DONT GO HERE!!!! Cheap prices = cheap work. They booked me at $236 and 20 minutes into they say they can't do it because of "clips" needed for this vehicle. You didn't know that before I came? This isn't your first windshield and this isn't a 2020 brand new vehicle. Then he's like, they booked the job too cheap it was as an error on our part and we are sorry. Now I have to drive an hour after wasting an hour. Then I the silver clip that they were toying with was bent and dirt exposed. He says it was like that before (pic below). So that line of dirt just just came out of nowhere? No that's the line that was there after the bent piece couldn't go back in place. Seriously...just pay a little bit more for professionalism and people who actually know what they are doing. I repeat...do not go here!!!! read more

I was skeptical at first because of their low prices but after reading reviews I chose Auto Glass Now for my 2008 Highlander's new windshield. I almost went to SafeLite, but Auto Glass Now was half the price, the customer service was much better, and my windshield has had zero problems three months since the installation. They also let me pick the manufacturer of the glass, whereas Satellite just has their generic Satellite brand. I'll definitely be coming back here whenever I need to get a new windshield and referring my friends. read more

Don't use this company. The website and greeting while you wait on hold says mobile installation is free. Yet when you try to book for windsheild replacement, the cost for mobile service is suddenly $70. Also, there needs to be some sort of approval process from the manager. Find another repair shop. My appointment was @2pm and they didn't pull my car into the garage until 4pm. There were at least 3 cars that came in after i came in and left before me. The parking lot sucks. Cars on top of each other. But the biggest complain is I got the windshield replace on Wednesday and the same windshield crack the following Friday, not even a week. Took it back the following week and the tech told me he would take a pic, send it to the corporate office. The tech was very rude, walk away as i was talking and never sent the pic to corporate. I spoke with 3 people at the corporate office, 2 which were pleasant but the last one was very nasty. I WOULD NOT REFER NO ONE TO THE LAHAM, MARYLAND LOCATION. They are not going to replace the windshield nor are they going to refund me. The tech said a rock hit the windshield when the crack started at the top part that is under the tip of roof! NEVER AGAIN! i literally refer 4 other people after i got the windshield but i have told them to go somewhere else. read more

This place is outstanding. I had an 8 am appointment for my back window. The molding was crumbled. I was told that the entire window had to be replaced. But they looked at it and say they could save my glass and just put new molding on. They could order it from the dealer or I could find it cheaper and they would still install it. I have a 2007 BMW 525I, I order the modling online, they installed it with no problem. That saved be about $300.00. If you need your glass repaired come here. They are very professional, fair price and very good work. read more

I was given a referral to Auto Glass Now in Lanham and scheduled and appointment with a customer service agent. My appointment was for 10am. I showed up at 9:30 and the re e were 2 people waiting in the lobby. I stood at the front desk for 3 minutes before I was greeted by a young girl sitting behind a computer in the back with a bad attitude. Then an older gentleman walked through he door and greeted me right way and told me it would be 2 hours before my vehicle was ready. I sat happily and waited. I took a trip to the restroom as I had coffee this morning and it was disgusting. Upon my wait another younger girl showed up for work where you could tell she was being trained. I overheard Ms. Attitude ignore her questions and treat her very badly as if she was bothering her. She also played loud music from her phone which the older guy asked her to turn off because he couldn't hear his phone calls. Around 11:20am I was told the windshield that was ordered for my vehicle did not have rain senso, which I specifullay told the over the phone rep when I made the appoint. My options were to wait until 1pm for the part to come in or reshedule. Being that I had taken the day off to get the windshield replaced that was not an iption. So I left pretty pissed and called Safelite who scheduled me an appointment for the next day where they would come to my home. You get what you pay for!! When I arrived, they took my car right in, so I figured I would be in and out in no time. Waiting waiting and watching people who came in after me come and leave. After waiting an hour and half, I inquired and was told that the glass broke when replacing it so someone had to go pick another one up. I should have been informed of this matter up front. That's poor customer service. While waiting I'm listening to the manager talk to other customers and employees and his attitude is getting worse and worse! I was SO impressed with Auto Glass Now in Lanham. I was greeted promptly, and my car was taken in right away. Everyone at the shop was really nice. The glass on my car looks awesome, truly, I am very impressed. They also did a great job cleaning out the broken glass from my car. Tisha at the front was wonderful- her level of customer service was really second to none and she was very knowledgeable about the process and my car. From my first phone contact with the kind and knowledgeable Ms. Cynthia at the call center to the completed repair I couldn't have been more pleased. I was grateful to get an appointment the same day I called. The price was between $25-200 less than the other estimates I got. And when I arrived Ms. Tisha greeted me promptly and pleasantly. The shop started my work right away. Robert, the technician who did the work on my car, even went the extra mile and reattached the rear view mirror on my driver's side that had been damaged in a separate incident. On top of all this, I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Called to set up a required appointment and was told to come the next day. Arrived early and was told there was no record of the appointment. After I offered to come back another time I was told they could definitely fit me in, no problem. My car was moved into a service bay an hour after arrival. After another hour I was told, "your appointment was at another location but we're about to go get your new glass in a few minutes." In other words, it took them two hours just to find an excuse for not getting the glass when I signed the service contract, delaying the whole process. Meanwhile, two other customers with pre-scheduled appointments came in and were treated in similar slow fashion; when one of them pressed for an explanation I could sense his agitation. Finally, after three hours, my car was ready and I was told to go out and take a look. The plastic fairing, which I admit was not in perfect condition when I arrived, had been totally cut or ground away from the windshield's lower edge - presumably to make the installation easier for the tech. When I said, "That is NOT the way it was when I brought it in", the tech responded with, "They all get brittle from sunlight and break. Fords, BMWs, VWs". I turned around, went back into the office, and asked the CSR to come outside. The three of us had another short exchange, with no resolution. Ultimately, 15% was deducted from my bill but now I will have to replace the fairing. I'm unsure of the cost as of writing this entry. I experienced a similarly executed appointment at another Auto Glass Now branch about a year ago. Arrived on time, waited a couple of hours before they went to pick up the glass; in this case their source was further away which added to the delay. Given the time lag we all experienced, this enterprise really ought to be known as Careless Auto Glass. The prices are certainly attractive, but go elsewhere if you value your time and property. read more

I recently had an extremely frustrating experience at Auto Glass Now in Lanham, MD. I have requested compensation for the resulting damage to my car. On Saturday, March 24, 2018, I brought my 2009 Toyota Avalon in to have a new windshield installed. (#Ref.#060-0250440V3). I picked the car up later that day, when I was notified that the work was complete. I drove the car without incident until it rained on Monday, April 16, 2018. As I entered my car I noticed that the dashboard was wet. Upon further inspection the cup holders were filled with water. I returned to the Lanham location on Tuesday, April 17th and they resealed the windshield. (#060-4117107V7). Exactly one month later on Wednesday, May 16th, water was again leaking into my car from the windshield. This time I was unable to drive my car because of the water coming in. My front seats were soaked and by Monday the car smelled of mold and mildew. I returned once again on Thursday, May 24th to the Lanham location and asked that the windshield be replaced and not resealed. The windshield replacement happened without incident. Afterwards I spoke with a Manager named Quint and asked him to inspect the car to show him the seats were wet and to have him acknowledge that the car had a moldy smell, which he did. I told him that I wanted Auto Glass Now to pay for my car to be professionally sanitized to ensure there was no mold. He readily agreed and asked me to wait one week to let it dry completely. He also said he would call me in a week's time with a resolution. Quint never called. Each time I called him he gave an excuse as to why he had not been able to do anything. Since then I have called him several times but he was never available. It has been nearly three months since my initial windshield replacement and this issue has not been resolved. My car reeks of mildew and could possibly be a health hazard to me and my passengers. I would like Auto Glass Now to pay for my car to be sanitized as soon as possible. Please contact me within seven days and let me know if you will honor my request. read more

This place does not do the job correctly. Make sure to take your car to your dealership after for a checkup on their work. We took our car to have the passenger glass window replaced because it was broken into. Subsequently, we took the car to the dealership for the annual maintenance checkup. The dealership found 3 major mistakes with the way that this business fixed the glass window. Dealership gave us a written report, which we provided for Autoglass to correct. They did agree to correct it but we had to waste over 1 hour in total going to Lanham to get the window fixed. A simple come out and repairbeinshiedl turned into a nightmare. They kept rescheduling my appt. Then, after they cancelled, told me I could just bring the car in and they would give a discount. As much as I love discounts, I scheduled them to come to me not the other way around. Then another appt was scheduled, cancelled because it rained. When it stopped, I was told I would get serviced. Well, after waiting I called back again only to be told they would not come that day and would see if they could put me towards the top of the list, another day lost. Multiple calls later, driver calls and says I'm sorry I'm on my way, was calling the wrong number and arrives to do the work. He comes, he does it, he leaves, nothing more nothing less. When I call about the service and ask for a discount because of the inconvience the company caused. A employee named Mel proceeded to tell me "Ask God for a discount, he's the one who made it rain." Needless to say, quite unnecessary and unprofessional. Would not recommend this company. read more

I got my windshield replaced and while I was in the waiting area with the rest of the customers, the cashier told us all that we will have to sit outside and wait for our cars to be repaired or walk over to the Dunkin donuts shop because the shop are going to reinstall new windows and front door to the lobby and waiting area. While I waited In the 50 degrees cold weather today, I was given subpar service as the secretary explained to me yesterday when I called to order my windshield being repaired. The secretary stated yesterday that the windshield would be dropped off at the shop by 7pm last night. When the windshield tech took out my old windshield, he was sitting there waiting for a half hour on the delivery of my new windshield that was not at the shop as it was guaranteed to be. While waiting outside I see the delivery of my windshield come in at an hour after I been waiting outside in the cold. The window tech who work on my car had a problem putting back together my rear view mirror, which took another 45 minutes for him to let me know he was having issues with it. I'm furious as I write this review b/c they the tech had me come check the work he he done the windshield but the rear view mirror is still giving him an issue. I thought to myself that their are other techs in the bay that could offer assisted to my troubled tech who didn't even want to ask his fellow coworkers for help. After 48 minutes and counting, the tech decided to get help from his fellow windshield tech. After an hour and a half later the tech was able to complete the task of putting the rear view mirror together to attach tot the windshield and I caught a cold on top of that from waiting outside! read more

I had my windshield replaced due to a crack in 2014. At that time they told me there was a lifetime warranty on the windshield so if there were any problems to bring the vehicle back. 2 yrs later I noticed another small crack, likely from a pebble. When I went back they told me the warranty only covers "workmanship" and a crack would not be covered. Why would you offer a lifetime warranty if issues in workmanship would obviously come up immediately after replacement. I asked for examples of "workmanship" damage, and they listed examples which were actually under their warranty exclusion list. Clearly no one seems to understand what is included. If you were thinking about spending more money to have it replaced here bc of the warranty beware! read more

Terrible experience. Someone broke my passenger side window at night. I called around and Auto Glass Now quoted the cheapest rate and scheduled me for an appointment at 10:00 am and told me the repair would take about 1 hour. They informed me that they would remove all the broken glass, but there would be some small glass particles that will work its way out of the door, but a complete vacuum of the broken glass on the inside would be completed. After 2 hours waiting i asked when my car will be serviced, and the manager moved my car to be next up in line. So about an hour later my car was completed. In my car there where noticeable pieces of glass on all around. I didn't really care, as I was going to get it cleaned myself. A couple days later, I noticed that my car wouldn't lock. I went back to the shop and a tech tried about 30 minutes to get it to lock. After that " The District Manager" tried and informed me that it is nothing they can do to make the door lock. He stated that it was glass in the door, but could do nothing for me. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU CANT AFFORD A QUALITY SHOP.
