LoL I used Yelp to get some quotes, one quote couldn't fit me in today. Another quote came in but I already found Custom FX Tint who were able to fit me in today. When I called I believe I spoke with Jeremy that stated he just had a cancellation. We agreed on a time but I wasn't able to make it on the time we agreed on. I called again to let them know I was on my way and running late due to my daughter's salon appointment going over the time we expected. They stated they would be able to fit me in today still. It was awesome news for me to hear because I really wanted to surprise my wife. They were professional and customer friendly both in person and over the phone. They have three options of window tint from Global Window Films. You can choose from QDP, HP CHARCOAL, and QDP Ceramic. I chose the QDP Ceramic film. I know Ceramic is the way to go for sure if you're trying to beat the heat. I have used ceramic with one of my previous vehicles and I remember how it reduced the heat inside the vehicle. You can wait inside like I did. There are four chairs to sit on with one child seat. The total wait time is anywhere from an hour and half to two hours depending on your vehicle. You can also drop your vehicle off and come back when it's ready! Overall, my experience was very pleasant and enjoyed my time while waiting for my vehicle here. I learned when they were finished with my vehicle they're a family owned business with two brothers and their mother. They do offer a military discount upon requesting and showing the proper military or veteran ID. And you can schedule an appointment with them online, it take a $50 deposit that goes towards the cost of the window tint for your vehicle. Pretty awesome job keep it local in my book!! Official completion time for my vehicle which was a 2016 Ford Explorer was honestly in a hour.

A couple weeks go by and the bubbles don't go away, so I ask him to fix them. He lied on 3 separate occasions about being on his way, and then proceeded to give me an excuse or ghost me. I don't think he's ever going to fix it, but I'll update my review if he does. I've attached pictures of the tint he did.

She said she's only doing house calls and the soonest she was available is Wed Apr 1st (today). I spoke to her Monday and Tuesday this week to re-confirm address, pricing and details of what was to be tinted. Lo and behold she waits until one hour before her team is supposed to show up at my house today to tell me oh by the way she made a mistake and it's going to be $600 for me instead of $500. She is blaming it on the fact she didnt know our home was so far. She had opportunities to punch our address is on Friday, again on Monday and again on Tuesday but she claims she never did until one hour before arrival and now I've wasted 2-3 days of time when I could have gotten this job done elsewhere Monday morning or Friday afternoon last week. Horrible business practices this place has and I will never recommend anyone to them.

I took two different vehicles to Auto Detailing of Austin for detailing of interior and exterior…read more Both vehicles look amazing. The first vehicle was a 2013 Kia Soul. It's had a hard year of little kids and dogs in and out of it. Andrea started my day by sending me pictures of areas with heavy wear, scratches, etc explaining what could and couldn't be addressed but a promise to do her best. I received several more updates throughout the day. Except for the wear spots, the interior looked as good as it did when I bought the vehicle (used) about 6 years ago. It day actually take a day or two of leaving the windows down on the garage for the cloth seats to fully dry. The Mazda SUV is only 9 months old but had gotten quite dirty on the interior (from kids, dogs and snowmaggedon). It really did look good as new when I picked it up. I did have to wait about 15 Minutes for them to finish up even though I'd arrived when instructed. The waiting room offers free Wi-Fi and is air conditioned. For the outstanding work, it cost is worth it. I highly recommend Auto Detailing Austin and Andrea in particular.
