Had my car windows with SUNTEK ceramic window film 35% and clear Coolsight 90 clear windshield film about 45 days ago. Peter did a fantastic job, answered all of my questions and even provided a pack of Sticker Shields which allows your registration sticker and toll tag to be used on the clear film of the windshield. Peter even stayed a little late as I was delayed due to traffic to pick up my vehicle. The SunTek film has been outstanding in heat reduction especially on the dash and do not need to turn on the a.c. on our 70+° days we have had this winter. I was new to Austin and had just bought a brand new black Honda Civic which of course gets really hot in the summer heat. I asked around and a friend recommended Austin Tint. I called Peter who was able to get me in that weekend. I knew nothing about tint since I'm from the north and no one does that in Vermont. It seems almost all the reviews I take the time to write are pretty positive, five star reviews. It occurs to me this could make look like a paid shill. I promise I am not. Perhaps I need to go some place that sucks, and write some low star review to balance things out. At any rate, Austin Tint DOES NOT suck. These dudes are great. If you call, they will take the time to chat with you, explain options, and maybe even quote you a special. Oh, and get this, they actually honor the phone quote. No upselling, no "well, we didn't realize how tough your car's angles are." None of that. Just honesty, and friendly service. The day I showed up for my appointment, we looked at various tint options just to make sure I was comfortable with my choices. They have very decent wi-fi in their waiting room area, so I was able to actually do some work while they applied the tint. This place was great! In January I called for pricing/info on the various types of tint film. They took the time to answer my questions and even suggested I come by to look at the film prior to scheduling (which I chose not to do as I knew the brand quality already). On the morning of my appointment I was greeted quickly and they reconfirmed the material and shade. Then...they actually drove me home so I wouldn't have to wait at the shop! By lunch time the were finished and on the way to pick me up. The car looked amazing. The film was cut perfectly and applied flawlessly. After calling many of the stores in Austin, Peter not only quoted me on a really good deal for ceramic tint. He took the time to go over the differences over the phone since I didn't really know what I was doing. I had my 2013 Mini Cooper all around with CIR 30%. Peter was really friendly&helpful, and he did a great job. The pricing and the product quality was excellent. Be careful with some other shops that provide incorrect information on products. Austin TInt was my top choice, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. On a whim, having been close by, I had gotten an estimate from another company of $409 for ceramic tint for my Nissan 370Z. Knowing that Austin Tint had advertised $240 for the same thing, I thanked the salesman and walked away. Peter was very knowledgeable - explaining the differences in tint options, explaining how the 35% law worked, and basically informing us of our options.
