I have been taking my vehicles to Auto Magician for about 7 years now for occasional dings, accident repairs, paint corrections, having known this shop for so many years and the truly hard working people who make it what it is, you can trust me when I say there work is unmatched. There has not been one time the paint work these people do has not matched, it is always spot on (which is what I pay attention to the most and what so many other body shops fail to do) and repairs are done as if nothing ever happened at prices you will not find anywhere else. The work these guys do, you would spend 5 times as much at your other traditional dealership body or local repair shops. No matter when you go they are always working on very high end vehicles which shows people trust them and you can see it for yourself, they work on all vehicle types. This is a small shop that specializes in dings and scratches although they seem to do a lot more and they do it very well. Miguel Elguezabal, the owner, is very professional and friendly. I had a dent (bigger than just a ding) in my plastic bumper. The price he charged was less than half the estimate I got from a bigger, fancier place. He had the job finished earlier than promised and it looked great. I would definitely go back (I hope I don't have another dent) and will recommend Miguel to anyone and everyone. I had some pretty huge front collison damage from an accident a few months back, and I took my car into the shop expecting to pay around $2k-$3k as researched in relation to my actual accident. Miguel runs an estimate on the damage and was willing to repair my front collison damage for about several hundred dollars less than what most repair places would charge. I don't know how this shop has 4.6 stars because i would not recommended them to anyone. I gave Miguel two cars to repair both of the cars weren't repaired but ended up having missing parts and horrible body work. The first car i dropped off was a Mercedes E350 which needed minor body work. I brought all the parts he told me but only half of them were installed while the rest were still in the trunk. The hood never got aligned with the latches so it doesn't even close properly and when it does, it's never secured in the latches. The second car that i gave him was a Infiniti G35 which **only needed the bumper put back on but instead he ended up mis aligning the entire front end causing the hood to rub against the fender every time i open it. On top of that he never put the air duct nor the air intake back on my car. Both cars had poor body work done, screws holding fenders, custom made holes to save time on the frame pulling, mis-aligned hood/fenders, etc... I would not recommended this shop unless you inspect everything on the car before paying him like i should've done but my cousin had already paid him but the worst part was how he wanted more money just to look at what he did wrong when i had clear pictures of the terrible job he did. Regarding the parts, he told me he would look for them but never returned any of my calls afterwards. I don't know how "legitimate" the other reviews are but i would be very careful while dealing with them. My word of advice would be to "research them carefully" before relying on the other reviews or giving them your car. read more
