Took my car in for air conditioner repair. Paid just over $1000, but they said there was a 2 year warranty. The next day I returned - no cold air. They supposedly repaired, at no charge. 3 weeks later same thing - no cold air. They again "repaired" - at no charge. 3 weeks later same thing - again no cold air. Still another alledged fix. 4 weeks later, again - no cold air This time they supposedly found a leak and agreed to fix it for an additional $450. I decided that it wasn't worth throwing good money after bad. I'll find someone else to repair my A/C who hopefully knows what they're doing. read more

Wow! When's the last time you got an oil change and got to watch a movie? This place had comfortable chairs and a movie screen and a regular TV. It actually looks like it should be a bar. I just can't be appreciative enough of Bobby and his crew. Haven't had an issue in a while, where I needed to make a visit. Always reliable in the past, so today's visit just reinforced that. Complicated (to me) and weird issue I was having and I figured it would be guesswork to figure out the real cause, might take a couple of tries, and $$$$$... Nope! Within 40min of my unannounced visit, the trouble was deciphered, nothing as scary as I thought, wasn't as expensive as I thought, and I was out of there within an hour after. Took my car there after being told about a coupon for that was out in a local publication. It was for full synthetic and the price on the coupon had some restrictions. It came out more than I expected but the service was fantastic, I had made an appointment and asked how long it would take. It was within 5 minutes of what I was quoted and it was ready to roll. I stopped in to ask about my Jeep rear view mirror that will not stay on the windshield. I had glued it 7 times with different glues and I good not get it to stay. The gentleman behind the counter told me he could take care of it but I had to leave the vehicle with him till it sets. It was a Friday and I was on my home so told him I could not leave it because I don't live close. He gave me some of their professional glue and it worked amazing !! I am pissed. I made an appointment with someone named Erica which made no sense because I told them how urgent this was and what was going on with my car right. I drive my broken car to this place slowly because hey it's gonna get fixed. NO! I get there at 8 in the morning for them to tell me" we can see your car today but we cant repair it until a few DAYS out because the availability". Now why in the first place make me an appointment for you not to fix my car for you to try to keep it there for days until you fix it. That was ridiculous. They basically made and appointment for me just to bring my car and leave it there and not even look at it or repair it for a few days total nonsense. Never coming here again that was my second time going there the first time was terrible also. What a waste of my time and my safety at risk because I drove my broken over heated car to you guys for no reason. Terrible system terrible service. read more

I will fully admit I know very little about cars and rather than taking advantage of me, they instruct me and help me learn. I've been coming here for years. Expert replaced by AC compressor 2 years ago. My AC stopped working, and another qualified mechanic put dye through the system and showed me the bad dampeners and where the leak was coming from. l contacted Expert and was told I only had a 1yr warrantee, but agreed that the compressor should have lasted longer than 2 years. He suggested that I bring it in. After waiting over an hour, they told me that hey could find no leak. I said, are you telling me the compressor isn't bad? They said, no. I told them what the other mechanic already DID, but they said that they would have to vacuum the dye themselves and put dye in it again... and charge me for doing so. I mentioned again that a qualified mechanic already did this, as well as pointed out that the dampeners were visually bad... you guys KNOW the compressor is bad, so why are you trying to charge me for what was already done? And even after you charge me for what we all already know, are you still going to charge me to replace the bad compressor? After acknowledging that I would be paying for everything, I said give me my keys. They gave me a receipt stating that since I didn't want to pay they could no longer help me. I asked the guy, why did you tell me to bring it in if you had no intent on helping me? He said, we did help you. We checked it for free and found no leak. I said, no. You ignored that the other qualified mechanic's determination even though you can visibly see the dye and the bad dampeners. I walked out and texted the other qualified mechanic and told him what happened, and he told me that Expert Car Care are crooks. After this experience I have to agree. read more

Unfortunately I'm from out of the state so I wasn't able to get a ride anywhere during the time of my maintenance but the workers were extremely comical. I have a 2008 Honda Odyssey, started to have high pitch noise when turn the vehicle. I personally replaced the power steering pump and Reservoir. Ended up breaking the tensioner assembly set bolt. Upon replacing the pump found the high pressure line for the power steering hose was cracked and leaking. Took it to expert car care in deltona off Elkcam and explained the situation and that I would need the tensioner assembly back because it was a new part under warranty. That I was having issues with the transmission now and a few other problems. Main problem was the power steering fluid leak. Once diagnostic was done they advised that my alternator was failed and caused wrong electrical signal to transmission and battery was failed. So I agreed to have the alternator replaced. The high pressure line replaced. The tensioner assembly replaced. The battery was warranty so I took that back to autozone personally and swapped it out. When my wife went to pick up the car they had thrown the tensioner assembly in the garbage and had to go dig it out so I could return that and get my money back. Once we got the car back noticed like a day later that the power steering fluid was low and had wet spot in driveway. Their shop was only maybe 3 miles from my house. Filled it up and drove it back to their shop and told them the car was still leaking power steering fluid. And worse now than before. They had a young man come out and look and his assessment was that the rack and pinion was leaking and needed replaced now. 1500+ for that repair which I didn't have done. Their work was performed on 6-22-19. Was near 4th of July and was getting ready to go on vacation. Once I got back from vacation took the car to another shop for a second opinion on their work. Found that the power steering high pressure line going into the rack assembly was leaking. The shop advised to not drive the car because the leak was severe enough and really close to the catalytic converter and potentially a fire hazard. Not only that it took him 30 seconds to find the leak. Bring me out and show me the leak and said there is absolutely no way they tested. Verified. But expert still sent me home to drive a car that they said was fixed and good to go but actually could potentially catch fire this whole time come to find out. When I called and explained my situation they couldn't even get me in as a previous customer with faulty work for like 3/4 days. I would have thought I'd been priority as this was a major workmanship issue and tried to make the repair right. But they didn't make that happen. So I asked what their policy was about warranty and the "nationwide" warranty on the repair they made was. Their response was that if the current shop did anything it would void the warranty they said I had. Which was 12000 miles 2yrs. So I called the warranty company which was provantage and explained my situation. After getting copies of the work performed from expert they didn't even put any mileage down which was really weird because the warranty company needed this to verify the warranty that was stated on their repair invoice. So after three hrs of dealing with all that and getting the claim processed the shop I took it to has to perform an exhaustive diagnostic on the repair that expert care had performed in order to give that to the warranty company from expert car care. Come to find out they used an after market high pressure line from o'riley and for my Honda should have opted for the OEM part. The high pressure line didn't have threads machined correctly to fit my Honda and thankfully they didn't strip out the rack thread which would have resulted in having to replace the rack. On top of all this because the repair wasn't done properly or the correct part used has caused me to have a rental vehicle and lots over power steering fluid which I believe should be paid for by expert car care since it's a direct result of the incorrect part and work performed. Not only that what if my car caught fire with my family it it? Could have been much worse but still totally unprofessional in my opinion! How could you give a car back. Say it's a rack now, try to charge an additional 1500+ to fix an issue that was from a previous repair? How can you do that and sleep at night? My car is sitting at the shop waiting on Honda to deliver the high pressure line and now I've got a rental for two days because of all this on top of the extra fluid I've used and stress trying to get it all resolved and missing work and hrs as well. I understand this review is probably the longest review but I'm totally unsatisfied with their level of service and lack of professionalism or willingness to make right the work that was performed. This review will be copied and pasted to every review site I can find as well as the BBB and cooperate office. Totally unacceptable and I gave every change to allow them to make it right. Too busy to fix or make it right. Poor! absolutely poor! read more

This place is a complete ripoff. I went to this shop because my muffler fell off my car & it was the closest shop to my house. I was told by Joe as he scarfed his food down that I needed a whole new muffler for my 2012 car because it was rusted & couldn't be welded back on. He said it was going to cost $350.00. I asked to see my muffler & if he could put it in my car so I can have it fixed somewhere else temporary since he had ordered the muffler & it wouldn't be in until the following day. He then said that's fine but we now need a credit card on file to order the part which I now knew was a lie because he already ordered it when I was there. I told him to just cancel the order & I'll go somewhere else then. I then went to Dave Johnsons shop in Orange city and had it welded back on for $75.00. I would highly recommend this shop if you need anything fixed on your car. He is honest & will not try to rip you off. read more
