My 2011 Honda Ridgeline recently decided that my backup camera and remote start didn't want to cooperate. I made an apt with Auto Outfitters in Noblesville. Shortly after my appointment they called and said they fixed the remote start but the camera would need replaced. If I wanted to go that route. They ordered the camera for me. A couple of days later they replaced the camera. At no time did they try and up-sale me anything. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed like they cared about my business. Wish I could give them a better review. As my experience started out fine. A little back ground. In 2016 I purchased a used 2006 Cadillac with what I thought was a factory installed sunroof. After a few years it developed a leak. Decided to bite the bullet and get the glass replaced. After many moths of digging, found out it was a aftermarket sunroof not OEM. Further discovered there was a recall warranty issue and Auto outfitter was a local distributor. Filed claim with manufacturer. The company sent in the glass panel. Auto outfitters installed it, great or so I thought. This is where it goes south. I opened the sunroof one time after picking it up and heard a snap, as if something breaking. Took vehicle back to Auto Outfitter they looked at it and tried to make the repair by Glueing broken piece. The repair did not hold up. And parts would need to be ordered. Fine sounds like a plan. When I followed up with them about getting parts in and getting the sunroof fixed properly they essentially told me to go pound sand. I would need to contact GM to get parts or search junk yards for parts. When I explained it was a aftermarket install there response was we are no longer carrying that product and there is nothing we are going to do. REALLY. Poor customer service. I am In the customer service industry myself cannot imagine Telling a customer that. A few rules for customer service 1 customer is always right. 2 when customer is wrong, see rule 1. He who has the gold makes the rules. Last time I checked a customer has the gold. With out customers willing to part with their gold a service center ceases to exist. read more

I would love to give 5 stars however there was one thing I would like to note. I came in knowing I wanted an upgrade to my cars sound system, the person I spoke with on the phone recommended coming in and see what they have rather than helping over the phone. I completely understood so I came in and tried to explain what I was thinking for advice and to get a better idea of what to get. I had cash in hand ready to pay upon arrival the first person I spoke with was very dismissive and told me to go do research and look things up and come back when I actually knew what I wanted. If I knew exactly what I wanted and already knew everything then I wouldn't be coming to ask. He eventually brought out one of the techs. The entire experience changed once I began speaking with him. He was very helpful kind and knowledgeable. He helped me pick something out that he recommended. We got the parts ordered and they even got me in on a very busy day just to accommodate me. The same tech who helped me order did the install. They did an awesome job and I will definitely be back for future work. read more

Job: Install front and rear dash cams and a hard-wire constant-on power supply. Bit of a scheduling issue when I showed up at 11am as requested and was told "you're not on the schedule until 2pm". Had to leave the car. Second issue (had to bring it back) - always-on power shutoff for low battery was not set and they did not ask what setting I needed. Third issue - rear camera fell off the glass - I suspect because they did not properly prep the glass first. Installation was very well done - wires tucked nicely. Everything in the right place. Yes, I would use them again, but I would personally triple check everything. read more

i went here to get my windows tinted. i prefer dark tint so i paid their fee of $25 per window for 5%. i had no problems with their ceramic film. the installation total was $668 i paid that for a horrible application that i could have done in my garage. i was told that it was computer cut and he couldn't fix it, it would always have daylight pass through gaps either at the top or bottom. go somewhere else for tint. read more

I had an issue with my rear tailgate and they took the time to take things apart to figure out why it was not working. Once diagnosed, they fixed the issue and put things back together. I had a few minor issues with my Bestop Jeep soft top. They told me to bring it in to look at it. Daniel walked through the issues with me and helped me fix the minor issues in about 15 minutes. He referred me to bestop to get the parts I need. The Jeep dealership wanted $140 to do this but Daniel and auto outfitters did if for free. Will definitely bring my vehicle here in the future because I know they have good customer service! read more

Buyer Beware I didn't read the reviews beforehand - wish I would have. I would have saved myself some time. What one of the reviewers described concerning his tires being swapped out for less expensive, smaller ones, is totally believable. In my case, the store manager sent me a quote based on multiple calls we had to pick the right setup. I went in to pay the 50% deposit to get the tires ordered - the manager called his distributor with me standing there and he was obviously surprised by his cost. He gave the dsitributor a PO and was told the tires would be there in 2 days. He got off the phone and told me his quote to me was low but he would honor it anyway. Fast forward 4 days later - I called to see if the tires were in, different guy told me they were on the Fed Ex truck - he confirmed with the driver that they would be delivered that day. Fast forward 4pm later that day - I go in to see the tires and the guy said he hadn't seen Fed Ex yet. I go back in the next day and the guy tells me, get this "His distributor sent the tires COD and he didn't have any checks to pay for them," despite me hearing the manager give him a PO 5 days earlier. Who pays COD anymore in the digital age? I told the guy that was BS and to give me a refund which he did right away. in my case they just strung me along until I just sad "Screw it - I'm going to 4WP," which is what I should have done in the first place. This is a blessing in disguise - I would hate to be in a position of having to get something fixed after the fact... read more

I took my new 2014 (Yes it was new...off the lot) Dodge Rom in to Auto Outfitters. I had nerf bars and a new cover installed. When we got the truck home there was a scratch in the paint near the top of the fender/body right by the truck bed. My husband took it back and they denied doing the damage and left us hanging. They refuse to fix the scratch. That truck was perfect! It still smells new and I've never even hauled anything in the bed of the truck! We use our other truck for that. Very unhappy and will NEVER take anything there again. Think twice before letting them work on your vehicle. :-( read more

In this day and age, it has become hard to find businesses with integrity. These guys have it. When purchasing a new truck in 2008, I purchased a spray on bed-liner. The brand they were using then had some problems and you could start to see the bed's paint in areas. When I talked to Daniel about it, he got a hold of the owner and even though they had dropped that brand, they installed their new brand over my old one. Ok - now they have done 3 of my vehicles. They also replaced the worst radio on the planet with a Bluetooth/USB/Line in/CD/AM/FM stereo, put on a tonneau cover, rear wheel well liners and added power locks. Everything looks like factory (not the radio itself, but the install is flawless). They used my existing manual locks as the switches for my power locks so there was no cutting or drilling in the door panel. I highly recommend them and wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else to get accessories added. read more

They have a dust issue going on. Had the tint redone multiple times at the Anderson location, but was plagued with dirt and hair. After the third try, took it to the Noblesville location. While it is a lot better than before, there are still quite a few dirt spots on the windows. They do have excellent customer service though. Was always happy to help me get things resolved, but in the end, I'm just not happy with the tint job. read more
