Belle has a nice large facility that is clean, modern and comfortable. This facility is hard to get to as you have to navigate the back alleys. Once you emerge on the building you have to by pass all the open bays to get to the shore front. Once this day there were four desk people working. All were professional in fees and conduct. The were eager to help. I listened to many stories on why a car had problems and what solutions they offered. All were done with respect and non pressure. There were about 10 tech jams working today. Plenty help help to process scheduled appointments and walk ins. Today in choose to make an appointment on line. It was easy to do. They seemed prepared to start my work by time the appointment time arrived. My day was costly than I planned. I feel like they were being honest about my issues. The cost seemed a lot but probably fair. The work took over 3.5 hours. On the down side...I noticed the all important sign going into the shop that required people to wear safety glasses. 9 of 12 people didn't wear safety glasses including 4 management/desk types. read more

Returned my keys and didn't mention damage to the rear bumper. I went back in and asked for the manager to look at it. He took a picture and said they were going to pull camera footage and call me. After waiting a few days I called them and they gave me the same story. They had better things to do I guess. So I figured I'd call corporate and wouldn't ya know same story. Have been out to both locations in Fort Wayne on Lima and Maysville Road and waited to be greeted when there's 3 to 4 people standing there. They say it will be a three hour wait to look to even see if my tire needs plugged. They didn't even offer to see if I could even get it plugged or if it had to have a new tire? It's definitely changed from when we went before for all our tire needs. They used to be much friendlier. This new staff at both locations are not professional and rude. I will not be back Unfortunately. I asked when I could at least have it looked at and he said oh it will be like three hours. I said to even look at it he said yes. That's insane. Took my truck there for an alignment tire rotation and to get a tire pressure sensor change I canceled the sensor change first thing in the morning and I get a call about two hours later for them trying to sell me not just one BUT THREE sensors when the other read fine after I arrived I noticed they did not switch the rear center caps from the front so they would cover my locking hubs the guy was super cool about it and then came out to take pictures then I opened the driver door and there was grease on my nice leather seats go to start the truck and the hood ajar notice pops up... they didn't even close the hood all the way major safety hazard no attention to detail will never go back read more

Went in for an oil change. They spilled oil all over my engine. There was a puddle of oil on the floor when they raised car up on hoist after filling with new oil. Then they had trouble putting under body cover back on. When they were finished they parked it outside and returned my keys. Before I left, I checked under the car and found fasteners missing from the underbody cover. They found them in the trash can in the shop. One positive thing is they refunded my money but I will never go back. read more

Took my vehicle somewhere else, a trusted place, to get an oil change, brakes, and tire rotation. When I got my car back it drive extremely rough. They told me it was bc the vehicle's rear control arms needed adjusted. They sent it off to a well known tire place to have that done for me. That place told me I needed new control arms. I then took it to Belle Tire and they fixed the issue for $80, turns out they were adjustable after all. That did it for me, they have my business moving forward. read more

needed a new tire on my Audi Convertible, ended up purchasing all new set with warranty. when they installed the new tires, the new attendant did not allow the lift to flatten all the way before pulling my car out of the port and ripped my entire front bumper from beautiful car. the worse part is that they asked me if it was in that condition when i arrived. got free tires that day and repair was paid for as well, after reporting to my insurance. read more

As I no longer have the car with these tires, I want to finally share how this business sold me a set of faulty tires, refused to take responsibility, and cost me over $800. I went to Belle Tire for the first time in 2020, just looking to replace two tires. Previously I had purchased all my tires from Costco and never had an issue, and it's a huge regret that I didn't do so again. I already had it in Belle, they convinced me it needed 4 tires. I asked for a good all-season tire, they recommended a brand I wasn't familiar with, Sumitomo, but the assured me they were good tires. I don't think I had even had them a month before one blew out. I was on vacation and went to another Belle Tire location. They refused to cover this as I hadn't purchased their ridiculously expensive warranty package, this is over $100 when it is included at Costco and even places like Discount Tire. I sucked it up, paid another $100+ for a tire and went on my way. It wasn't long after that another one blew out, on a brand new road, no road hazards, nothing, smooth pavement. This blew out so violently it bent my rim, the first blowout had also dented a rim. Again I had to pay for another tire. They absolutely refused to accept there was something wrong with the tires, said there was "no recall" on them. I took it to a different shop for a second opinion and too see what could be done about the rims. He pointed out there was bulging on the inside wall of yet another one of the first 4 tires, it was also about to blow at any time. At this point I had to escalate with customer service at Belle. The only solution they could give me was to exchange for 4 different "better" Mastercraft tires. They did not cover the two I had to purchase, acknowledge anything was faulty with the tires, and I had to pay at least $500 to replace my wheels as they couldn't be repaired. I also had to pay for their stupid warranty because I did not want to go through this again. Low and behold, I never had an issue with the tires they replaced them with for the next two years. I am convinced, and another mechanic agreed, that they sold me a faulty set of tires. If they had taken responsibility from the beginning this review would be much different, but they did not. The fact you have to pay so much for "road hazard" warranty (this was not a road hazard issue) is also ridiculous. Go elsewhere. read more

I have used this Belle Tire for basic tire and maintenance on all of my vehicles for the past three years. I have always been treated with courtesy, fairness, and made to feel like they care about me as a customer. If ever I have a problem, they make it right. This recent visit I was having them recharge my AC and repair a bead leak on a tire that they had replaced last year. I left the vehicle with them and it was ready later that day. Unfortunately the AC system issue was in the instrument panel HVAC, not a leak. They suggested I go to the dealer for this (because it would be extensive, beyond their tech's abilities). The bead leak was fixed and they took time to explained what was wrong. To my surprise, there was no charge for the diagnostic or repair. I cannot say enough good things about this location. I took my 2014 in for a tire repair and a battery (battery worked fine but dealer recommended I replace it before winter). Since they were going to remove the tire I asked that they check the brakes. These guys saw me coming - I ended up with a new alternator and rotors on the front end. My bill was over $1,100!!! They charged more than twice the retail cost of the alternator and rotors. When I asked what was wrong with the alternator they couldn't tell me - just that when they ran the diagnostic it said it was bad. I will warn everyone I know not to have work done by them. Buying a set of tires might work out but I would NEVER have repair work done there again. I will always get a second opinion in the future. read more

Belle Tire won't do you up like Discount Tire so that's a few stars knocked off. That's a big few stars People! No free balance and rotation done free for the life of the tire. No free flat repairs from anybody off the street. Why would I come to Belle Tire? Me wouldn't. Plus they do auto repair work here, so they will be telling you this and that is wrong with your car while getting tires replaced. Discount tire don't work on cars so you're in luck. Traveling from Indianapolis to Ft Wayne I ran over a nail and had to install the donut spare tire. I pulled into Belle Tire an hour before closing, and they were able to get my car in and repair the tire. When it was finished, they sent my on my way with no charge for the repair. I would definitely not recommend getting tires at this Belle tire store. I looked online to get four new tires and got a $40 coupon. I told the store about the coupon when I called and scheduled an appointment. They said I could use the $40 coupon. After spending $936.59 on four brand new tires they would not allow me to use the $40 coupon. I would've definitely gone somewhere else! It's not the $40 but it's the fact that they did not stand behind their word. I will definitely not ever use them again, nor recommend them to anyone. read more

Bell Tire is one of the few places I trust with my car! My dad is a mechanic and is out of state, so he always sends me here! They take care of whatever I need and are always so kind! As a woman it is hard to find a place that doesn't over charge you. They take me seriously even when I describe what's going on with my car and sound like I am crazy. My oil change and tire rotation was done properly but it seemed like it took forever. The service tech that was working on my van disappeared after the oil change and the customer service representative had to go out in the shop to assist with the tire rotation. I was wearing my US Army Retired hat. Every other time I have come into Belle Tire I have been offered the military discount. Not the case this time. Might try someplace else next time. Great initial customer service for purchasing tires. However, when I came in to have the tires put on, they took their sweet time doing so. I was initially told it would all take an hour and a half, which is great. I love that they gave me a time frame. However, they went way over on time and my car sat outside the window for at least 45 min before my name was called to pay and get my keys. I am not a happy camper. I have places to be tonight and this is ridiculous. If my vehicle is done, get me out of here. This would make room for more customers, but instead I must wait. read more

Stopped in with my flat tire and was helped immediately, told how long it would be until my tire could be looked at, got a call that it was fixed, drove back to get it installed and was met outside because they remembered me. My car was immediately taken back and the tire installed. They did all of that for NO CHARGE, even though the tire wasn't even purchased from them. These guys are con artists and should be ashamed of themselves! About a year ago we had all our brakes pads replaced at Belle Tire. You supposedly get pads for life of the vehicle. If something goes wrong within the first year or 24,000 miles they will fix and replace for free. Fast forward to just over a year, and not even close to 24,000 miles. We started to notice a squeak/chirping noise that's usually associated with brakes going out. Took our car in. It was really busy and they weren't able to get it in. Not a problem. Completely understand. Left car overnight and they call us the next morning saying that don't hear any noise and the break pads and everything look fine. Pretty strange.... We go back to pick up the car, we get 30 seconds down the road and guess what? We hear the noise again! Take the car right back to them and ask if someone can ride with us to hear the noise. Guy rides with us and we didn't even make it out of their parking lot before he heard the noise. They have the car another 5 hours or so. They tell us it's the CD axle assembly is bad and it's going to cost about $400 to fix. I think I need a second opinion. A few days later I get it in at First Class in Waterloo, amazing people by the way! They call and tell us that the only thing wrong with it was a caliper that was installed wrong when we got our brakes done and it was just wearing down over time. The bill for this was $41 dollars!! They didn't need to order anything and charged us for 1 hour of labor. Long story short. If they tell you it's going to cost $300-$500, you may want to get a second opinion! I think they're good with selling tires and installing them, but that's about it. Wouldn't trust them to do anything else.... read more

Belle promotes rebates to compete. Avoid these incentives and go elsewhere where this is not needed. The rebate amounts you get are misrepresented and then the rebate cards they send expire in less than a year- so if you overlook that you get nothing back which happened to me. I had the worst car problem ever, but somehow these guys fixed it! Please read the whole story! I have an Acura MDX that I do love but it started to have some steering issues. We had Belle Tire look at it before and they replaced a few parts and everything worked again. When it started to act up again, I went right back to see if maybe it was still under warranty. It was not because something new had broken. They guys replaced the rack and pinion plus a valve and that should have been that, but it was not. The car seemed to work fine on two test drives, but it started acting up again on a third. The guys would not let me just take my car back because it was not working. They kept at it and let me know what was going on with the repair. The process went past a few days and took a lot longer. The crew did not raise the price past the original estimate! After a week battling an unprecedented steering problem, it still would not work. They did not abandon me and cut their losses. They kept at it and found another part that was impacting the steering. This new problem did raise the price, but the guy at both Lima Rd. and Illinois Rd. Belle Tire worked together and got me a car that is better than when purchased (I bought it used). I felt so bad for them because it was such a difficult car and they had even gotten me a rental car for a few days because mine was just being a true nightmare. I have worked with them on many issues. They are often packed and I was told to never really trust an empty garage! They might be a bit above other garage prices, but the service and dedication I truly appreciate. I know each person can have a different interaction, but mine was great and I wanted to share. I went in to get an oil change today. This was my first visit so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the staff seemed fairly polite and straightforward. When asked if I would be waiting, I said yes, and they said have a seat and they'd tell me when it's ready. I ended up waiting for 2.5 hrs to get my car back. Which is fine because they had a full garage, but would've appreciated an update so I could come back later. Will likely not come back. read more
