I went to the Thunder From Down Under show last Friday night with one of my girlfriends who was in town visiting me. We had seats #1 and 2 in the very front middle of the room and let me tell you they were so worth it. We had an absolute blast! We loved every minute of it. We were bummed we were told we couldn't take pics or video upon our arrival. BUT, we were thrilled they allowed us to take them out during one song. So so amazing!!! The guys make their way around the room throughout the show so it seemed like those seated in the back or middle of the room got plenty to see up close too. Overall, I thought it was fun, sexy and VERY entertaining. Zac (in the pic) was our absolute fave!!!! Wowza!!! I've seen the Magic Mike show in Vegas too, and this was so much better, in my opinion. What a fantastic time, it was the highlight on my bachelorette party! My entire bridal party believed the same as well. We purchased our tickets as a package through Vegas Girls Night Out that had a limo ride before the show. We got tickets in the "Thunder Zone" and I was the first girl picked to go on stage. Of course, I was wearing all white, with a veil and tiara for optimal attention and chance of being picked, LOL! Other women were picked to go on stage too who were not also brides, but if you want a greater chance of going up, I recommend buying Thunder Zone. They interacted with the audience a lot and it felt like no one was left out. Unfortunately, they do not allow phones for recording or picture taking and they enforce this by having security walk around to monitor the tables. I will admit, the overall venue for the show was smaller than anticipated, but hey, that just means you're much closer to the stage! The dancing and performances are so extremely entertaining, there is never a dull moment from start to finish. To finish it all off, some of the men will take pictures with your group for $20 per person. Very much worth it, please go for a celebration or just for fun at least once! Thank you House Seats for the tickets! I came here with a good friend last time and we had such a fun, great time. The men are extremely attractive and entertaining to say the least, even if they aren't entirely synchronized in their dance routines. There is also high production quality with the various fog machines, strobe lights, and music. I will note that the speakers felt a bit too loud at times, like they were being blown out. The seating was also a bit awkward, as there were long tables placed next to each other with chairs on both sides. I understand why this arrangement is necessary - the men jump onto and dance on the tables. However, it can feel a little cramped and it seemed like most of the women getting attention were either sitting at the front or back of the tables - women in between didn't seem to receive as much attention. That being said, you'll still have a great time. The interaction with the audience is a riot, whether it's bringing someone up on stage or dancing on them. The host was hilarious and did a great job of reading the room and bantering with the audience. Although no pictures/videos are allowed for most of the show, they do open it up for one number where they encourage you to take all the pictures/videos you want. I'm not going to lie, I had more fun than I thought I would. The men's physique was, of course, a six pack for all of them. It was thanks to the crowd being so into it that it helped me kind of enjoy it and scream a bit here and there. The whole show had me going left and right. If a person had their own solo gig, they would choose someone from the audience and bring them onstage. They would do their dance, grind up against them and touch/grab their bodies. I just didn't expect them to do it to that extent. The women that got chosen looked like they were all having fun though. The show also had a few bride to be's in the audience, including my friend, so whenever they came down to the crowd, we would try to get their attention. Sadly, they always skipped over her and went to the bride to be's to the left of us and the right of us. I've been a loyal fan for years, but the Vegas show and its performers have started to lose their appeal to me. For one, I feel that their routines, music, and choreography could use some refreshing and updating. Also, there is a new show in town and it has opened my eyes to everything a male revue could be, while opening my eyes to the areas that Thunder From Down Under could use some refreshing in: - Routines: Their routines majorly need some updating; Uptown Funk has just lost its spark for me personally. - Dance skill: Vegas still overall has the better dancers between the Vegas and touring shows, and there are some standouts. (Shout out Nick!) But, there are a few guys who just aren't very strong dancers, and when you add the new-guys-in-training on top of that, it's just hard to ignore especially when they're not in sync with their steps and having seen the stronger dancing at the other show. - Choreography: I realize they can't get too fancy with their moves because most of the guys don't have dance backgrounds, but at the same time the moves seem too basic. A nice middle ground would be nice. - Music: The songs they dance to are decent but aren't amazing enough to compel me to make a playlist like that other show does. - Room: Because of the stage set up, you pretty much get the same experience if you go multiple times versus if it were in the round. - Crowd interaction: In my opinion, the guys could do a better job of giving each audience member attention and making them feel like a part of the show. - The guys : Don't get me wrong, most of the guys seem cool but one guy I've interacted with just really did not seem very nice. I also find that the long-time Vegas MC comes off as insecure and defensive during the show in his off-script jokes and interaction with the crowd (think: of the "I know you want me" variety). I could be off about that, but I do know that during group photos after a show, he called out one group of girls on the microphone as being the "sexiest Asians" in the room when there was at least one other group of Asians still there as well. He is definitely entitled to his opinion but I found that totally tacky on his part. Also, being superficial now, but one of the guys I thought was the most attractive doesn't quite look the same anymore. But that's why you go to this type of show, right? For some nice eye candy, so that is disappointing. - Lineup: If you have a favorite, you never know if he's going to be at your show or not, whereas with the other show it's the same cast each night so you pretty much know who you're going to get. - Pictures/recording are only allowed during one routine. The other show allows picture-taking and recording throughout, which is the best especially when you get to capture special moments of you and your friends (and the guys!) during the show. - Value: If you're a fan and go for more than the occasional birthday or bachelorette party and you don't have any kind of hook-up, the cost adds up! The other show has a special pass for six shows that pays for itself in two, or even one as they prorate it if you've been to a show within the last month. It makes you feel valued as a show-goer when something like that is made available. I'll keep it at three stars for the following: + A single show is cheaper than the other male revues in town. + If you get a picture with the guys after the show, you get most of the cast in your picture, and you get an actual photo printed out which you can also email to yourself. That way you don't have to take a picture of a picture if you want to post it on social media. + While the other show is more about focusing on the females in the audience than Thunder is, TFDU still is a feel-good type of show and if you can ignore the bad dancing you will have fun :p + Dylan is an excellent host and easy on the eyes :D Out of all the Vegas MC's, Dylan is the perfect mix of looks, charm, talent, and niceness for lack of a better word, and I think he should be featured more. + There are a few other guys in the show I like, though they are on tour and not regularly in the Vegas show. There's another show in Vegas that is more for me these days, and I have no plans to see Thunder any time soon. We'll see if absence makes the heart grow fonder, but I'd have no one to see TFDU with anyhow as all of my friends are hooked on that other show. But, I believe there is still an audience for Thunder. This show is all about good, cheesy fun in my opinion and is a feel-good type of show. Also, most of the guys are nice and I can see the appeal for women (and men). No matter what I still wish the guys and the show well. read more

I love my Aussie men. I've been to most of the male revue shows in Vegas and this is one of my favorites. They've changed a lot since the last time I saw the show. It's your basic strip tease where they have a few guys star in their own dance and a few with all the guys dancing. Be prepared if you choose to raise your hands and scream to get yourself picked to go up on stage. It is not for the shy and reserved. Things they do on stage, well, you need to have an open mind and have fun with it. Also helps if you're not wearing a short dress. This show is great for a girls night out when you just need to get away and have some fun with no worries or stress. Seating. Our tickets ended up being on the far side of the stage when you first walk in, behind a wall. I wasn't a fan of where we were sitting. You couldn't see the whole stage and the guys never really came over to our area. If definitely recommend getting seats in the middle at the tables or may be the section furthest away from the entrance. You'll definitely have a better time. read more

It's raining men! Glad I was able to watch Thunder From Down Under locally here at my own backyard at Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln because I know the hubby won't join me at the Excalibur in Las Vegas! LoL! I joined a few co-workers unexpectedly when a ticket became available because one couldn't make it! So there I was at Section 2, Row H, Seat 7. Warning: Bring earplugs! (I'm not talking about the music either). While it was raining outside here in the Valley it was also raining inside the Pano Hall! It's raining men as these Aussie all male revue performers gave the ladies what they came here for: flesh and fantasy. They came out as a business man, a delivery guy, a construction worker, a firefighter, a doctor, a soldier, and a milkman! An interactive show, each performer pulled a lucky lady on stage and realizes a female fantasy while wearing very little (the performer, not the lady) LoL. So fun, so cray-cray, so wild, so deafening! The men looked uhhhmazing! all have different performances and on stage personalities... and, oh, they can dance too! LoL! They will climb tables and stand on empty chairs! I better end my review now before I get in more trouble with the hubby. I've never been to one of these shows before but I have to say it was an entertaining time. This wasn't just men taking their clothes off but a very interactive experience with awesome dance routines that made my jaw drop more than once throughout the show. The host was also super hilarious and the men were very sweet and were down for photos after the show and signing pictures. Brought my mom for her birthday celebration. The show it self was very fun! We got the 11pm showing. The place was not too packed which was nice too. You can't use your phone to take pictures or videos unless they let you in certain parts of the show. At the end you can take pictures with the guys. Now this is why I'm deduction a star. I would have sworn they said it was a "free picture" once you get in the line, one of the dancers is there collecting money. It's $20 PER PERSON. Even if it's one photo. I think that's a little too much. One of the things that bothered me was the guy collecting the cash was kinda rude about it. They should have said something about charging $20pp instead of leading everyone to line up and then find out while in line last minute. Anyone that bought a photo can meet the guys at the thunder bar right across from the show for an autograph. Some of the guys literally went in for like two signature and left. Some were kinda rude about taking pictures. That's the part that sucked the most. Also the fact that the tickets say. The show start at 11pm and they open the doors at that time. Was in town for a ladies weekend. Booked front row tickets to Thunder from Down Under and tickets to Magic Mike, too. This show FAR exceeded that of the MM show. There are screens to make sure you don't miss anything. The guys are pretty darned good dancers (MM dancers are better dancers - will review that horrible show when I'm done here). They are VERY attractive and put on a good show. They did a a lot of on-stage dancing and in the audience (hold onto your drinks, 'cuz they're coming to dance on your tables too!). One of the things that struck me the most was that they were SO very respectful of the women. Both in the audience and the ones that they brought on stage. They totally catered to comfort level of the gal. One great example was Alexander, he brought an adorable young bride to be on the stage and was VERY respectful of noticing that her skirt rode up a bit, so pulled it down for her. It was so darned sweet. (there are other similar examples - including an 81 year old bride to be that also found her way to the stage and was not the least bit uncomfortable) There's no tipping, but for $20 cash (Apr 2017) you can get your picture taken with them all after the show (there's like 6 or 7 per show). They were SUCH great sports about making sure that everyone got a photo that wanted one. The show was probably a bit over an hour, then 1.5 hours including photo time. There is a bar in the venue, they have wait staff, and there is a restroom in the venue as well. If you're considering this one or Magic Mike, I'd suggest this one. You can check out my MM review. First time ever! Had a pretty Fun new Experience in general. I attended the showing in Morongo Casino. Some of the strippers are polite and fun! Some a bit rude. Interaction with guests was Great but slightly scarce. ‍ Performances were overall entertaining and upbeat till the end of the show . On a serious note, the show started late and then felt it ended early due to the late start. Pricing ticket for: $144.00 is steep for that to happen. Ladies and Gents: there is NO COMPARISON between female strips joints to the men strip performances. The men Rule overall with Class, Talent, overall entertainment and rarity. They make more money and don't even have to show their penises 24/7 as opposed to the female strip clubs who have to get bare naked 24/7 to have the money they (hope for) tossed at them/ hr.‍ read more

(especially since I was sober) The boys come down looking for victims...be warned, if you try to avoid eye contact and shrink away in an effort to not get picked (like I did) they will come and find you! My girls freaked out, in a good way, and I did my best not to die of embarrassment. But it was just all pretend, so there was no harm done, and my dancer was super-sweet, checked in with me to make sure I was ok (maybe he thought I was going to faint or something) and gave me a nice compliment before he walked me off the stage. :) We laughed the entire hour and you also have the option to take photographs with the guys after. Super hot! I wouldn't turn a single one down. We didn't have time, however, and took off. Let me start off with the drawbacks to Thunder From Down Under: it's expensive. Yup, that's the only one. But for the $70 or so that you'll drop you get: ripped men dancing in choreographed routines while wearing themed costumes (firefighter, gangster, cowboy) that they rhythmically remove. And if you're one of the chosen ones you just might get pulled onto the stage, and publicly molested/be made to molest one of the Aussies. It's a total emersion into every gal and/or gay boy's fantasy world. And unfortunately you're not allowed to capture any of it on video/photo unless the emcee tells you to pull out your phone and snap a pic (which luckily he did while I was there). I came to the 7pm show on a Friday with four other people. Our group was a mix of gay gents, and ladies so we didn't get too much one-on-one audience attention from the Thundering Ones, but that was preferable for me. Many other ladies were rubbed down, and rubbed up on, especially those who were there wearing a sash/veil/something symbolizing they were a bride-to-be, and I'm more of a looker than a toucher. These are very interactive shows so that's something to be aware of going into it. And if you want any extras after (like a photo with the men) then it'll cost you extra, $20 to be exact. I was here last night for my bachelorette party and I had such a good experience! The guys are super hot and will definitely show you a good time. He there a little early because women are lining up real early (idk why, there were assigned seating). The show itself was great...my maid of honor went to one in Atlantic City, NJ and said this place was much more classy. The guys didn't strip like it was a strip club, it was a good performance of winding up the guests and then stripping ( if that makes sense?). They really interact with the guests as much as possible and wile up the women. I got pulled on stage and let me tell you, they do some dirty awesome things to you! The music and dancing here didn't seem as good as Chippendales. I did have a blast though! If you know you are in for some cheesy fun, then there is no problem... just don't expect a high class production show. The guys have nice bodies. Singing was not bad and the dancing, well, hot guys shirtless... who cares how well they dance! LOL. This show is somewhat hands-on. The show itself could use some tweaks and improvements, but, from what I could see and hear around me while it was going on, all the drunken, rowdy bachelorettes and their menagerie of rowdy, drunken friends would disagree. We drank and watched a outrageous show of half naked men. And at some points of the show, fully naked men. My friend, who was celebrating her bachelorette party, was pulled up onto the stage. She later told me that the guy was very forceful with her. Yet she said she had a blast! It was so funny! After the show, we wanted to take a photo with the performers. So we stood in a long line. The line went all the way to the bar in the back of the theater. Once we got up to the front of the line we were told it was 20$ per a person even though we wanted to take one photo. So that's 20$ per a person regardless of taking one huge group photo or individual photo shots. They only take cash for their photo booth. We only had $30 in cash so we told the bride to be to take a solo photo. We were pretty bummed. But the photo with the bride to be and the performers was pretty epic. She was engulfed with rows of sweaty hot men. It's a great keepsake. Would I go back? Um, I think yes. Although, next time I know to stop by an atm machine to get cash.
