I'm a repeat customer. I have had a sound system installed previously and the work was completed in a time efficient manner and not to mention the aesthetic look of the install was clean! Sound of the install was everything I wanted and some. Today I came in for rotors, break pads and brake sensor replacement for my 2018 BMW 530i. Street Dreamz provided BMW OEM parts as any great shop would do. He took the time to quote the price and break down parts and labor which was much appreciated. Street Dreamz mechanic did an amazing job! So glad I trusted them and didn't go to my local BMW shop that normally is a stressful experience that takes all day. The wait for my vehicle to be serviced and completed was as expected. I definitely would recommend Street Dreamz for your servicing needs as well as if your in the market for tires and rims. Street Dreamz Capital Heights This is the first ever bad review i have left in my 39 years on this planet, but i can't let this one slide! Very bad experience with this shop! Purchased aftermarket headlights to get installed in my G37 IPL coupe. They charged me over $700 for starters for a headlight installation, stating they had to do some extra wiring as if they had to do some monumental ground breaking tasks. Which is absolutely bogus. After driving my car for a few weeks i noticed the right head light flickering, cutting on and off, so eventually the whole headlight was out. I took the car to my mechanic and he noticed the sealing cap to keep the water out was not on that headlight causing water damage. I asked him if the cap could just pop off easily and he showed me on the opposite side headlight that it took force to pop the cap off. So either Street Dreamz did not secure it properly or just forgot completely to put it on. The manager "Jay" told me i could bring my car back if i experienced any problems, so I brought my car back explained to him what the issue was and how it logically could've happened and he tried to find any and every excuse of how the cap came off, ranging from potholes, to strong wind, tornadoes, me not having a fender liner on the wheel basically trying push the blame on me so they couldn't be liable fix the issue. Or have me pay again to get it reinstalled, the audacity! I respectfully but firmly told him "bro please don't insult my intelligence" After several back forths, him relaying messages from the owner, and a bunch of other conspiracy theories of how the cap could've came off i simply asked "you're the professional right? if you guys would have secured that cap with one of the million zip ties you got lying around this shop would it have came off regardless of the weather, or fender liner missing?" And he said no. I said exactly!!! So why should i have to spend another $550 on headlights when you guys are at fault!?!? Poor customer service just lost them a valuable customer! They might be one of the few custom car shop in the DMV area, which might give them a slight arrogance, but i would drive all the to RDB LA on four flats before they ever get another dime of my money! I was overly excited to come to this company to have my remote start and possibly alarm system installed in my vehicle. I called to inquire about the potential costs and whoever picked up the phone (no name) was very rude and sounded annoyed that I'd even called to begin with. I asked my questions anyway though, was quoted a good price but again the answer was rushed as if I was inconveniencing him by asking a question; proceeded to ask about possibly getting window tint done and he hung up in my face. I called back and no one answered. Ryan the owner gave me pricing over the phone for two part installs and said they would look into some noises which he advised was the driveshaft. Which I was planning to have them fix. I get to the shop and the guys there try to bump up the prices. It went from $600 on the phone to $1100 for the same work. Man that was offensive. I know what the work is. I know what shops in the dmv are charging. I know what it takes to get the job done. They're trying to play me like some elderly person taking their car to the dealership. I told them $600 is what I was told, I don't want to waste their time, I can just take the car back. They agree to do the work. Couple hours later I get the car back and go to pay the bill and I notice they didn't do all the work I asked for. I mean at what point were you going to tell me I wasn't getting everything I asked for? The manager even tried explaining to me what they needed to do for the second part which they didn't do anyways as if I didn't know how to do it. As if it was some monumental task. Man that's messed up. Changing up the prices, not doing all the work I asked for, not letting me know it wasn't going to get done. I shouldn't have paid the money they asked but at that point I just wanted get out of there. Needless to say. I will not be returning. Probably doesn't matter to them. They'll continue to have customers. Advice for you all.. get them to text you or email you any cost information. PUT IT IN WRITING! And make sure it's the final total. Don't take a verbal answer. PLEASE!!!!!!!! Don't be fooled about how great the rims look when you get the tire rim package. The rims are for the look but they are nothing on BS tires. These no name tires don't last a year. Bought the rim and tire package and not even six months later all four are punished. WARNING WARNING WARNING!!!!! The glitz and glamor is great (rims) but means nothing without substance (tires). Never again! We have been using Street Dreamz​ for a few years for vinyl wrapping of a few cars that we paint every year for the Washington Auto Show. But this year they switched to plasti dipped using a vendor dubbed 301Dipz​. It was the worse experience I have encountered with a custom shop. The spray job was horrible and kept pealing so the artists had to over tape which made the presentation even worse. But when it was time to remove the chemicals 301 Dipz and Street Dreamz returned our cars half complete with two of them suffering paint damage by way of scratches and chipping. The overspray was everywhere, and in places it shouldn't have been. My team personally had to remove using Turtle wax Bug and Tar spray. It took a few hours per car then we had to pay to have them professionally detailed. To top it off, the owner of Street Dreamz, Ryan, left us outside in the cold for an hour as we were waiting to show him the level of unprofessionalism exerted on our vehicles from his vendor Ray of 301 Dipz. He claimed that he was too upset over his vendor to speak with us. This is a sign of total disrespect to someone paying you thousands of dollars. The dude didn't even call or text to apologize for the debacle. And it's obvious that he never checked Rey's work or he wouldn't have allowed the cars to leave the shop half done. We now have to take out an insurance claim to have the scratches and chips repaired on our Supra. read more

BEWARE!!! Ryan Mann is probably one of the top 5 WORST installers all the WHOLE EAST COAST!! I've had MULTIPLE installers tell me how bad of a job he did. How the hell is he still in business?! I brought my brand new Jeep Wrangler to him last winter and even TODAY I am still dealing with the fucked up install affects he did to my Jeep. He fucked up a BRAND NEW amp. Pushed RCA cables in like he was pissed off at the world!! My radio who this company suggested his shop with has my car making engine noise cause he DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL HE WAS DOING!!!! Now I have to have my Jeep completely gutted cause this fuck up dumb ass of a so glad installer fucked it up so bad!! Oh btw, it took him 3 FUCKIN DAYS to install 4 THINGS?! 3 days really?! Are you that fuckin bad at your job or that inexperienced you need 3 fuckin days?! You guys want to go here cause it's cheap go ahead. If you not buying the top of the line rims, your car is getting fucked. I don't care if you got a Bentley, Benz, Corvette etc. You car is still going to get fucked. Take your car to another installer and just ask them to check what they installed to see if they did it right. I bet money they say he didn't. Sonic Sound in Arlington, VA even said they did such a horrible job. You guys can keep dealing with this piece of shit shop if you want but don't say you haven't been warned. Yes Yes the best rim & tint shop in the DMV, I went to a shop in pg to get a replacement rim but the shop couldn't help me. I got recommended to Street Dreamz & was told to ask for Ryan to help me with me issue. So that's what I did, I was very amazed on how nice, big & luxurious the shop is. Then meeting Ryan & telling him my issue, he made I quick phone then said "your rim will be here tomorrow". He was a man of his word, I went back the next day & my fresh rim was on deck. He took the tire of my messed rim & put it on my new rim & my issue was solved. I will be back again to do future business with this company! read more

If the caucasian employee that brings his dog in to work with him is still there don't deal with him at ALL. He is crazy and acts like it's his shop and your going to take something from him. Worst customer experience ever. I came to get a price on a window tint replacement. The first person i spoke to a female that claimed to be the manager whom said it couldn't be done then continue to say it would be $20 i explained to her that i was told it was under warranty she caught a attitude real quick and went to get another "manager" as i was explaining to him what happen to the window he got rowdy and said he isnt in the business to give anything for free.
