We came here on a holiday weekend and the place was pretty busy. The friend that we stayed with…read moresaid that the hotel room we stayed in was the fanciest room we'd stayed in. We had paid the extra $40 or so to get a room on the second floor and to our surprise, the double queen room came with a nice natural spring tub and was very spacious. The pools are open late with the back part closing at midnight while the main pool and hot spas are always open. We were able to go to the pools late at night and early in the morning and it was nice to have the room right there. We saw a few people who just got the day spa passes asking about the rooms and expressing regret that they hadn't just booked rooms here. Everything was really nice including the staff and service when we ordered food and drinks near the poolside. The skyline is beautiful and to be there on July 4th, we could see the fireworks in various parts of the sky. There is plenty of parking but it is a little odd of a location as it is mainly in a residential neighborhood with a few options for food. But they maintain the property well and it was a beautiful stay at a reasonable rate. We would recommend staying here!

I was hoping the desert air would make the impossible, possible. Arrived on a day with nothing but blue skies. They had lockers to store my belongings; robes and slippers are included for the day. They offer facials, massages, and body treatments. It was so nice to unwind and bask in simple pleasures that life has to offer. I took a dip in all the pools from one to the next; I love mineral pools. Something about this mineral water feels like magic. Time just froze. It was as if my whole life led up to this moment. Nevertheless, sky gazing is allowed and in fact encouraged to watch the clouds drift. Birds chirping was music to my ears. The plants were oxygenating and the landscape was therapeutic. Staff and guests were friendly. Prime spot for spa-goers. Welcoming inspiration. Get inspired today. You know people are known to see water in the middle of the desert...Was it all a mirage? Did it really happen? I think I just talked myself into going back--I need a redo. #DontBeBlueBeYou #IndulgeInBliss #BestVersionOfMe "As you walk through the desert of life, may you always find your oasis!" Staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The rate includes a buffet breakfast and lunch that's ordered from a local place. The canteen has beverages available 24/7. Other guests were friendly and personable as well. It is clothing optional but we wore suits most of the time with no issues. Seemed like mostly couples with a few singles sprinkled in. Really I can't say enough nice things about our stay, the property and the staff.

Love the color scheme of yellow, blues, and greens. My boyfriend and I's room was nice. Love the space. Cozy and comfortable. Yellow is the main character of the resort. From the room doors, outside umbrella, and towels. The pool was perfect. Not too deep 4ft I'm fine with that. The hot tub was 3ft and always group of men hanging out. Every day they have breakfast and lunch for the guests which is part of the deal. The resort is 20 minutes away from downtown Palm Springs which it's perfect. My first time visiting California and Palm Springs. I'm looking forward to coming back here in 2027.

So what differentiates this from other Palm Springs area resorts? The service, by far. The property is phenomenal and the upkeep and maintenance is good, on par with other places. For example, at the pool, we found straws from the previous guest, etc. not a deal breaker, but something to observe. But everyone I interacted with genuinely seemed like they wanted us to have a good time. If it was fake, it was very good acting. From the valet to check in, amazing! Javier checked us in. 7 out of 5. Stress free. The pool area, 8 out of 5. Off the charts. Attention management: I stay at a lot of hotels and resorts. And though I'm sometimes overly generous with my ratings, I can honestly say Dru is the best server I've had, ever. She should run the joint! I wish I could give her a raise. Evan was pretty bad ass too and should be commended! Will I be back? 100 percent. Amazing property, rooms are great, staff is awesome. Food is good, but avoid the breakfast buffet at Rockwood. $40 for powdered eggs is no bueno! Other than that, you'll love it here!

The staff was attentive, and everything felt well organized. We had dinner at Aquifer65 & JW Sushi Bar one night, and it was fantastic. We also enjoyed dinner at Mikado Japanese Steakhouse, where the hibachi experience was both entertaining and delicious. The rooms are a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the property, but the overall experience more than makes up for it. The pools, grounds, and amenities make this a great place to spend a long weekend. I'd definitely recommend staying here--just be prepared if you're visiting in the summer. The 104-degree desert heat is no joke, so plan on spending plenty of time in the pool and staying hydrated!

Came here on recommendation from a friend. The pools are beautiful and it's not crowded. Few guests, probably intentionally limited. The spas are great. We reserved a wood hot tub and a private tub (free reservations when you stay overnight) but honestly didn't even need it since there were plenty of tubs open. So did we need hot springs when it was 90F out? Not really but it was lovely. Staff friendly, warm welcome at the gate and reception. Much appreciated cold drinks from the bar and limited poolside and from your hot tub drink service. Restaurant served up nice sounding food with good elements but not quite out together well. Like some mushy forbidden rice under fantastically prepared lamb, or rubbery fried Halloumi on a very crisp and perfectly dressed bed of arugula. Not sure why none of it worked together but on paper it looked great. In real life was more unique. Overall a very relaxing stay. It's really close to J tree so pretty far from LA and San Diego which is great if you want / need privacy. Grounds are lovely with a duck and turtle pond. Tons of upsells here ($400 massage? I'll just fly to Thailand thanks). A couple free classes we didn't attend. 7:45 am yoga not happening on a retreat where we sleep in.

SO MANY COCKROACHES…read more There are A LOT of cockroaches here. When the sun goes down, they're running all over the walkways. It's a bit unnerving. They're also in the rooms - we found 3 in our room, told staff, they said they would send someone but never did. They just said "oh no! Apologies for the inconvenience" They're also in the pools. Our last night, sitting in the shallow meditation pool, I felt something on my shoulder, swiped it away and discovered it was the most massive 2.5 inch cockroach on me frantically trying to swim away. It was my worst nightmare. After that, every little thing I felt I kept thinking was another cockroach crawling on me. Really soured our experience here. Yes the grounds are beautiful, the waters are incredible, restaurant food was good, the bed was super comfortable, and our favorite part is the pools are open 22 hours a day (closed from 6-8am for cleaning) which means we can enjoy them late at night when most people are sleeping - a rare thing to do at a resort as most places prevent guests from enjoying any public water therapy after 9 or 10 at night. It has the potential to be a really amazing place but after seeing probably 30+ cockroaches on the property, in our room, and then crawling on me, I just can't really recommend this place as a peaceful sanitary getaway. I mean this place is infested and the resort doesn't seem to really care how much it's negatively impacting their guests. So if they don't care, then I'm certainly not going to be a patron of their business. If they reach out and try to make it right, if they improve then I'll update my review.

I travel quite a bit for work which requires me to stay in hotels regularly. For how long this place has been around, I feel like the condition of the rooms and cleanliness is on par with most places that are getting to the point of needing those bigger renovations and updates. Hotels can only do so much in terms of piecemeal repairs and updates, and anything near water tends to get battered by the elements a little bit more than other places. I look forward to the dock repairs, so I can get back to catching bluegill, crappie, trout, and bass with my boy. A lot of great memories here. I hope to keep them coming.

First, the biggest issue: roaches and spiders. Yes, you read that correctly. There were both roaches and spiders in my room. When I reported it to the front desk, I was shocked by the response. The employee simply said, "That's common here," as if it were completely normal. Instead of offering a meaningful solution, they handed me a new toothbrush because a roach had crawled all over mine. And that was it! Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. I've contacted the corporate office and hope they'll offer a refund or some other form of resolution. The food was decent, but it was overpriced. You won't find much on the menu for under $13. On a positive note, the spa was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed my treatments, and the staff there were warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Along with the kitchen staff, servers, and bartenders, they provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the front desk, whose response to a serious cleanliness issue fell far short of what I expected. The furniture is falling apart and the floor is stained. The cleanliness of this place is unfortunately subpar. There were random rags just laying around for some reason, and no one picked them up (so I did). Very disappointing for the amount of money I spent...
