The massive windshield on my Class A Motorhome allowed the early morning and/or afternoon sun to completely blind me. Expensive pull down shields always seemed to be just to the left or right of the sun angle. The owner, Pinder (so sorry if I misspelled your name, but I meant to post this in March when the work was done), understood my dilemma immediately, and had a solution. A medium tint 3M product across the top of the windshield. Although his installer was booked solid, Pinder was able to get me an appointment before I left town. The installer was very personable (and I am so remiss in forgetting his name). He explained that he had 20 years of experience, which helped ease my anxiety. I just picked up a used car from the dealer and found that it had a custom-installed radar detector that didn't seem to be working. They told me to try turning it on (I didn't realize it would need that since it is hard wired). So, I went and dug around and found a power button under the panel--it worked! I live just outside of Woodland and have passed Audionutz for years. I had checked out their web site and assumed that they dealt with higher-end car audio and specialized in those powerful amplified systems with huge subwoofers. In the past I had always just gone to Best Buy and had their Geek Squad install my car audio since I didn't require all of that "high end" stuff but the Woodland Best Buy's car audio section is abysmal. I wanted to upgrade the basic stock radio in my Nissan pickup truck and certainly didn't need "high end" equipment. I just wanted a reasonably decent sound system with Bluetooth so I could use my iPhone with it and I wanted XM/Sirius. So, on a whim, I went into Audionutz and checked it out. I'm really glad that I did! I talked to one of the guys there and explained that I needed some lower-end audio equipment and asked if they had any. He said that they could sell and install a good system for a reasonable price. We then talked audio. He was very knowledgeable and showed me some options after I told him what kind of sound system I wanted. I felt no pressure. He simply described the equipment and what he thought would work best for me within my budget. I chose the system that I wanted with one addition that he suggested: and amplifier. I was leery of the idea of getting an amplifier at first because it seemed to be overkill for what I thought I needed. He explained why he though it was a good idea but didn't pressure me. I set up an appointment to get the system installed. The installation was perfect. The system looks great. There was no sign that the truck didn't come with it. The result is a sound system that is so good that I find excuses to go for a drive just to listen to it. The sound quality is impressive. I am extremely pleased with it, and I am very thankful that I got good advice and took it. Customer Service I explained above how knowledgeable and low key the sale and installation went. I didn't get the ersatz happy customer service that you often get these days. I got low-key, help from somebody who was quite knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely want to get me the system I wanted. About a month after installation, I called because I was getting an error from the satellite radio about the antenna. They took my info and told me to bring it in so they could look at it. I did and they fixed it free of charge. No hassles and no fuss: just good customer service supporting the product and their installation. This week, I got a CD stuck by my own error (stupidity?). I called and asked if they could remove it. They told me to drop by so that they could look at it. I did and Jerome told me that he would need to remove it from my dash. Of course, I told him I would pay him for it since it was my error. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. I showed up and Jerome recovered the CD. I asked how much and I was told "nothing." This is unbelievably good customer service that is very rare these days. They have a customer for life now. I highly recommend giving this shop a call or just drop in. Best customer service! I needed to upgrade my stereo in my 2001 Toyota 4Runner (CD skips & volume knob cuts out) and I first chose simple model that had everything I needed. Unfortunately selecting the radio presets 11-18 was a cumbersome 3 button process. I hated it. I went in on a Wednesday afternoon for a quote on window tint. The owner assisted me and was very helpful with explaining low end to high end ceramic tinting. He was very thorough, patient and didn't make me feel like my questions were stupid like another business in Davis did. I took my car in on a very busy Saturday. Even though they close at 5:30, they stayed over time to get my car finished and called me several times to apologize for the delay. Had this place tint my windows on my Toyota Corolla this past Saturday they did a great job.I went with the more expensive tint as it is suppose to cut down on the sun rays beating and making the inside very hot during my he summer months.Also that type of tint comes with a lifetime warranty if any issues come up they will fix it for free,warranty is good even if you sell the vehicle.Friendly staff. read more

This business was able to install a simple 2-inch car CD stereo in my car on the same day I called to inquire! The guy game me a discount, too, since it was last year's model. The install fee was $20 less than what Best Buy was going to charge me. The guy I worked with was very knowledgeable and patient as I picked out the stereo I wanted. I got a call only 45 minutes after I left that it was installed and ready to go! He assured me that if I had any concerns or questions to come back in. When I tested the system, I realized that I had left a CD in my old stereo (doh!), and couldn't figure out how to remove it. I went back in and the guy easily hooked it up to power and removed the CD from my old stereo. My hero! My husband also wanted a stereo installed in his car, but the item wasn't in stock. He easily booked an appointment on a later date. I can tell that this shop is a specialty shop, and therefore they don't always have a particular item in stock that you might want. So, just make sure you call ahead to get your stereo ordered before you plan to get it installed. The knowledgeable service I received here would have been well worth the wait. read more

Update:7/14/2016 Customized sub enclosure finished and placed in vehicle. The Audionutz team have done a fantastic job. Enclosure was cut to allow for fitment as well as carpeted. The sub is still breaking in so taking it easy but can already tell the difference compared to the original set-up (JL CP208LG). Previously I could tell the subs were located in the back and is definitely not what you want. In addition, the subs were not able to hit the lower frequencies but is of course a limitation of the subs. With the current sealed set-up I cannot localize the sub location and provides an enveloping feeling instead. Can't wait for the sub to mature. 6/23/2016 Recently stopped by to see if the team could do a project and was greeted immediately by Nick. Very professional, informative, and understanding of my needs. Asked if he could maybe take measurements the same day then checked with the owner if it was possible and got a yes. He then drove the vehicle to the back to be checked out by Pinder (owner) and was able to provide guidance on the build. Felt assured this is easily in the right hands and no qualms putting a down payment. Will update once all is finished. One star for poor customer experience before the staff even completed any work. I made an appointment to bring my vehicle in for a stereo install after making an initial DYI attempt. After several hours of not hearing back, I called and was told that I would have to make another appt two-weeks out and that it would cost me ~$360 for the install. I decided to take the $60 loss on the initial diagnosis fee and get a second opinion. Walked into another shop with no appt where the staff completed the install within three hours, charged on $150 including parts, and made every effort to make me comfortable while I waited. Hard to recommend any establishment that doesn't respect the customer's time and $, and loses customer trust in the process. read more

I had my tint, stereo and speakers installed through them. I had a few systems that were defective from manufactorer unfortunately. They worked with me, and had no problem switching them out and warranting them. The tint came out nicely. I would never go back there again to have work done since my car got totaled out because the company sub'd the work out to Auto Glass Solution ( the shop next door) to remove my back window to get the old tint off. However, when the glass company reinstalled the window it was not done right and flooded my car with the first rain of the year, which lead to totaling out my car due to mold and water damage. I brought this up to the owner of Audionutz and he offered nothing for compensations, accept to simply say"well at least you get a new car out of it". I never wanted a new car i liked the car i had that is why i invested the money into it in the first place. read more

This local business gave me POOR service! First red flag, Beatnuts Car Audio appears they do not keep many of their car stereos in stock. I had to order the car stereo I wanted to purchase then having to wait a week for the stereo to arrive. 2nd red flag: After the stereo arrived I was then told they could not get me in for another week to get the stereo installed. The day I planned to get the stereo installed I changed my mind with the stereo I picked so I decided to select a different stereo. To my surprise every stereo I inquired about Beatnuts did not have in stock appearing he wanted to stick me with that one he ordered for me or Beatnuts simply does not carry any stereos at their location and order everything upon demand. Every stereo I asked for the employee said they were out of stock. After he told me he was out of stock with my 4th pick I asked if I can go to another electronic store to purchase a stereo still wanting to give them my business by having them do the installation. I returned within an hour later with a car stereo. That same employee who was helping me tells me now tells me "We do not have time to install the stereo now." With that said, I became dishearten because I took off work and it was obvious he no long wanted my business since I did not purchase a stereo from him. I took my car and my business back to Best Buy. Best Buy had a lot of car stereos in stock and their prices were even better than Beatnuts. Best Buy took me in right away to do the installation. Shocking to hear Beatnuts no longer had time to do the work on my car because it only took Best Buy 45 minutes. I will continue to give Woodland's small businesses my business except for Beatnuts Car Audio! read more
