You are also able to schedule your appointment online via their website. You will be required to pay a $20 deposit to book an appointment which is applied to your total bill. Going into the appointment, I had zero knowledge regarding tinting. I just knew the overall look I was going for and that I wanted my car to cool off faster. Dan explained everything to me to help me make the best decision. The "WOW" Box, which really makes you say wow, was a great example to show the impact of the various tints available. I wanted to wait a year or so to write a review to see if the tint really performed as stated and as I hoped for. I am happy to say I am more than impressed with the UltraNano IR98 film after a year. This is my first experience driving a car with tint other than the privacy tint that factories put in the rear of SUVs. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, and Dan patiently explained what the film would and wouldn't do when I stopped by his shop. For example, yes, the car is MUCH cooler to drive, but it won't really feel any cooler in there when getting inside after a day at work. I appreciated that he was upfront about what you could expect from the products. Once I decided to go all-in with the best product, I anxiously awaited install. The waiting area was quiet and pleasant for getting some work done or watching TV. When my car was returned to me, he explained how the bubbles I was seeing needed to dry and how to care for the product. A week later, I noticed a fold in the corner of the sunroof and one squiggle in a window still remained. Dan stood by his product and install and immediately offered to redo those two areas for me. The reason for four stars is that when I returned home for a close inspection the first day, I immediately noticed there was a scratch on my rear passenger-side door handle. My car had less than 300 miles on it at the time, and I knew no one had sat in the back seat or used the door, so 95% sure it happened during the tint install. I was pretty frustrated about it at the time. That first scratch on a new car. Admittedly, I didn't call the shop at the time because there was nothing that could have been done about it at that point. Now the sadness about the first blemish has worn away, and I can honestly say despite that, I will 100% get a next car tinted and use this shop. It is a great product and they are easy people to work with. I have recommended the shop and product to family, and my husband is itching for his employer to allow tint in a work vehicle for him to come in as well. Found DT after looking online for a bit and based my decision on reviews. I didn't know exactly what I wanted (percentage or film type) but Dan helped in the decision process with his cool bench setup and I went with a 35% nano-ceramic. This was 7 months ago and I (deliberately) waited to post this review to see how things would hold up. I am pleased to report the quality is outstanding. There are no bubbles or noticable deformations. There is something extremely minor on the driver side rear window but it only bothers me when my OCD is flaring up and only I (or Dan maybe) would notice it. Install was done within the timeframe specified and I had a nice walk on the Monon. In hindsight, I should have gone with 20% tint. 35% looks good but it could be darker. So why 4 stars? Well honestly, the cleanup afterwards. I don't know the precise chemicals used but there were serious amounts of haze and residue that I had to get rid of for a few weeks. Main carp is there was another car after mine and I don't know if it was a scheduling thing but cleanup felt rushed at the end. Dan offered to clean up but I really needed to get going. After 7 months this still just stuck with me...for what I spent it just feels the should be adequate time built in to finish. That said, zero complaints on the install quality...and ultimately that is what matters. Nice work Dan. read more

I scheduled an appointment while the office was on vacation. I got my car washed prior to showing up and accidentally got there a few minutes early. The door opened promptly at 9:30 and the staff was ready to help me 1 minute after they were open. I got a neat demo showing how different types of tint can protect the inside of the car from UV. He was very enthusiastic about it, talking about how the top end products block gamma and x-rays (the product's website doesn't state this). I got the point they were getting at though, the ceramic tint block lots of heat! He helped me understand Indy tint laws and how they are enforced. He helped me choose what level of tint would look and perform best on my car as well. He was friendly and answered all of my questions about the process. Their prices were middle of the road if you are going with the premium products like ceramic tint. After reading the review on yelp and google I decided to take a chance on DT because all the positive things people have said. A 2018 5-door Impreza with ~38% on the front and ~20% on everything else was $564 with the ultra nano ceramic tint option. The sunroof done with one step down from the ultra nano was included in this price. Xtreme Vehicle Designs - $450 without the sunroof. Darrings Detail - $475. DT Services - $564. ClearBraIndy - $800. Their installation time estimate was spot-on, 1.5 hours for a hatchback with 10 windows. When they brought the vehicle around I took a quick look around the car and noticed lots of water and bubbles between the tint and the windows. After I asked about it (he didn't offer any advice when he saw me looking at it with a bit of shock) he assured me it would dry/evaporate in a few days. Maybe he thought I already knew this? After getting home and doing more research I realized this was normal and not a sign of a bad install. I parked the car in the garage overnight at 60 degrees with the fan running and by the morning the vast majority of the bubbles were gone and the tint was looking very professional. I've tried looking for dirt or debris stuck between the window and the tint but haven't found any. Currently, from 2 feet away, the installation looks absolutely perfect. I'm sure after a week when all the pin sized bubbles around the smaller windows dry it will look perfect from 6 inches. They told me to return if anything wasn't up to my level of satisfaction and they would get it sorted out (once everything has completely dried). A few (very, very minor) things I noticed included the insides of the windows weren't clean after the installation, there was soapy residue on the glass from the squeegee. Another was the water on the inside trim around the doors and trunk. A simple pass of a shop towel would have cleared all these. up. Again, very minor problems I took care of myself. I did not notice any damage to the trim from their removal or reassembly. read more

Found DT online, saw they had a lot of great reviews and decided to look no further. Read that they were very prompt to respond to clients, so I decided to leave a voicemail at 10:00. Like most people who stated they got a fast respond, I did not and decided to call again at 13:00. Finally got someone to answer and asked if there was any possibility to be scheduled, which I was told they had nothing available for another 11 days. I am okay with that, if that is what I have to do for great service but I wanted to know if they would recommend anybody else since they are not able to work with me. I was laughed at and was pretty much told that he was not going to help me. To be honest, I was a bit nervous because I had used the same tint shop for the last 10 years but wanted something closer to home as I recently moved north of Indy.
