My girls took me to Thunder From Down Under for night 1 of my bachelorette and it was THE BEST time. We sat front row right in the center and it was soooo worth it. The guys are so entertaining and you can tell they work really hard to give the best performance. It was soooo much fun with the girls, and as someone who's a little less ok with being touched and got pulled to dance - it was actually OK! I was not one of the girls on stage (but it was so fun watching them!) and got to do a little dance for one of the boys. Definitely a night we will never forget. Thanks so much boys! read more

I attended this show with a bit of a discount at around $50 per person. I don't think I'd pay much more for it, since these were not professional dancers by all means, but we had a great time. If I was laughing, it was mostly because the men were so out of synch with each other while dancing but it was still very fun. We were seated in the second row of tables but up at the front of our second row, which was a perfect place to be for more dancer interaction. We were an odd group - one straight woman, a gay man and two straight men, all dressed very casually compared to all the well dressed bachelorette parties... bu I (the woman) got plenty of attention, including some chest time with three of the men. My friend behind me got a groin to the face which he may be traumatized for life with. Overall, it was a very fun, raunchy time. I'd liken it to drag show equivalent for a straight woman audience. Some of the audience humping made me a little concerned about consent and what women were signing up for in raising their hands, but I do think if you absolutely refused to go up, they would honor that (if you don't want any attention, sit inside the tables). There was a meet and greet and dance party afterwards at the bar just outside the theater. This was a blast. Just a ton of women dancing and having fun with their friends, which I appreciated. If you're looking for a fun(ny) night out, I'd give these guys a visit. There is a guy for everyone, including ones doing dances to middle school butt rock! But don't drag your straight males friends and partners here unless they're 100% into it, I think they'll have a bad time. read more

Had an amazing time! This was a spur of the moment decision and great treat from my sister. We had such a great time. Even though we know it's a show and the men are performing, they still know how to make each woman feel like the performance is just for them. The host/mc of the night was amazing! He's absolutely hilarious and knows how to keep the crowd going. At the end of the show, we get to take our photos, I initially wanted the eff you to the ex photo but got placed for one of the others, the gentleman who was printing the photos (I believe his name is Ryan) was able to help me when I mentioned I didn't get the pose I wanted. Ryan basically told me, "Oh no honey, we get what we want here," & he brought me back up on stage and I got to re take the photo with the pose I wanted and it was fabulous! The host made multiple comments about how the room was empty, so they were doing something different. I've now seen this show twice pre-covid & just last week. Both times were very different experiences, obviously the pre-covid one being way better, but I'll breakdown both. Regardless, lets be honest though, guys with accents you just can't stay away. This one is pretty interactive in the sense that they do dance on your tables & interact with the audience near & far. The Costume changes are great, satisfying every girls fantasy. The guys are great dancers & well the bodies do keep your attention. People do get chosen to go on the stage & at the end of the show you can pay to take photos with them. The guys are actually really friendly as compared to some of the others. They try to interact with everyone no matter how far away you're sitting to make sure everyone has a good time. Fast forward to COVID times, masks & social distancing. It was definitely a different experience this time around especially when I knew how it was before. The guys were wearing masks, except when they spoke individually. Such a bummer as you can't really see their face. I know, they are just following the rules set in place which I respect. Also, I feel like there were less of them performing & the show seemed shorter? They do bring people on stage & but it's not as raunchy as I remember & they don't interact with the audience or dance on your tables. Of course all because of the whole social distancing thing. I was brought here for my bachelorette party and WOW. Lmao! That was seriously so so so cheesy. It reminded me of choreographed dances that I used to do in drill team. I found myself shaking my head a couple of times because I couldn't believe what was happening in front of my eyes. It was FUN! Don't get me wrong! I've been to Vegas several times but didn't have the nerve to go a show til now and now I wonder why it took me so long. Oh yes, that's right, I was never going to be prepared for all of the outback. The show was super fun and if you're asking yourself if you should go, the answer is YES! Do it and you won't regret it. You get some dancin', some strippin', and a lot of OMG moments. Aside from the ridiculously good looking guys all around you, I loved the emcee we had for the night, Marcus! He was amazing and really made the show! The show consisted of dances, solo dances where they select a lucky lady in the crowd and give her some special attention ;) , and crowd engagement where they call people on stage for some games. The guys not only perform on the stage but walk/run/dance out on all the tables during the show and try to give attention everywhere as best they can. If you're seated at the very front at the VIP tables then you'll get more attention from them. If you do not want to be touched then I suggest not sitting in the front. I went with 6 girls and 1 guy (yes, he's straight) and we ALL had such a blast! Highly recommend checking the show out at least once ;) Tips: - have $20 per person ready if you want a picture at the end of the show. At the end of the show, you get a chance to take picture with the cast and they'll print the picture out for you to keep forever! you can also email yourself a digital copy. - ladies! wear shorts underneath your dresses if you want to be worry free of exposing anything unless you don't care then go wild! These boys showed us no love. Most of the crowd was white. Our group was all Asian and Mexican and they avoided us. None of them danced with us. They all only danced with all the white chicks. We were completely neglected the entire 90 minutes. So disappointing. None of us will ever come back or recommend to friends. They wouldn't even walk on our table or invite us on stage like all the other groups. It was like ghost town on our table. Not cool. We all spent $150 per person to feel neglected. So in April of last year, one of my best friends was engaged to be married. He was a guy marrying a guy, so a huge band of his friends (probably 15-20 of us) headed to Thunder Down Under. There are many parts of the show that involve pulling a participant from the audience to be "turned on" by the Thunder guys. Every single time, they chose a chick. We were motioning and yelling like crazy trying to get them to pick my friend, and they ignored us every time. After the same chick got pulled up THREE times, I went up to one of the workers with a headset. I pointed out my friend and said he's engaged, this is his bachelor party, and no guys have gotten pulled up. Could he be picked? The girl with the headset responded, "They will never pull up a guy." Shocked, I said, "Seriously?? NEVER?" And she shrugged and said, "I've been working here a long time. They've never pulled a guy." That is some heteronormative bullshit right there. I thought I left a review a year ago, but I'm back in Vegas, saw the TDU sign, and realized I never posted. So...if you are looking for an LGBT friendly bachelor party, steer clear. And Thunder Down Under, it's 2019. In Vegas. Get it together. I may be straight, but I only frequent establishments that treat the LGBTQ community as equals. You should too, even if you are straight. The show itself was very fun and exciting. The guys go all throughout the crowd and try to engage with the crowd whenever possible. There was no "nudity" only butts. I didn't think they were all cute but they definitely had at least one person for everyone in their cast. The host was great and even ended up being part of the show. The drinks were meh and the theatre is smaller that what I expected. The drink line was long before the show so make sure to plan ahead. The tables are sooo close together so be prepared for a tight squeeze. Thankfully the table behind me wasn't completely sold out so I still had some wiggle room. Went to this ow several years back and it was excellent. came again this past Friday and was disappointed. This show has gone down hill. Dancers are not in sync, have low energy, and lack interaction with the audience. I see that the response from the business is that "they are not professional dancers and they are just having fun." Consumers are not Paying 100+ dollars for a low budget and low energy performance. Will not return and would not recommend. Still Smiling Days Later My daughter and I went to the July 21, 2022, 9pm show, and just had a ball, pun intended. So many attractive men in one place. I was lucky to get pulled up on stage at the end by the emcee, who made a 65 year old woman's night by, among other playful things, slow dancing with me. I can't remember the last time a man asked me to slow dance, let alone a young, handsome one. He was such a gentleman too, and held my hand down the stairs so I wouldn't fall. Finally, I know they say tips aren't required...but during the show, I tipped everyone I could, including the emcee, and from the cheek kisses I received, know they appreciated it. Came here for a bachelorette party and this was an amazing fun time!!!! We were at table 24/25 and it was a pretty decent view. We were in the middle so that was totally fine!! These Australian men were HOT HOT HOT!! It is pretty funny because they seriously could not dance but you definitely could not keep your eyes off of them. They interacted with the audience a lot. They grabbed a few bachelorettes to get on the stage and definitely did their business by grinding on you and shaking their junk in your face!! The best part about it was my friend got picked and there was a competition between 3 girls. Ready to hear what they had to do??? The boys always walk around the audience to find volunteers to get on stage with them! My friend and I got picked and we were soo shy! I went on stage and got T-bagged! =X 4. Finally went again after a few years break and their temporary theater kinda ruined it for me. If this is your first time seeing a male revue or from a sexually repressed part of the world then this is a good introduction to this type of show. Its far from the best, but better than Chippendales. They play the same music and share many scenes with Chippendales BUT the dancing is better. The men are nice to look at but they all start to look similar which isnt the case in other male revue shows. If youre buying tickets for any shows in Summer of 2019 be sure to get VIP seats as that is where most of the action took place and the guys will likely stand on your table. If you get GA youll be on the side and someones head will likely be in your way. Terrible seats. Their new theater should be done in July or August 2019 so hopefully the theater layout will be better. If you want a more engaging male revue try Magic Mike, Black Magic Live or Aussie Heat.
