Today I had the BEST experience at Auto Perfection. My husband happened to find this place on Yelp last year and he chose it based on the five star rating and great reviews. He took his car in for a exterior VIP car wash and had only great things to say about his experience. I made an appointment about a week ago for my 2016 SUV's very first car detail. My main concern was that I felt the dash was looking dry so I chose the interior detailing package and added the VIP car wash which included a foam soap wash, tire degreasing, rim cleaning, ceramic detail sealant on the paint and vinyl trimmings and tire shine treatments. Not just your ordinary wash! I was SO AMAZED when I picked up my car. It was so shiny...I honestly think it looked better than when I first bought the car if that's possible! The dash looked brand new and the car was CLEAN! They must've found my empty sunglasses case hidden/lost somewhere because it was nicely placed in my center console which I know was empty because I took everything out of the car for the appointment. Decided to finally put tint on my car. Found Aloha Tint on Yelp and was able to schedule an appointment the next day. Went in about 30 min early to see if I could drop off my car while I take my kids to Kahala Mall (which makes his location so convenient) and Mike said no problem. Gave me the run down on the tint and told me he'll text me about 30 minutes before he's finish. Mike is a super chill dude and their work is A+++. Auto Perfection is amazing! I initially called with questions about ceramic coating. Evan spent a good 15-20 minutes answering all my questions. He was kind, thorough, and very patient. He took the time to answer all of my questions. Needless to say, after that conversation, I decided to get my car ceramic coated. Evan did a thorough job of inspecting my car when I dropped it off. I scheduled my appointment with Kaipo online. I received all my confirmation through text and reminders of our appointment which was nice. Upon my arrival to their shop, i met with Kaipo and his associate who were very friendly. Kaipo inspected my car and assured me he would take care of my car for me. I had my car for 5 years now and had a ton of water spots especially on my front windshield, and my rims were pretty messed up. Kaipo told me that he would text me about half hour before the car was to be done. Sure enough i got the text and made my way back to their shop to see that they did an amazing job. All the water spot were removed even the ones on my front windshield. They did a great job on my rims that were messed up making them look really nice. I only requested the exterior detail for $160 to see how well of a job they would do, to determine if i want to go back to them for my interior detail. My 2010 4dr, sedan was a complete & severe disaster. I had a 2pm appointment for interior package only. I needed some body work and a new paint job. (My car has low miles, only owner has been I and I wasn't financially ready to get the body/paint work done.) When I returned at 5:50pm, I could see they were still working on my car. This gentleman is truly amazing at what he does. My car is 7 years old and had never been detailed. I've also never parked it in a carport or garage. Needless to say, the island had taken a toll on the cosmetics of my car and a mysterious stain had appeared in the backseat. With very little information, Mike gave me an accurate and detailed quote to repair the damage. My car was ready right when he said it would be and I was shocked at how phenomenal it looked. Hands down the best car detailing place! My Cadillac Escalade was EXTREMELY dirty. I have a 2 year old that is always spilling her milk and juice in the car and throwing her snacks. I also let a lot of people borrow my car so it gets pretty messy. I had giant yellow, black and white scrapes on every angle of the car that they removed at no extra cost! They also washed my rugs which I didn't expect. Customer service is unbelievably good especially for Hawaii. They also noticed I had a little mirror issue and they told me how to fix without spending the hundreds of dollars a bunch of auto shops wanted to me to pay. Great great guys. My Subaru Forester has been off roading on the North Shore for the last year, crossing muddy rivers, driving on dirt and deep mud and carrying construction materials, rocks, soil, etc... scratches from trees, animals and farm gates..red dirt on my leather seats and embedded in every grove in the entire car. It's been driven through the car wash but never cleaned on the inside. I was embarrassed to even bring it to Mike! He told me upfront it would take him longer than the regular $159 service and he'd have to charge me $200. Best $200 I ever spent. My car is like all the wear and tear I've given it never happened...smells great, looks amazing, like brand new. He even got the red off my leather seats!!
