicle. Peter helped me make the appropriate decision on both a 2018 Silverado and a 2017 Tahoe. He stands behind the warranty as well. On the Tahos the CIR film dried a little lighter than I preferred and Peter met me after hours to strip and retint the windows with the CXP film that has a more black appearance on the glass. He explained the heat properties of each and I was in and out in a little over an hour. In my experiences with Peter I have NEVER found what is called a finger or trash in the film.
