We only made the initial payment and car had to be towed (yes, it was not safe to drive back) not once but twice one with a radiator that had a hole in it and once due to active severe misfirings because of the bad spark plugs. We were told that if you were in a auto mechanic school and make such mistakes of not checking these coils or plugs you would never complete your education. It is really disheartening that they proud themselves about this so-called certification, yet they can't even do something as basic as a first month of student should know to check. It was a hustle to tow the car over there. Now we are on the same boat. Second time with a completely different problem. Unless you're a mechanic and can open up the engine and check all around that compartments I would be very wary to buy any used car from CarMax.

KAREEM is his name and he's AWESOME! I told him what I was interested u which at the time was a certified pre owned Mitsubishi because I previously owned one . After talking and looking at cars , I was looking at different options of SUVs with a 3rd row. Kareem was very patient , professional and knowledgeable . Too make this long story short I went from wanting to certified pre owned Mitsubishi to purchasing a "2026" Santa fee w/no money down and I absolutely love it . Thanks you carmax fur everything ! And thanks you Kareem for being awesome!

Now, there were personal problems going on at the time, which may have affected my rational thinking, but anyway . . . The first time, my parents called ahead and met me there. The guy came right out and gave it the free inspection. It was going to cost a couple hundred over my deductible, so he recommended just paying for it myself, which I did. They did a super job. Soon after, I came back, and the same guy took care of me. This time, the damage was more, so he recommended calling insurance and that way I could get all the repairs (not all are necessary) because it would still cost me the same. Both times, my car came out immaculate with a good price compared to what I've seen other places charge. AND, I've gotten the car back within a couple days each time. They are efficient to the point that most people where I worked didn't even know my car had been damaged because they didn't realize I hadn't been driving it.

I directly asked them multiple times if this was a scam, an attempt to sell me a vehicle, an attempt to collect further marketing information from me, or if this was an actual verified cash prize. The woman on the phone did, in fact, claim that it was a cash prize that I would be awarded but that she "could not see the amount" on her computer. I do not need a vehicle, nor would I buy them from an auto auction that preys on people with poor credit. If this marketing technique is any indication of their sales people and vehicle quality - which I suspect it is - then I would avoid them at all costs. Previous poster's review if you cannot see it: Thanks to their mailer for revealing they're true selves, I'd avoid this place at all costs! A Stellar Experience with VW of Fallston…read more When it comes to purchasing a new vehicle, one hopes for a seamless and stress-free experience. However, sometimes unforeseen issues arise that can turn the excitement of a new car into a daunting ordeal. This was the case when I encountered a significant issue with my brand new 2024 Tiguan. Yet, the way the team at VW of Fallston handled the situation transformed a potential nightmare into a remarkable testament to exceptional customer service. First and foremost, I'd like to commend Derick, Frank, Joe, and the entire team at VW of Fallston. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is nothing short of outstanding. Over the years, I have purchased several new automobiles, but none of my experiences have matched the level of honesty, transparency, and support that I received from this dealership. From the moment I realized there was an issue with my Tiguan, the team at VW of Fallston took charge. They assured me that the problem was theirs to resolve and that I would not have to shoulder the burden alone. This sense of responsibility and accountability is rare in the automotive industry, where customers often feel left to fend for themselves once the sale is complete. Communication was a key element in how VW of Fallston managed the situation. Derick, Frank, and Joe kept me informed every step of the way. Whether it was an update on the progress or simply checking in to see how I was doing, their proactive approach helped alleviate any anxiety I might have had. In addition to their effective communication, VW of Fallston went above and beyond to ensure my convenience during the repair process. They provided me with a loaner car, which allowed me to continue with my daily routine without any disruption. This gesture, though seemingly small, made a significant difference. The resolution of the issue was swift and efficient, thanks to the expertise and dedication of the team. They worked diligently to diagnose and fix the problem, ensuring that a new Tiguan was found. Reflecting on this experience, I can confidently say that VW of Fallston has redefined my expectations of what a car dealership should be. They have set a new standard for customer service, one that is characterized by integrity, transparency, and a genuine desire to help. It is clear that Derick, Frank, Joe, and the entire team take great pride in their work and are truly passionate about delivering the best possible experience to their customers. In an industry where trust can often be in short supply, VW of Fallston stands out as a beacon of reliability and excellence. Their actions during this challenging time have earned my loyalty and respect. I am grateful for the way they handled the situation, and I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in search of a trustworthy dealership. Thank you, Derick, Frank, and Joe, for turning a difficult situation into a positive experience. Your dedication and commitment to customer service are exemplary, and you have my sincerest appreciation. Kudos on a job well done!!!!

I had seen a listing for a car at this dealership at a reasonable price seemed nice and all until I actually got to the dealership, they really didn't tell me anything that was going on with the car like the broken tire sensor, the broken glove box, the squeaky windows, the connections of the power of the car, giving me a key with a dying battery. anyways I ended up having to get a cosigner for my new car because this dealership was hardly willing to work with me but anyways having a cosigner was not supposed to be a problem who knew it would end up causing such a fuss!!!!! after purchasing the car, they had contacted me again about how they messed up my paperwork they told me one thing and told my cosigner another thing okay.... anyways so come to find out my supposedly new car starts having all these issues and while me and my cosigner are back at the dealership again, they still had all the paperwork WRONG anyways told me they fixed it I ended up making an appoint to get my car worked on. here's where the real fun begins!!!! so I get to my appointment can't find anything in the system with my name yippie anyways get that figured out I waited probably like 3-4 hours for a window squeak a glove box and a tire sensor and my screen all to find out all they did was replace my tire sensor and "fix" my window yeah my windows fixed but it looks like they took a metal sponge to it so now my whole window needs replaced!!! on my brand new car !!!!!!!! and mind you originally, they told me to go to another dealership.... like I'm sorry don't sell cars that aren't Volkswagens if you physically aren't capable of it??? anyways so I tried contacting the corporate and they told me they couldn't do anything because my car isn't a Volkswagen and it's a private owned dealership so like okay whatever anyways remember the paperwork issue??? yeah, they were supposed to send me and only me the payment papers for my auto loan and guess who they didn't get sent to ME yeah that's right!!!! I'm so done with this dealership I honestly don't ever want to go back there for anything no one there knows how to do a single thing, and no one should ever buy a car from here honestly because it is a terrible experience
