    I have brought in 3 of my vehicles in the last few years. Every single business transaction has been a breeze here at Safelite AutoGlass! They have come to my house before to replace a windshield, and most recently, today, I brought in my commuter for the same thing. I parked my car in an open lot last week. Didn't come back for a few hours, and when I walked up to my Stella, she had a HUGE crack spanning halfway through on the driver's side. **GASP!** =0 I called my insurance to file a claim and got this appointment set up right away. My original appointment was set for Saturday, the 3rd, but I had to switch it to today due to my social life, lol. My 1:30 pm appointment got moved up earlier, as there was a cancelation. I got a call from the staff, and they let me know I could come in sooner. I checked in right around 12:15, and they were done in about an hour. It was fast, easy, and affordable. I did pay a small deductible, but thank goodness for insurance! =) Once they were done, Eric took my payment, walked me out, and explained what they did. I didn't have any special gadgets as this was the original stock windshield. It was quick, and Eric was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I highly recommend Safelite AutoGlass for all of your auto glass needs!

    Got me in right away, had a great warranty for the work. Be aware that you'll still be able to see the crack once they repair it.

    Knife left by tech after his departure. Response from Safelite: "Sorry it didn't meet with your expectations". Q- Did it meet theirs?

    On 9/5/25, the windshield was installed properly by Safelite tech. However, he damaged the driver's side rear-view mirror switch mechanism and left a dangerous razor sharp tool/knife in the car where someone could have been injured. This is what happened: When the tech arrived, he asked me to pull my car out of the carport parking spot and reposition the vehicle to face outward from the spot and not inward. When the job was complete, I got into my car and noticed the driver's side rear-view mirror was no longer positioned the way I usually have it. The mirror was all the way to the furthest extreme left position. He apparently repositioned the mirror during the work. Understand that if the mirror had been in the furthest extreme left position when I backed the car into the carport spot, I would not have had the necessary visibility to avoid possibly colliding with the carport support uprights. After the tech left and I discovered the mirror had been pushed out of position, I attempted to reposition it using the rear view mirror switch. The mirror switch was now malfunctioning and would only work for up, down and right positions. The mirror motor can no longer move the mirror to the left. To summarize, I discovered that the mirror had been pushed to the extreme left and now the mirror motor can no longer move the mirror to the left. Obviously, during the windshield installation, the mirror was forcibly pushed by hand or by an object causing damage to the driver side rear view mirror positioning mechanism. I scheduled an at-home inspection of the damage by Safelite for 9/6/25, however, I did not receive that inspection visit. Instead, I received a phone call from the techs manager. The manager did not offer any help with the repair or offer any compensation, discount, etc. I also found him to be quite rude due to his repeated interruptions as I attempted to explain my concerns. Additionally, I discovered after he left that the tech left a large razor sharp tool/knife on the floor of the drivers side where someone could have gotten hurt. For those with kids or who wear sandals please check your car for sharp objects after the tech has completed the work. See pictured below. I will not be a repeat customer, nor will my friends and family. Update: Was invited to contact customer service regarding this incident. Spoke to a rep named Dixie who said, "I DO apologize". She told me one of the local quality control reps would contact me by the end of the week. That was a month ago and I never received a call.

    What is the shops number?!! I was not called with updates. My car was left overnight with no communication! I just picked up my car yesterday' and the sensors are not working in the front of the car. I can not reach anyone at this shop!!

    Do you replace authentic model 3 driver window with the double pane glass?

    Hi Juan. Our quotes are for aftermarket parts unless they are not available for your vehicle. If you prefer factory glass, it is something that we can order for you.
