I paid to rent a car for a week and Felix reassured me that was plenty of time. They called yesterday and added axle assembly for same tire area. They shared this would add another $200-$250. I've now added 3 days to rental I'm paying for and they simply don't reply when asked about these prices. I feel taken advantage of because I needed the car towed and a name like HONEST sounded, well.... Just that. In my research, with OEM parts, I'm being well overcharged on each line item. they were incredibly obtuse in our initial conversation about pricing & repairs. I'll come back and edit this if I find the pricing and other details are fair. For now, I'm bummed out that people in need of help are taken advantage of due to an urgent situation. I plan to talk to the city as I did get video after the hydroplane to show the water on road (15 mins after incident) and how there's no brake/skid marks. Hoping they help w cost.

I have a mint 93 Lexus SC400 that Firestone had for EIGHT days throwing over $1200 in parts and labor at before calling me to have it flat towed back to my house because they couldn't figure out why I had a crank but no start issue. I got it back to find they had also killed my battery! Sucked for them as well because it was replaced by me @ $150+ and payed for by the manager, as well as all parts and labor. I reached out on Facebook and was referred to Kelly's by a friend. Kelly's had my Lex up and running in under 48 hours! Extremely fair price which was all spent on time it took to troubleshoot-no parts needed-and even installed a new battery terminal clamp at no charge, which I knew I had an issue with, but forgot to mention!! Love that!! In the end, it was the computer terminal connection not being cleaned after Firestone installed a new computer! Kelly's is now my go-to Mechanics for anything I need done on my classic Lexus. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Hours after dropping my car off to do this test, they call me with an appalling list of things needed to be fixed in my car to the tune of over $3,500. One of which was leaking coolant, which I had fixed less than a year ago elsewhere. I went to my last mechanic to use the warranty from this repair. However, he was able to physically show me that there was no leak. I went to check everything else on this list of repairs Everything Automotive claimed I needed, and only 2 of the 5 repairs were actually true. I agreed to get my mirror changed at Everything Automotive and nothing else. But the owner wouldn't take my no for an answer on getting everything they listed repaired, and tried pressuring me to scare me saying my car was a ticking time-bomb. It wasn't. When I came to get my car an hour after the full diagnostics I didn't ask for was finished, the owner said he needed more time to "do what he needed to do still." Slightly concerning since there was nothing we agreed to repair yet, and of course when leaving, my car ran worse than it did when I got there. As a girl alone in Florida as I finish up my education, it's so disappointing to see the lengths people will go to swindle others. The owner states to have helped lots of fellow students from my school which worries me how many other people were suckered into spending money on things they didn't need from here. Do yourself a favor, and find an honest mechanic like Vimar up the block across the street from Full Sail University to help you with all your needs!
