I've seen advertisement on social media about this auto camp. I thought it was quite different to stay in an airstream among other visitors. Basically, like a hotel resort but with tons of airstreams all in one place located in the desert. Very unique concept. For two nights, I found a deal for about $345 total through a third party website. Sometimes it can be cheaper, but do your research first before booking. We were greeted by Ivan as we checked in. The staff were very friendly as you get to know them. Our airstream was available earlier than expected. It was nice to get into some ac since the weather was extremely hot. The airstream was spacious for the three of us which included myself and two kids. I felt the airstream wasn't as clean, but I mean we were in the desert with lots of sand. Our favorite part of this auto camp was the pool area. My kids and I enjoyed our time relaxing and meeting other people from other states who came to visit. There wasn't much to do in Joshua Tree except to go shopping and dining, but it was a unique experience to check it out once. The view of the stars at night was the highlight of it all. So calm and peaceful. It's also so beautiful during sunset. We really did enjoyed our stay and would probably do it again in the future. read more

We had a great stay at AutoCamp Joshua Tree. The front desk is available 24 hours, and they were very helpful when we arrived late. The Airstream was clean and comfortably fit a family of 4-5, including kids. There was a grill available, and they provided cooking utensils and a cast-iron pan. You just need to bring your own charcoal. We used Walmart delivery for supplies, which made everything very easy. The location is about 30 minutes from the park and convenient for driving back and forth. They offer complimentary coffee and tea in the morning, and bikes are available to use. They provide paper towels, toilet paper, and bath towels, with more available if needed. I would recommend staying here again. read more

I have been wanting to check in at Auto Camp for years and finally got to do so. It costs a pretty penny so it was definitely a treat for us, and bringing our dog costs another $70. It's definitely more on the glamping side. PROS: 1. The location of the site itself is pretty central, close to a popular coffee shop, the main street, and there's a grocery store not too far away. 2. Parking is free and there are EV chargers. 3. The staff is friendly and accommodating and they have a centralized phone number you can text should you need anything 4. They let guests borrow an induction stove and pots/pans for no additional charge 5. Their general store is open 24/7, I believe, and you can buy anything you can think of and the prices are not jacked 6. The free granola in the morning was delicious! 7. I loved the bathroom inside our suite, considering it's of good size and it felt like we were in an actual room CONS: 1. For what it's worth, I did find some stuff inside our Airstream that look dated. Like on top of my head, a tissue holder in the bathroom that has a chipped container, stain on the kitchen countertop from what I assume was from the stove, the blanket being very dusty when we opened it, etc. The TV in the room is also not smart tv and not really sure if it has channels either. I just feel like these areas could be more maintained especially if it's brander as a luxury glamping experience 2. The mini fridge is barely cold. Good thing we only really need to store some meat to grill for a few hours. 3. Check in time is 4 pm and check out is 10 am-- I just think that's too much and not the standard anymore. Why do hotels need 6 hours to clean a single suite? Overall, we enjoyed our time and still think it was worth trying at least once! i had such a great experience in Joshua Tree staying at this airstream. There's not too much around Joshua Tree so an airstream, glamping in the desert, enjoying the outdoors near the national park is perfect. The staff was friendly and provided all the suggestions on what to do during our stay. There's a gate to enter this auto camp so its safe from non-guests. -Dog friendly so feel free to bring your pet! - Airstreams were somewhat close together, the one next door had trouble with their woodfire and we helped them set up and gave them some of our coals we bought to cook. - I showed up to morning yoga during the weekend and somehow no one was there, even though it was on the calendar. - There was breakfast in the morning from 7-9AM that includes some oatmeal/granola and coffee/tea- something small to start the mornings. - They have most things available to purchase in the office - Free bike rentals- we were able to borrow and ride to the nearby Saloon for some drinks! - Microwave, fridge, toiletries, extra linens, cutlery is available inside the airstream - AC was working extremely well in 100 deg heat, but it was loud. Very cool spot to stay at while in Joshua Tree. They have everything you need in their parked airstreams. It's like you're ruffing it, but not really. There's a pool, fire pit, gift shop, kitchen, and a lot of space. Their direct website will have some nights priced in the $200 range going up to triple that for the premium stays. You can also find some road runners skittering around. It's a completely gated area with its own parking lot too. We enjoyed our stay, but a word of warning if you drive an EV: there are only 5 charging spaces available, and two are set aside for disabled access. They have 5 hour limits and charge very very slowly. Auto Camp is in the middle nowhere and with many drivers coming from LA they really need to improve their car chargers. Another disappointment is that the website indicates you can buy chicken, salmon and pizza to cook at your campsite but only pizza was available during our stay. read more

I walked in and immediately felt like I needed to start a lifestyle blog, adopt a desert tortoise, and wear linen outfits I definitely don't own. The whole place screams: "Yes, you're outdoors, but calm down we still have hot water and Wi-Fi." The vibes? Immaculate. The aesthetic? Pinterest worthy. The fire pit? Had me believing I was on some kind of spiritual journey when really I was just burning marshmallows like a rookie. And can we talk about how peaceful it was? I swear the desert air reset my nervous system and erased at least three generations of trauma. Not sure if it was the stars, the silence, or the overpriced snacks, but listen... healing happened. AutoCamp Joshua Tree a hidden gem! The Airstream was way more spacious and comfortable than expected (the AC was a lifesaver in that high desert heat). Loved that the bathroom came fully stocked--even with feminine products, which is such a thoughtful touch. The private fire pit is perfect for a night under the stars (remember to BYO wood/charcoal). Pool is cute but definitely on the smaller side for the resort--only 44 max total, so it can feel limited. With that massive island, I kept wishing for a bartender to whip up something desert-inspired! The on-site store is a must go-- beautiful local art that you might miss if you don't peek inside, and the usual snacks, drinks, souvenirs. Check in was a bit of a hassle, waited nearly 2 hours because the trailer wasn't ready on time! Overall, this was such a refreshing and dreamy escape. We booked 2 nights and it was the most relaxing time. Easy check in and fun experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our airstream was nice and in decent shape. The outside furniture was super dirty and seemed like it was not cleaned for days. Our lantern wasn't working so we called and they were out and instead gave us free firewood. The pool was small but during our stay there were lots of kids who made the water murky and we didn't want to get in the water so we completely avoided the pool area. Food items ordered from the cafeteria were less than perfect. We ordered the margarita pizza which came cold that was not properly heated. The street corn was good. On the day of our check out they were completely out of wagons since apparently a big group of guests took them all but one of the workers was nice enough to give us a ride to our car with her gold cart. The website made it look super cool but in reality it's a glorified glamp site that you might as well have gone to an actual hotel for the price you're paying! Check in was an absolute mess -- have a long day of flying with two kids, we arrive at the check-in time and was told that our room was not ready yet. We were offered one drink from the cooler and then waited and waited and waited. We see more and more people filing in and everyone's room wasn't ready yet! The lobby is overcrowded by this time and very small swimming pool was crazy busy and the sun was super hot. We see other families offered a drink per person from the cooler where we only were offered one. They should've just opened up happy hour and snacks to help everyone through this wait! Finally after 2 hours of sitting in the lobby and waiting we have our airstream ready. It's cute but also had a fire ant hill right outside it. There's gaps in the seams of the door so bugs were able to get in and the plumbing isn't the greatest. The could've also done more events to bring in the experience -- storytelling, free smore's (cuz really the ingredients are cheap), music, etc. "Breakfast included" meaning coffee and granola which wasn't stellar either. Only thing good is the location being so close to the Joshua Tree entrance that we can jet over for sunset pics without making it a huge trek. When we complained to the AutoCamp about our terrible check-in experience the only response we got was oh, sorry, hope you'll join us again soon! read more

Autocamp is a unique "glamping" experience in Joshua Tree. It's like a luxury boutique room in the middle of the desert and comes with privacy, air conditioning, and a cute fire pit with outdoor seating. It's a perfect couples or friends getaway, for those looking to be IN nature but not "too into" nature ;) My family and I rented two cabins which are more expensive than the airstream option, but we booked pretty last minute so there were no longer two airstreams available. Honestly, the airstream and the cabins do not differ too much. They both have kitchens, air conditioning, convertible sofa, and private bathrooms with showers. On the website, it seems the cabins have a nicer view, but I found this to be untrue for the Joshua Tree campsite. It was just an empty lot of sand and desert around us, and we could see houses in the distance. The cabin wasn't worth the extra money for me. Because Autocamp charges luxury prices, I will be a bit more picky with the amenities as well. The TV in one of our cabins was not working (neither Roku chromecast nor accessing streaming directly on the Roku). One of our blinds was not working as well (it would not raise via remote and we could not manually raise it). We had two cabins so we noticed inconsistency with how each of the cabins were stocked. One cabin was missing cooking tongs and large bowls. The other was missing a lantern. The conditioner was also empty - I'm surprised it wasn't filled prior to our check-in. Some other items that I didn't know when I was initially booking: -- The special events, such as yoga, are only offered on weekends. No events during weekdays. -- The outdoor fire pits do not come with fire starter or wood, you'll have to bring those yourself or buy them from the onsite Autocamp store -- You can only use a special eco-friendly wood or charcoal -- Autocamp is not actually in the middle of the national park, it's on a lot of land in a neighborhood in the town of Joshua Tree. So there's plenty of grocery stores around. The drive to Barker Dam, one of the most popular Joshua Tree hikes, is about 30min. Pickiness aside, I did enjoy my experience. Being able to cook my lunch and dinner on the outdoor firepit was great and Joshua Tree is wonderful to stargaze in (the park is open 24 hours!) The staff at Autocamp Joshua Tree is what made my stay fantastic. They were all incredibly friendly and accommodating, going as far as to help clean out our fire pit after our lunch. read more

AutoCamp - A great desert experience, location, facility, and staff. Wonderful manager Amanda, who was so passionate about the property as well as our stay, what a professional asset to the company. YELP Short Answer: YES for a number of reasons first is the location to Joshua Tree National Park then it is the AutoCamp Experience. IF exploring Joshua Tree for the 1st or 10th time you need at a minimum 2-3 days there. LOCATION: Very nice about 5 miles from the ranger station, having turned a bunch of desert into a luxury short-term stay oasis using cleverly converted Airstreams and similar Cabins. This is luxury glamping at its finest. ROOMS: Airstreams are large 30' I believe but they have been converted with highly upgraded bathrooms and living spaces. There were converted at a very high expense so if you've never enjoyed an Airstream experience you should give it a try. CABINS: We've owned an Airstream and have stayed in on at AutoCamp previously so we gave a Cabin a try this trip and I think I preferred it. All Rooms have outdoor fire pits, table, chairs and a pergola to keep out of the sun and yes there is sun. FACILITIES: Top notch everything, from check-in to the shop they have about everything you cold ask for. Pool area is awesome and there are many outdoor community type spaces to just hang out. STAFF: Everyone just seemed like family. This does not just happen, a great ownership group allowing a very cool manager (GM?) Amanda the ability to create her own family team to welcome guest in and out. A shout out to Zach who made our evening very special and made us feel very much at home. Having been in this luxury resort business, I can say they have their stuff together. Guest management software is incredible as is the the seamless check-in and guest connection to their room and wifi. It is all very impressive even though you will probably not notice it, it just works. FOOD & BEVERAGE: Yes, they have food, breakfast, coffee and dinner items and libations during Happy Hour or you can buy a fancy pre assembled fresh meal and go cook it outside at your AirStream. Everything was reasonably priced and very good. Somehow an order of Tater Tots got delivered to my table, maybe a moment of weakness due to Happy Hour, but none the less they were so good and so not on my diet. OVERALL VALUE: Very good, yet a little on the expensive side as you will find out online. That being said this is a first class facility with experienced staffed with excellent amenities. To me it is priced where it should be for the experience and on our visit they were sold out and there are a lot of rooms. TIP: Consider the time of year and your comfort level with a little noise from the heaters (Yes it gets very cold here) or the AC units as the Airstream HVAC Units are on the roof. The Cabins have splitters with the condensers away from the bedroom so super quiet and efficient. Enjoy! read more

Designer cowboy hats with triple-digit price tags lined the walls, but there was no warmth, no hospitality. As for the food: it was served on disposable ware, with no table service. My drink wasn't even brought to the table. It felt more like being shuffled through a cafeteria at a private event we weren't invited to than a relaxing meal out. Sadly, this experience exemplifies why so many locals are skeptical of outside businesses moving into the desert. Gated, overpriced, cold, and out of touch that 'kinda' serves food. This was my second time to stay in autocamp , last time was autocamp yosemite where i like it a lot . However , the autocamp in Joshua tree was little bit disappointed . This autocamp was like next to residential area , just like a upscale RV parking place. Unlike the one in yosemite which had a lake , but here was totally nothing. As we tried the airstream before, therefore this time we choose suite style . The suite was definitely more roomy , and it even had a induction cooktop available. As usual , the staff here was so friendly and helpful , and this autocamp even provided free EV charging ( around 6 available ) This autocamp was so close to the Joshua tree national park ( 20mins drive ), which was one of my reason to stay here . Otherwise , autocamp in Yosemite IMO would be the best one for vacation. read more

Our stay was wonderful, we appreciate the text ahead welcoming us and sending us the gate code. The cabin was beautiful and appreciated the large windows with a view. The fire pit and patio were a homely touch to the stay. The lobby and guest areas were a 5 star stay. We tiredly arrived later that evening and Zach warmly welcomed us. He was friendly, professional and attentive. We requested a later checkout for 11am and he was able to accommodate us and really appreciated that. Since Zach has accommodated our late check out The next day, we were still in the suite at 10:26 & I didn't notice the text or phone call from Brianna because we were getting ready to leave by 11am. She came knocking loudly at our door and said I just want to know when you guys will be out. We definitely felt unwelcome and explained we had a later check out until 11am. We went to the front desk before 11am and told the guy at the front desk what happened and he said that the lady that normally checks out will check us out. At this point it did not feel welcoming or service like the advertising advertises. Other than that the stay was great, but there are many other places to stay and just for an extra hour of rest for check out, we wish that it could have been handled better the next morning by the morning staff. In summary, The "evening staff" Zach gave us luxury service the morning staff service was not. Really wanted to rate them a 5 star and until the morning it would have been. Would we stay here again? We all decided to splurge and reserve a total of 5 Airstreams amongst our families since we didn't want to rough it and camp inside Joshua Tree National Park. The AutoCamp was gated and we felt completely safe roaming around the grounds into the wee hours of the morning. We saw several families having BBQ and just congregating and enjoying themselves on their patio space just right outside the Airstreams. The location was perfect and was only about another 15 minute drive to one of the entrances to the National Park. The large fire pit just right outside the lobby was a nice touch and allowed our group to just hang out, talk and enjoy bottles of wine during the night time. Unfortunately, the pool was closed and had to be cleaned due to a child throwing up earlier so we were not able to enjoy any pool time during the summer heat. The bed inside the airstream was firm and comfortable enough but for someone used to hotels it was still an adjustment in the cramped quarters. I also caused a lot of noise walking back and forth inside the airstream to the restroom/shower. Nonetheless, it was a fun experience that I am glad I tried. Will I do it again for the price? Most likely not, but it was fun while it lasted. read more

We went in early June. Mornings are nice and evening are windy but nice. During the day of course teaches 100 F. Airstream is not too bad. Space is good enough for two people. There is a bedroom and a sofa bed. Definitely not for 4 adults pool is nice and cool. It's not heated during the summer. Don't try early check in. When they mean 4 pm check in, they mean it as looks lit it takes time to get the RV's ready. You can get there early and use the swimming pool if desired. When we went there were a lot of kids definitely a family place. It was a decent stay, quiet and peaceful. read more

Went glamping for the first time! My girlfriend loved the idea of tiny home living and the newly opened auto camp filled that void perfectly. The staff were super pleasant and made a really good impression. They made us feel welcome and made sure we had no problems with our stay. The airstreams were all new and very clean, they had everything a homebody like myself would need to not feel so uncomfortable with "camping". Each airstream includes a dining area outside and a firepit. (Bring your own firewood as it is not included). I was also able to charge my Tesla with one of the 4 EV chargers in the dirt parking area. There are 2 tesla chargers and 2 J1772 chargers for EVs so I was not worried about my battery. I highly recommend this if you are looking for an escape from busy city life! read more

It is a plot of flat dry land right off the highway. sure the airstreams are a novel and cool idea. they are nicely appointed but things did not work or were useless. Not much close by unless you consider a dollar store. Heads up. You are give a little cart to truck your luggage to your airstream...so if you are in the way back...you going to be lugging stuff a long way. One and Done! read more

We had an amazing time at this location. This is definitely glamping at its finest. We made the reservation online and packed expecting the worst since we were coming with our 2 yr old toddler. We get to the place and was pleasantly surprised that it was located inside the city limits. Check in was quick and easy. They have wagons that you can use to load and transport your things to your airstream. Thank goodness because ours was on the very end of the campsite. They have several air streams positioned fairly close to each other. There are also small cabin rentals that are closer to the main check in building. This location has a pool as well. The airstream had everything we needed from dishes, cooking utensils, towels, sheets, and more. We had a blast celebrating little man's second birthday in style. There's also WiFi available. Only down side was that it was so close to the city limits it was difficult to see all the stars in the sky. The location was perfect to explore the nearby hiking and off road trails. We went a couple years ago when this location first opened. Unfortunately along with inflation their daily rates have gone up too. It's a great experience but be prepared to spend a pretty penny these days. read more

What a find! If you like the outdoors but want to be able to retreat back to a unique dwelling other than a motel or campground, autocamp is for you. AutoCamp offers the comforts of a high end hotel with the experience of camping. The customer service is excellent with a large welcoming lobby and community hangout area. Outside there's another fire pit for people to hang out and socialize. There's also an outdoor pool, but we were there in November, so it was way too cold. The best part is where you stay. If you've never stayed in an airstream trailer before the price of admission is worth every penny. The trailers are so cool! Inside, you have every modern amenity you would expect in a high-end hotel - there is no roughing it. Although it's a trailer, it's unique to auto camp where you can use as much water in the kitchen and the shower without worrying about your water tank. You also don't have to empty the gray and black tanks. I believe each trailer empties into a septic tank. Regardless, we never had to empty the tanks ourselves. I didn't take very good pictures, but sharing a few below. I definitely recommend this place and would go back again the next time I plan a visit to Joshua tree or any other AutoCamp location. read more

Had a weekend sister trip here at Otto camp and it was so much fun. I loved the idea of roughing it a little bit with a few Glamping amenities to keep us comfortable. It was extremely hot that weekend and I was so happy to walk into our airstream that already had the AC on so that we could cool down right away. The airstream was quaint and just enough for both of us to be able to enjoy relax and watch TV or read. In the morning we use the electric water heater to make our coffee which was really really good quality coffee. Our first night we went up to the main house to get some s'mores kits and firewood. We did have a little trouble starting our fire but once it got started we were able to enjoy our s'mores. By the way the kits have artesian marshmallows or chocolate I can't remember and they were truly truly amazing. I will never be able to eat regular s'mores again. It was really nice to sit outside in our chairs by the fire and catch up. I know a lot of people had spoken out about the noise from the highway but really I've barely even heard it. I think it all depends on your sensitivity to noise. We didn't use the pool but we did hang out in the main room and in the front area for a little bit and the next day I did do check out a bike to ride around the AutoCamp. The front house staff was truly amazing from the moment we checked in to all the times we went in there for supplies to checking out we really never had bad service and they were always willing to help in anyway. There is a good variety of wine drinks and other refreshments in the main house as well as some Eats that you can order. They also have games cornhole and other things to keep your self busy. We went when it was extremely hot but I do believe you would be able to enjoy more of these amenities if you go later in the season when it's not as hot during the day. The accommodations are nice but very expensive for what you get. They should at least provide either a percolator or keurig in the campers because they dont even make coffee in cafe until 7am. Hikers are early morning people and get started very early. You pay dearly for the firewood as well. The cafe is not really a cafe I do t see any food. You order at lobby and wait. Bad reviews on food as well as I read on. You are close to other campers and the main road which is busy. Not sure id be back for the price. I could have stayed in a four star hotel for the price! read more

Good, but room for improvement. My husband and I have stayed at the Autocamp in Yosemite, so we compare all other AutoCamps to that experience (which was really excellent!). So it appears with all AutoCamps, the retail product of the Airstream and the look/feel inside, right down to the French press coffee pot, the throw pillow on the bed, the tile in the bathroom....a mirror image of our stay in Yosemite. Consistency helps manage the expectation of what some might find scary about sleeping in basically a tin can in the desert. I liked this consistency. Torin was the exceptional point person employed at AutoCamp that really delivered the level of customer service that I think the founders of the AutoCamp brand are expecting. He alone saved this review from being a 3. Friendly, almost jolly, warm, welcoming and wanting to be helpful the best he can. Not everyone at the front desk reception area is quite as approachable or really equipped with the customer service touch. Some things are a bit out of Torin's control though.... the garbage from the prior guest under our kitchen sink that had not been emptied, the dead bolt lock that was not latching on our door, the frig set so cold that it practically froze a bottle of pinot I put in there because I did not think to check it or that it took 24 hours for someone to tell me that I could not send a postcard from their property (after they were in possession of my card and I happened to see that it was still sitting on the front desk, 24 hours later). None of these things are deal breakers, but thus why despite that we really like the AutoCamp brand, this property based on our two night stay warrants a score of a weak 4, with room for improvement. All of these points are easily remedied and avoidable, but as the saying goes, you only have one chance to make a first impression. And this was our first impression. But with my gentle critique out of the way, we did enjoy chillin at the pool (a little soft sounding cool music might have enhanced the ambiance out there in the sunshine) and sitting outside our Airstream in the evening, eyes focused to the sky to star watch. AutoCamps are unique and cool in the sea of options to find a bed for your butt. Maybe not in a rush to stay at this location again, but we will continue to venture to other AutoCamps and encourage others to discover the brand for themselves. read more

Best hotel experience ever! I planned a surprise engagement for my now fiancé at Autocamp Joshua Tree and the entire staff there worked hard to make the experience magical. I had flowers and fake candles sent via Amazon and they did such an amazing job decorating our Airstream for the big surprise. One of the staff even brought stuff from her own home to decorate with. They also played along with all the twists & turns of my surprise plan so that she had no idea what was happening even after she walked in the room. 5 stars across the board! We will remember that day and the staff there literally FOREVER. read more

Been to a few glamping sites before and Autocamp provides the best amenities thus far. I had high expectations due to the visit to the Yosemite site when it first opened. This site in Joshua tree is quite different. Maybe because we tried the suite this time instead of the air stream, everything felt bigger and wider. The living pods are further apart. One thing we really liked was the free EV charging stations on site. The club house is cute from the exterior, but I would say the Yosemite one is better inside. At JT there is a heated pool and bike rental. I love the fire place and the picnic bench in front of the suite. The insulation of the suite is way better than the airstreams so it felt warm inside even at night. I remember feeling cold during shower last time inside the airstream. Just a reminder, if you run the hot water for too long, it will turn cold. The site landscaping felt right in a desert. The only down side to this site is that it is really close to the residential area and you won't be able to feel like you're at a remote place. Up side is that it's super close to the National park entrance. 5 mins to the visitor center. read more

The area seems a little sketchy but once inside you feel safe. The campsite is full of airstreams and some tiny homes. Its very clean and well kept. It was such a fun experience for us as a family of 3. We didn't have to pack so much because you have everything in the airstreams. There's a mini refrigerator, microwave and little safe. The couch fold out to a bed. The only complaint is that the heater was a little loud in the airstream other than that we had such a great time. There was live music. Chris (bartender) was extremely friendly and went above and beyond for us. There was also an astronomer, Steve that was so knowledgeable and so great at what he does. It was a very neat experience to be able to look at the stars and different planets. My 8 yr old wanted me to make sure we give Steve and Chris a 10/10. Thanks Chris and Steve! read more

In theory, this is a very cool concept! It feels like an upscale rustic experience which I think people are looking for when they travel to national parks, and want to be comfortable in nature. Traveling alone with 3 young kids, I was hopeful this would give my kids a unique experience while providing me with a little additional support/cushion during what I expected to be a fun but overwhelming trip. I have no complaints about the airstream itself. It's outfitted well, comfortable, and met my expectations. However, the service and how things were handled was not the customer service I was expecting from a place that in total comes to about $500 a night. We went to use our shower our first night, and we noticed a large ball of dirty hair, on the shower floor. I immediately went to the front desk, who assured me they would take care of it immediately I kept my kids playing in the lobby area and waited about 45 min to return to our airstream. When we did return, and checked the bathroom it was clear nobody had been there to clean. I called the front desk (also not easy to reach, you need to go through the main customer service of AutoCamp who will then transfer you to the Joshua Tree location). They didn't know why the shower hadn't been cleaned but assured me they would send someone again. About 20 min later someone did show up and cleaned the shower. However, I was surprised when nobody from management followed up with me to apologize or confirm that things had been taken care of. And frankly, had expected some kind of apology whether in the form of monetary compensation or perhaps a meal on the house. The menu in "The Kitchen" their restaurant, advertised fresh, local, and yummy food. I was disappointed when the pizza they served was a frozen pizza they had defrosted, and the avocado on the avocado toast, was not fresh avocado, but the store brought processed kind that comes in a plastic tub. This was surprising to me, since the food was advertised as local and fresh. I think given the price it makes more sense to stay at an Airbnb, because the added benefits you are paying for, that of a "resort," (food on sight, and customer service) fall short. read more

Really teetering between 3 and 4 stars on this one. We've talked about an AutoCamp stay for years and finally made the trip. We had thought the location would be a bit more - well, something - but you're essentially just right off the main road. The property itself is completely fine, nothing exceptional, but there is quite a bit of road noise. The airstreams are exactly what you'd expect. Cute and simple. Our only complaint was the AC unit is dreadfully loud and it was really challenging at night particularly since it doesn't cool off. Our poor dog was actually afraid of the noise. Our other complaint was the size of the pool. It was much smaller than it looks in photos so once you get another couple or a family their space gets tight quickly. I will say the staff was excellent and we really enjoyed the time we had there, but it might be better for just 1-2 nights vs a longer stay. read more
