This company was recommended by my brother's insurance carrier. The crack was center and across the middle of the windshield. He wanted Toyoto brand windshield and it took a few days to get the right windshield for a current model SUV. We arrived 5 minutes before scheduled appointment. Attendant came into the office from the service bay and within two minutes his car was in the back being repaired. We waited less than an hour for completion. We had a cracked windshield that was covered by our insurance, with a $50 copay. The call was made and an appointment scheduled to have the windshield replaced at my residence. The employee arrived on time, but realized the windshield ordered by the company was not the right one. The windshield brought over, although it would fit, was missing some upgraded features that the existing windshield possessed. The blame went to the person taking the call and ordering the windshield from their warehouse. This was a Friday afternoon. The employee made the call right then and there to troubleshoot the issue. The correct windshield would not be available until Monday. The employee was very apologetic. He stated he already knew Monday was filled up, but promised me he would squeeze in our car and return. Monday came around and a different employee showed up with the correct windshield. He informed me that his partner's schedule was slammed and he was asked to get the job done, as promised. The install went smoothly and everything was good to go. Literally less than a week later a damn rock bounced, thanks to all the stinking traffic on I-15, and cracked the windshield! WTF? It was a small "chip" that could grow if left unattended. I contacted All Star Glass and told them what happened. The call taker empathized with me, crazy how it had only been a few days since the replacement. Instead of dealing with my insurance company again I was offered to have the chip fixed (filled in) for $25, in lieu of the standard (non-insurance use rate) $100. I drove the vehicle over to the business and it was handled in less than 30 minutes. You can not even tell there was a chip in the windshield. Great job all the way around. read more

Let me begin by stating that I run a business. I have a comprehensive understanding of the importance of the overall "customer experience." My 2016 Hyundai needed a windshield. I called the 800 number and spoke with someone at a call center who was absolutely clueless. They quoted me over $700 for my windshield. I hung up and called back and asked for the Temecula office directly. They connected me and all went well with a correct quote and the work was scheduled and completed in a thorough and professional manner. The installer was awesome, but the call center was and is a complete disaster and should be eliminated. They have terrible customer service skills. The folks in Temecula, they are great! read more

Had my car broken into and needed a new window. All star glass put a new one in, but 1-2 weeks later the window had difficulty going up (it would slow down toward the top). I kinda just let it go, until recently there was an air leak and one of the seals was moving as the window would go up. They originally told me I had a lifetime warranty, which is why I waited so long, but then when I called, which was over a year later (I'm a very busy working mom and student), they wouldn't take responsibility for the their poor workmanship and said I only had a one year warranty on the workmanship. I will never go back! Terrible install and terrible service. read more

Can't talk about quality of work since we didn't make it that far. My wife brought her vehicle in to check crack on windshield. The two ladies working the desk didn't even acknowledge her when she walked in. Notice one was gossiping about a lady that was unrelated to the business. After waiting a few minutes, my wife decided to walk out while one of the ladies came outside to ask if she needed help. The only reason this is getting 3 stars is because of their customer service. I would give it 1 star for their performance. I came from 20 miles away because this was who my insurance went through to fix a crack in my windshield. I made sure they knew I needed a special windshield for my car, as it has the lane assist feature. They told me it would be an hour and a half so I ubered to the mall. I tried calling their number an hour and a half later and they didn't pick up so I left a message asking for an update. I stopped at a restaurant to have a beer and watch the game. Another hour later, I called them again and they told me it was ready but they couldn't get my windshield recalibrated. I show up and the lady explains to me that they basically cheap-out and get the after market windshields & sometimes they don't calibrate on cars that have the lane assist, so I would have to come back on another day to have a new one put in. They also didn't put on new windshield wipers like I had ordered. After almost 4 hours of waiting, I got in my car and drove home. They called me 3 days later to schedule an appointment for a week later. I made my way out there again and the manager was there to help me. He was very nice and asked to take a look at the car before he took the windshield off, to make sure there's nothing they missed last time... he came back 6 minutes later and said everything was fine and it calibrated; he explained to me that the mechanic that worked on it the first time, DIDN'T PLUG THE CAMERA IN. All the manager did was plug it in and it was fine.... Lane assist and everything was working. He handed me my keys back and I was shocked. Not only did I drive 80 miles in total, but if he triple checked his work the first time, I would've have had to come back! The store manager was super nice and offered to do the windshield wipers free of charge for me, but at that point I just wanted to leave. Like I said, the only reason they're getting 3 stars is because they were nice. But a simple mistake that wastes somebody's time and money, will get you a bad review. Next time I get a crack in my windshield, I'd rather just sell my car than to go to these guys again. read more

Made an appointment on Monday to have my windshield replaced for Friday morning at 9:00 a.m.. AAA insurance referral. Get a call 15 minutes before appointment letting me know they don't have my windshield. Seriously?! The windshield was damaged. Waited 15 minutes before appointment. Going to order new one. Will need to reschedule for next week. Get another call to let me know that they may get a new glass this afternoon. However, since it is raining they can't work in rain. Told them the car is parked in the garage. Said they need good lighting and space. Three car garage and there is plenty of lighting and room. Excuses, excuses. What's next....can't work on Friday's? Poor customer service. If I could give no stars I would. Stay away from Allstar Glass. They don't want to work. read more

I had a great customer service experience with these guys. I was in a drive thru and, when I attempted to roll down the drivers side window, I heard a crunching noise and then the window fell into the door. These guys fixed my window in less than an hour and for less than the estimate they gave me. My window regulator had gone bad and I believed that the glass was broken (it fell into the door, so I didn't know for sure). These guys were honest and told me that they didn't have to replace the window and the the crunching noise was just the clips on the glass. I stopped in and spoke with the owner about the windshield seal on my ACURA and it was actually a windshield issue from a previous accident that first class collision butchered. I had him order the glass and 2 days later he came and installed it. Great price and a really good person to deal with. Don't need to look elsewhere.
