The menu is small with only a handful of options, but they clearly know what they do and do it WELL. I had the cheeseburger with fries (no bun), and MAN, that burger was cooked to perfection. So juicy, and the fries were perfectly golden with just the right amount of crunch. My husband got the tuna salad and made it a melt, this was actually his birthday wish, so we HAD to make the trip! He said it was one of the best tuna salads he's ever had. You know the food is good when both of us are sitting there silently eating. Both of our counter servers were so friendly and the service was great. If you're in the Kennebunkport area and have the time, Palace Diner is a MUST. Their menu is extensive & from what I've heard or seen that the food is down home delicious!! I'm hooked that they cook their own turkey. So for me it's Thanksgiving in January. My better half opted for pancakes, bacon & hash browns. Our waitress was spot on & very nice. The owners Cara & Mo are truly nice people. We will come back. My next meal will be a club sandwich.
