As much as I've enjoyed their pastas I have noticed a some decline and probable changes. I've been a couple of times recently in the last couple of months and every time the sauces seemed a bit watered down and less flavorful. I also remembered their pastas coming with garlic bread but I had to order garlic bread the last time. Anyways, the actual cook of the pasta has been consistently good so I can't complain there. They aren't the quickest to get your food out but for the overall quality I am pretty much always willing to wait for well prepared food. As for ambiance, I mean it's a food truck so not much to say there.

I never thought about it much. I just walked up to the truck, looked at the menu, ordered my food, and enjoyed the hell out of it. I am certain I have been getting great food from the truck, El Jacalito, for sometime now and highly recommend it.

The sign said Taquizas so that's what we'll go with for now (though the trailer did say Magda's tacos or Tacos Magda). I ordered 3 tacos (asada, pastor, Chicken), a quesabirria and a horchata. Pastor had some nice char and was relatively tender. My favorite Al Pastor tacos pretty much always have some form/taste of pineapple but theirs to me just doesn't have it. Maybe it was drowned out by the salsa? The asada was fairly standard, nothing to write home about. Not especially tender or tough. Tad dry though. Of the regular tacos, the chicken was the most standoutish. Very moist and tender. On the negative though, it was VERY salty to the point where I almost didn't finish it. The quesabirria had some positives and negatives too. The tortilla was nicely done with just the right amount of crisp. The meat itself was a tad tough and dry though. And this is possibly the first time that I had a quesabirria that didn't come with consommé for dipping. Quesabirria just doesn't hit the same without it. And with quesabirria I also prefer that green salsa already inside it as opposed to putting it on after the fact. They had a table with all of the condiments and toppings like salsa and onions. I was more than happy to do it myself for the regular tacos. The horchata was so grainy and not refreshing at all. Not super sweet either so I guess that's a plus. Don't know how horchata is made; is it blended because if so it definitely needed to be blended even more. Or is it strained out? I don't know. The person who took my order was very pleasant though. They also got my food out pretty quickly. I don't think I could give them more than a 3/5 and that's a little generous.

Immediately, you notice the food truck is nicely decorated and visually appealing, the Grizzly bear featured very prominently. The name of the place doesn't give away the food, so for anyone wondering, they do burgers, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwiches. They also have the word Burgers visible on the outside of the truck. We were first in line and our order was promptly taken and the workers were all very friendly and seemed genuinely excited to greet and serve me. I opted for the double grizzly bite and I asked for jalapeños on it. It was a good choice! Very delicious and extremely filling, you won't be disappointed. Huge burger. I also enjoyed the side of fries, but for an additional $3, not sure that I enjoyed them well enough to justify the extra $3, for something that's normally included. Quick suggestion there: offer an optional seasoning or something that makes the fries pop and I think they would go a lot further! My wife ordered the chicken tenders with fries. She got 4 tenders and said they had great flavor and the fries were good. We had to ask for ranch on the side, but there were no issues there! All in all, 5/5 stars. Will definitely try them again!
