Unfortunately, I have had two windshields replaced on my vehicle already this year. Fortunately, I got a referral to Auto Glass Solutions from a local dealer, who couldn't calibrate my systems after a replacement late last year. So, I talked to Victor at Auto Glass Solutions about fixing the botched job done by an out-of-state shop when I was traveling. Victor quoted me a fair price and did quality work fixing the botched installation by removing it and installing a new windshield. The work was top quality and the subsequent calibration successful. Four months later, a rock from a gravel truck cratered my windshield, AGAIN! I called Victor and his crew replaced it the next day for a fair price. Driving down the I-5 I heard a large rock smash into my windshield. It scared me so bad I was in shock for a moment! I looked for the crack and cursed the truck in front of me. I didn't see anything at first. I thought maybe I was making a mountain out of a molehill about the sound it made. About a week later I started to see a little line creeping down my windshield...the crack had started in the the sunshade spot behind the rearview mirror and that's why I hadn't seen it! I called my insurance and they said they only covered small cracks and I was SOL. I called a couple places. Safelite was going to charge me $400 for the replacement. I made an appointment with them because I had to get this replaced no matter what. In the meantime I called this place and got a better price plus they could do it that same day. I would be done in about an hour. I booked and pulled over. The men working were so nice and helpful. The guy with the desk to the right helped me himself, Victor, and I felt like I could really trust him with my baby. He let me sit in the small waiting area for the hour he worked on the glass. I did some work while waiting. I was in and out! Thoroughly impressed with the service and knowledge by these guys. I highly recommend these guys! First of all, I hit a wild turkey and demolished my windshield! This incident happened on a Thursday afternoon and I had weekend plans for a road trip. Such a huge inconvenience but these guys had my vehicle ready to roll the very same day! Even after insurance issues and calibration of camera in the windshield. Just wanted to share my story with everyone. very happy with this company. Bought a vehicle about a year ago with a pretty cracked windshield, getting my car ready to sell now and windshield was on the list of repairs. i went to safelite for a quote, they got me for $430 for a windshield out of pocket. didn't really feel like dropping that much on a car i'm trying to flip. Got a ad on Facebook from these guys thought i'd inquire for a quote. Victor responded to me same day. not only was he very professional he had the hospitality part as well. i asked him if he can come on said date and he gave me three openings to choose from. I got a call that day from Jay letting me know he was on his way. I was working this day and was unable to be at home so one of my family members took care of my car for me. A rock hit my windshield on my way to work in Woodland and I was super upset about the damage. I started doing research online because the weather was about to get cold and I didn't want the damage to spread. Some bloke broke into my old car for the goods inside. Luckily, all I leave in there is junk! Glass everywhere and driving window gone with rain expected to be on the way. I was directed to Auto Glass Solutions that was in my proximity (near Davis) and could accommodate me the day of my incident. When I arrived, everyone was very friendly. I had such a great experience here. A week ago a rock hit my windshield on the freeway while it was raining, and since then I had been I looking around trying to get quotes from other places and this was by far the most reasonable and the highest rated on yelp in my area. I live in Sacramento but I frequent Woodland quite often so it was great having them be in a convenient location. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and they examined my windshield and said it would take 30-60 mins and it was actually much less which was a great surprise. I'm not easily impressed, but these guys are great. I called up concerned that some weatherstripping was coming off around my windshield, but was having a hard time explaining what I was seeing. So Junior offered to come out to my house. He was there in about 5 minutes and was able to tell me that what was coming off was just cosmetic and I could remove it and be fine. I searched the yolo area to get my windshield replaced, living in Davis I decided I'd drive 20 mins out to Woodland. I made the decision after their great customer service in providing me a quote at an awesome price. I ran into an emergency the day of my appointment and their staff was really friendly, helping me schedule next day. I showed up on the complete opposite entrance of the shop by accident but Victor made me feel just as welcome, settling me in with their front desk clerk, Joel. I was told the replacement would take anywhere from one hour to an hour and a half which is already a quick time considering they were servicing another vehicle. The replacement got done within 45 minutes and I couldn't be happier with my new windshield.
