I had a broken windshield on my van. I was fully covered in my insurance but that didn't mean I got anything less than their best service. I definitely would recommend them. The glass that I got was incredible nice and the van seemed better with the new window in place. I've posted some pics to show the work being done. I watch most of the whole process. That type of work is basically an art form. When you're that good and that fast it goes smoothly and easily. I could tell that there was a considerable amount of detail and precision. My driveway was kept clean and nothing was left on my dashboard. The tech was really nice and it was easy to set up a time to make it all happen. They told me the appointment would take one and a half hours. It took over two hours. They have a tiny little waiting room that isn't conducive to people having to wait to get the work done. You have to ask to use the restroom. There is no station for anybody to get work done on the computer. Not even a glass of water or coffee was offered And then, when all was said and done, they couldn't even fix it right. They were unable to do the calibration on the windshield. So now none of my safety features, including the front camera or the automatic high beam, or the lane assist or the pilot assist work. So I've been told I have to go back to my car dealership and get them to do it. Thanks a bunch. They wasted half my day and now I have to make a separate appointment at my dealer. We got a price quote from AGN and the other glass place. AGN was nearly $150 less. We made the appointment, the technician (Alexander Law) arrived in the timeframe. Alex was kind and courteous and knew exactly what he was doing. He explained the whole process and let us know he would have to drive the truck to calibrate the windshield. He was finished in just about an hour and made sure to let us know to not remove the tape for a minimum time period. Had my rear window replaced after being broken a few years ago insurance told me parts are covered life time cause of the claim but they are wrong the latch on the glass that is glued with adhesive came apart this shop will not replace the glass cause they say it's caused by something else witch is wrong if you had looked at the latch you could see how shitty the glue was on this part I will never send anyone here read more

The dealership recommended this place to us so I called them up and made an appt for them to come replace my broken window. They came out and installed the new window. However, the window was installed cooked and the paint was scratched from him cleaning the area up. I didn't care so much about the paint because I was getting the paint repaired to to chipping cause by the car getting broken into. I'm sharing this information because consumers need to know about it just in case someone isn't getting their car repainted. Day 1 glass did not fit orderd wrong Day 2 wrong glass it was for explorer Day 3 right glass bit wont role up or reset now ..they said call dealer it happens. We singed paper that it might not be right. I think the many attempts to install wrong wi dows that they left in had something to do with it. I had an appointment for a new windshield. It had to be special ordered and I had to come to the shop for installation and calibration. The windshield came in as anticipated and I received an appointment promptly. The job was completed within the timeframe quoted. The office staff was very friendly. All employees followed COVID protocols with masks, sanitizer, etc. The office was clean. They even let me use a vacant office to take some calls and attend virtual meetings for work so my job was not impacted by the appointment. I appreciated the extra consideration and service. Rock bite on my new Tesla during freeway drive put me in a deep funk. Before going to Tesla for a window replacement, I thought I would try a window repair service - not like the kind advertised on telephone posters. I was greeted by the lovely Special K (she has a vanity plate on her desk). She took a look at the damage and offered to make me a future appointment. I moaned and gave her my best puppy dog eyes. She paused (was she about to bust out in laughter? I thought) and offered me a slot an hour later. My repair was handled by a young man in a Pittsburgh Steelers hat. I gave him some light ribbing for that but he took it with a smile. Back to the repair. Efficient, quick and very much affordable. What a sheer joy to have experienced such excellent service by a very qualified team. Being a Cali driver, I am sure I'll be needing their services again in the future. Thank you All Star! I called my insurance company and chose the option for windshield..i only had a chipped glass, but it was the same cost to replace the entire windshield than to fill in the chip from a rock. They were super quick filing the claim. ordered my windshield from the dealer because its a brand new car and called me right away to get scheduled. The first time i was scheduled, i had actually forgotten and left work missing the appt. They were super understanding about it and rescheduled for me. Brad came to my work and had it replaced within the hour. He was great and I wasn't taken from my job for long. I have used this company before through my insurance to get my wife's vehicle glass repaired. My daughter's window was recently busted out and needed a replacement. I called (Thursday) was told they could have a technician come out the following Wednesday to do the replacement because the glass wasn't available until then and installers were booked up. I called them on the day they were supposed to come out for the install. This was rescheduled due not having any installers available. I was able to talk my way into driving into their shop to get it installed. After 10-15 minutes waiting in the lounge I was told the wrong window was ordered and said the insurance company provided the wrong car model (I don't believe this). Today is Friday (one week after the first appointment) and I called them to confirm their arrival time. The gal I spoke with said they were out of installers today and they have to push until next Monday. I asked if they could put me on priority list and that I would drive in. Her excuse was again they were out of installers. I know we are in strange times with Covid and folks calling in sick but this kind of service and lack of communication is ridiculous. Why am I only finding out the bad news when I call them? Shouldn't they be calling me?! If your insurance company recommends this company - do yourself a favor and asked for a different one. read more

Had my window replaced by them because mercury (possibly the worst insurance company ever) recommended them. January it was replaced, they messed up my headliner, had the same guy come look at it, call3d me a liar and didn't bother sedlnding the pictures he took to allstar. Now 4 months later in May and they're finally doing something about it, instead of repairing the damage however, they're going to replace the entire headliner, why? They probably want to save face, i just need them to repair it with glue because i dont want to buy the can myself. unfortunately I'm never going to use them again. INCOMPLETE REPAIR CAUSED MORE DAMAGE Went in for a rock chip repair, the next day there was a 10" crack in the glass. Running my fingers over the repairs, they were not smooth and level with the window, they weren't even filled! I've had rock chip repairs in the past and the fill ALWAYS matches the glass surface. This was an incomplete repair. The only offer they made was to discount the price of new glass by the cost of the chip repair. A dirty way to sell glass. Now why would I let these guys install a whole window when they couldn't manage a repair the size of a dime? UPDATE - the quote given to replace my windshield was 269.82 with a discount of the 79.95 (chip repair cost) for a total of 189.87. They were "willing to knock off a few more dollars" for a total of 175.00 before tax. Funny, the three other shops I called all quoted me a price around 175.00 average. Smelling the fish yet? It gets better. The website lets you get an instant quote, mine was 232.17, now if I apply that same 79.95 "discount" the price should be 152.22 before tax. I called, explained my research, my basic math and my absolute certainty of completing a successful chargeback with statements from certified glass techs. My refund should be processed in two to three days. Avoid this place, the prices are as phoney as the service! read more

I recently had occasion to have a sliding rear cab window installed in my 1995 Chevrolet K1500 pick-up truck. After picking All Star Glass from the internet at random, I made a trip to their place of business to inquire about getting this work done. Nick Mezin, Assistant Manager, took care of my installation with a minimum amount of difficulty and the installation by his shop installer took less than 45 minutes. I was well pleased both with the work performed and quality of 'customer care' extended to me by Nick and his staff there at All Star Glass. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone with a similar job that they needed done on their vehicle. Terrible experience. I asked my local dealer if they did windshield replacement, and they said no and directed me here. I spent 30 min on the phone the first time trying to order the new windshield. Faxed them all sorts of things that they needed. No one informed me that for whatever reason, the order wasn't ever placed. A couple of months later, I called back. Bear in mind that 2021 was the year of supply chain issues, so I gave them plenty of time for the part to come in. Found out that they never ordered the new windshield, and then they ordered it for real. 2.5 months later, crickets. I called. They said that they had it. Why hadn't they called and told me???? Set up an appointment for someone to come to my house to do the installation. Great. Until the guy gets here and tells me that I really shouldn't drive my car because the cameras need to be recalibrated and that I'll need to take it to the dealer to do that. He was shocked that no one had told me that. Also commended that they normally do these installations in their shop because they can do the recalibration there. This was never offered to me either. The installer was great. The overall experience was one of the worse customer service experiences of my life. And I'm not young. read more

Actually used the old fashioned method and called around several places before finding All Star Glass. Prices were competitive but to be honest I wouldve paid MORE for the type of service I received. My experience with the company my insurance company had recommended was poor, All Star Glass came to the rescue and I've been going there for the past 4 years. I've had the windshield on both my Nissan truck and Volvo sedan replaced here (twice for the truck...thanks to the Snow Removal trucks on I-80 during the winter and the rocks they spray behind them), as well as replacing side mirror glass for the Volvo (didnt know All Star did that for such a great price, the Junkyard AND dealership wanted over $100!!!). The office employees are always more than pleasant whether its over the phone (scheduling mobile service), or in person if you should come by and have the work done on-site. It was so easy, the staff was incredible and efficient. Arrived to drop off and everything was in order. They suggested it would take about 2 1/2-3 hours with having to recalibrate the "eyesight" on top of the installation. About an hour and 15 minutes later, it was ready. Went in, paid my deductible, got my keys and away I went! The entire staff were more than friendly, they were courteous and professional and my car looks fabulous!
