Anyway, JN Phillips provides mobile glass service, so they will come direct to your home or work--wherever your car may be parked. I was able to get prompt same-day service when I called. The repair guy called me when he was downstairs and got right down to work. The entire windshield was replaced in one hour. It took another hour to dry, and I was ready to go! Great service. In Massachusetts, windshield replacements/repairs are typically included in the comprehensive coverage of your auto insurance policy, so I paid nothing. Note: During the month of October, they are donating a portion of the proceeds from windshield replacements to a breast cancer charity. Commendable!

I had requested to reschedule my appointment if it rained but they still showed when it did, so I had them do the work in my garage. The Glass was installed adequately but they left glue residue in several places which I had to clean off myself and they were not very thorough. The main problem we had with them is that the technician was careless and drove the company van over my grass on the side of the driveway and created deep trenches from the weight of the vehicle and tore up the grass. there was plenty of room for him to get by the vehicle in the drive but he decided to drive over the grass...They have been very difficult to deal with regarding a fair settlement of the damages, they wanted to send out a landscape company to put sod down but did not provide any details of what they were going to do despite several requests, nor have they given me the name of their insurance company. We don't have sprinklers and its a bad time of the year to lay down sod unless you can water it several times a day. I requested a cash settlement so I could have it done on my own timeline in the fall or spring when the hot weather is behind us, but they would not agree and are not being cooperative. I will likely have to take them to small claims court to settle the matter. How they handle issues like this says a lot about their company culture and philosophy and I will not use them again or recommend them to anyone. I called Safelite and they told me they saw my insurance approved, but no one pressed the button to accept it. They could of just called their own company and verify. He tells me this happens all the time, where customers gets reimbursed later by the insurance. But this dude just want to take my money first and not make any effort of calling. In the last 6 years of owning my G37 Sedan, everyone from front end to the technician have done well to meet my particular needs. Specifically, I really have found that the OEM windshield can be low quality and that the best brand for my specific car is Pilkington. Knowing this, they assured me that they could get that and supported this choice. As the system typically accounts for consumers that simply throw any aftermarket windshield on as an insurance replacement, it can be tricky to work within the system to get the best available option, but this location has done very well with keeping me updated, notifying me of any delays, and making sure that my schedule has minimal interruptions. All jobs that they have done for me have been great with exception to one that did not seal properly, which they resolved without issue. Definitely recommend going in with an understanding with what you want, how your policy works, and accounting for logistical delays. Also recommend doing in the shop instead of mobile, especially during extreme weather like heat or cold to optimize the work environment for the technician. Their mobile jobs are still good though.
