Initially I thought it was all good but... I brought my car to this shop in May after being sideswiped on the front driver-side. The repairs were supposed to be both body and mechanical work. Body work was fine but for mechanical I was specifically told that an OEM front headlight would be installed. As soon as I got my car back, multiple warning and light codes (about seven) immediately appeared on my dashboard, which had never happened before the accident or after the accident (before I gave it to this shop). I contacted the Lindstrom again and brought the car back in. they told me "I had my technician diagnose the headlamp issue. We're thinking it's a faulty headlamp. None of the codes indicate an issue with anything else except for the lamp. It's an aftermarket headlamp so I'm ordering a brand new lamp from Honda." They told me they had only seen this issue once before on an Acura (Honda's sister car) and said the solution was to replace the headlight with an OEM part. Which was confusing, since that is what they claimed they would install when I talked to them in person in the first place. After picking the car up again, the exact same warning lights came back on...I returned again, at that point they told me "It sounds like they recommend replacing the ABS Modulator to fix the issue." and suggested I must've braked too hard, causing the issue. This made no sense, I was driving under 20 mph in front of an elementary school when I was hit, and there was no hard braking involved. They then told me if not that it is the computer part and alone would cost over $800 and that I would need to either pay out of pocket or deal with my insurance. The insurance said I would need to pay for a diagnostic out of pocket to determine whose fault it was. A diagnostic only shows what is wrong NOT what caused the problem. I was not willing to pay out of pocket for an issue that clearly appeared after the repair work. Also looking into this part myself I tried to remove the screws but every single screw was stripped so I can't even get it off myself. To make matters worse, when I inspected the car myself, I found the front fender liner was missing entirely, something that should have put back on during the repairs. Overall, this experience was very frustrating lasting from May up to July and the problems of my car still occurring currently. The problem was never resolved, responsibility was repeatedly shifted away from the shop. The quality and completeness of the repair is questionable. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. read more

Buyer Beware!!! I went to Lindstrom's to get an estimate to get a tiny hole fixed on my car and told them my insurance company said If it's over $1,000.00 don't have it done because it'll go against you as an accident so I told the guy who does the estimates that I can't do it if it's over $1,000.00 and I was over joyed when he came back and said it'll be $506.00. They did the work and when the guy delivered my car I was cutting hair so I signed the paper, took my faub and went back to work. About 6 months later my insurance increased $40.00 a month. I called my insurance and they said you had an accident. I said I've NEVER had an accident and they said Lindstrom's did body work and charged $1,800.00. I was so upset, crying, freaking out when I went down there and said " Don't you guys tell the customer when it's going to be 3 X's the quote because that would of been my chance to say "FORGET IT, DONT DO THE WORK! I'll live with the quarter size hole." Unfortunately they NEVER gave me the chance. I haven't wanted to write this but I'm so upset about how unethical they are I just had to. read more

John Lindstrom and his staff are an amazing customer service oriented Auto Body shop. My husband and I have used them at least 3 times and they always do excellent work in a timely manner. They strive to keep you abreast of the process from the time you drop your vehicle off, through the process, until it's done. Their prices are reasonable and estimates are accurate. I would highly recommend this business to anyone in the Woodland and Davis area. They are a local family who are friendly and provide the best in body repair. My car was also washed and vacuumed, which was beyond what I expected and very welcomed. Love these folks! read more

I went through them when I got into my accident a couple years ago. They were really good and were able to repair my car in a timely manner. However, this time I got into an accident in May and they couldn't book me until August. When I asked about the August appointment they said they couldn't get me in until September. I was lied to by the estimator. I called to inquire about it and the receptionist gave me a snippy little "well that was back in May" when I asked why I was told August. A very disappointing experience. I'm definitely not going to be using this auto repair shop any longer. The receptionist was very rude. Disrespectful and off-putting whoever that was she should be fired. I would have considered waiting until September 30th if she wasn't so damn rude. read more

My Wife banged her GMC Acadia Denali up pretty well. I've used other Auto Body companies in Woodland and have never been totally satisfied. When I took the vehicle to Lindstroms, Jon, the owner, looked the car over and agreed to repair it. When the car was completed I got the call to come pick it up. I drove the car to my office which was just a block away. When I got out and started looking at what a great job Lindstrom had done, I noticed these little scratches under both driver-side doors. I immediately drove the car back to Lindstroms so that Jon the owner could see the scratches. Jon looked at the car and then asked me to bring it back the next morning. I expected to hear some lame excuse of why they did not fix those scratches. Nope, all I heard was, bring it back, and will take care of it. Not only did they fix the dinky little scratches, but Jon the owner personally brought the car to my office. The car looks beautiful. If I could give Lindstrom's auto body shop more stars I would. My family has been coming to Lindsrom's auto body for years. I live in Vacaville, but I'm in woodland 5 days a week taking care of my fur grandbabies. Per my son's recommendation, I always take my car there. I've had Lindstrom repair 2 of my vehicles in the past. yesterday I had a rental that already had a dent on the passenger side fender & i noticed that the fender was loose. I didn't want to drive it because I was afraid it might fall off. I took it to Lindsrom's and Rick fixed it in less than 1/2 an hour. that's the kind of excellent service you receive. read more

Bad customer service and they don't uphold there deadline. I got four different deadlines and every single time I got told me they need more time. It's looks to me they don't prioritize their clients. This is second time I went to get my car fixed here, last time it was the same they took a lot longer than the deadline I was given and I thought this time it would be different but no I was the same exact experience. read more

Took my car here for a repair after being rear-ended. Service upon entering was prompt, but once they had my car, getting them to call back was more of a challenge. We were worried about the paint matching and how the car would look, so asked for a quote to paint the rest of the car at our own expense. They said they'd call us back. Never got the return call for the paint quote after calling twice. Finally called back a third time and got a quote (which was outrageous when compared to the cost of the repair of the job). Once completed, the car actually looked great. The final bill did not match the estimate (was higher than the estimate). Since this was a rear-end, the other person's insurance was responsible. They had cut us a check for the estimate. We signed the check over to Lindstrom's and had them contact the insurance company for settlement, which they did. Since getting my car back, we've had to return a couple of times for ongoing issues with the tail lights which they have promptly fixed for us both times we have returned the car for the issue. Overall, ok and I would consider them again if I didn't get a better recommendation from a friend. Could be better in their service, but the main thing is my car looks good. Took three weeks for the repair, thankfully the insurance company covered a rental car for me. And we chose not to paint the rest of my car, they matched the paint well. read more

I got dropped off to pick it up, but it was not ready yet( not because of bad service, i came too early) so, one of the owners urgently offered me a ride back to work! gave me a ride and offered to have my car dropped off to me at my job when it was finished! this is fantastic customer service, he went above and beyond. I had a really loud sound coming from the passenger door and Rick took care of it in a matter of 15 minutes. I came in the shop with desperate look for an answer as to what was wrong with my car. We test drove my car and he immediately pinned down the problem. The next day i brought my car in and he fixed it at no charge because of how minimal work it required. Thank you so much Rick, seriously saved me from spending $135 at the Ford dealership. The ford dealership wanted to charge me $135 JUST to take a look at what was wrong and required a scheduled appointment (next available appointment was the following week). Joh Lindstrom came to my house on Saturday to do an estimate. Ordered parts and I took it in on Thursday..got it back on Friday. That is one week start to finish.
