If you care about your vehicle, DO NOT TAKE IT TO AUTO PRO!! I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE IT TO AUTO PRO!! It is the absolute worst shop I have ever used in my lifetime. I had my car towed to them for one thing, only for them to inform me that I had a bevy of problems that I did not actually have before I took my vehicle to them. I just went ahead and let them "fix" my car, only for the same issue to happen immediately after I picked it up. I had my vehicle towed back to them. They had my vehicle for a week with no updates and I wanted them to take their time to really fix my vehicle this time around so I exercised patience. I finally called them, only to find out that my vehicle had been repaired but the owner, Mike, decided to drive it for a weekend to ensure that it had been "fixed." When I picked up my car, I noticed a half of tank of gas had been used and also it appeared that the owner had used my bluetooth to call someone. Completely unprofessional. Now let's get into the aftermath. I noticed immediately that when I would accelerate that my vehicle would hesitate and jerk a bit, which it was not doing before either but I didn't want to deal with the shop so I just let it go. Now, the same issue that was allegedly "fixed" before which had nothing to do with my acceleration, has now begun again. secretary told me they did a computer diagnostic and the motor was bad because the oil ran out. I had to ask them to physically look at it and they said it was still the same reason. they said the motor was beyond repair and it needed to be replaced- on the low end, $2000. I asked them to fill the oil and run more tests (something they should have done to start with) and they finally found the serpentine belt was broken and the compressor then quoted my husband $700 and when I called, $750. the secretary said the boss Mike quoted her the cost. spoke with Mike the boss and he said they couldn't have run a computer diagnostic because the car wouldn't start and that they'd never say it was the motor without other tests. also said the secretary was new and the price wasn't from him. so... someone was lying. got the car towed to another shop and the tow guy said he had towed at least 5 or 6 cars from this shop to another one because they weren't happy with Auto pro's service. Dealt with Mike and Joe, Mike was fairly pleasant to work with once I actually talked to him but Joe was a completely rude and disrespectful. They had me waiting in there very hot windowed lobby for about 3 hours for a simple battery!!! Ohhh but don't worry, they didn't charge me labor for a whole two bolts! My office is across the street from Auto Pro, I've taken my car there for tune ups and oil changes and Mike and his crew have always been great to work with. Today as I was getting ready to leave for lunch, my car wouldn't start. I thought maybe it was the battery and had a co-worker try and give me a jump but it still wouldn't start, so I walked across the street and asked Mike if he'd help me. He dropped what he was doing and came to my office to take a look. He tested the battery, cleaned the terminals and we tried to start it again but it still wouldn't work, so Mike went back across the street, grabbed two of his crew members and they assisted me with getting my car across the street to the garage, saving me the hassle of calling a tow truck. Within 10 minutes they had diagnosed the problem (bad starter) quoted me and amazingly fair price and promised to have my car repaired by morning. Mike and his team are top-notch and I am so grateful for their absolute willingness to help me. I have been going to Mike at Auto Pro for many years. This year, my car was shorting out when taking off from a light or stop sign. I took it in and Mike said no problem. He had been pestering me to get some other work done on my 18 year old car and I finally said okay to the extra repairs. He kept the car for 5 days. His mechanic ordered the wrong parts orignally, so that was extra time that they had to keep the car. Meanwhile, I'm racking up a large bill getting around on LYFT because he had my car for days on end. When I got it back, the orignal problem was not fixed - it was still shorting out. I took it back and he kept it again for another day. The problem was still not fixed. It became undrivable and unsafe to carry my grandkids around in. I finally ended up having to buy another car. I gave Mike the opportunity to make things right by refunding the money which he did not do; he just kept it like it was a bonus. He should have never done the extra repair work if he couldn't fix the original problem. I got a $500 tax credit for my car because I ended up donating it. My bill was $1533 on top of all the money I paid LYFT because he had the car for 6 days and still didn't fix it. The car was worked on always by Mike and his shop, so was kept in good working order I thought. Turns out, I often had to return the car to get "something adjusted" or "tighten something back up" that they had fixed. I still trusted him and still thought I was getting a good service. But after this happened, I guess Mike isn't as honest as I thought and he definitely cheated me out of $1500. Thanks Mike - I thought you were one of the good guys. read more

Let me start off with being referred to this business from a friend. My Toyota needed a new clutch so I took it to Mike. He gave me a quote and fixed it. I was talked into getting my oil changed while it was there so I had them change it. They noticed while they were in there that it had a leak and needed a new oil gasket. So I also had them fix that. I got the car back drove about 60 miles and it made a horrible noise and stopped. Well I pulled over and checked the oil. The dipstick was dry as a bone. They forgot to put in the 5 quarts of oil that they charged me for!!! Plus it made my engine seize. I was now out of a car. I called Mike and he claimed he put oil in my car. Then he proceeded to tell me that my car must be burning oil. He told me he wasn't going to take responsibility for the engine seizing. I had another mechanic look at the car and they found that the engine seized completely due to lack of oil. At this point I had to speak with an attorney to get Mike, the owner of Auto Pro, to do anything. I then sent him a letter from my attorney and threatened word of mouth about how awful he does business and his mechanic skills are. He then decided to take responsibility for what he had done to my engine. He took the car, had it in the shop for a good month. Complained about what he had to fix. Like it was my fault for them not putting oil in the engine. When I finally got the car back it never ran the same. He claimed to have put new parts in the engine from where it seized. But I had the mechanic, of whom I got the second opinion from, take a look at it and there were a lot of parts that he reused and never replaced. From my experience at Auto Pro, the man needs to be put out of business. He has lack of customer service skills and won't own up to the mistakes his shop makes. Especially a very expensive mistake as ruining an engine. I would NOT recommend anyone using his shop. Unless they want the same thing to happen to them. read more

Buyer beware!!! We took our 2006 Jetta in to be looked at and while Mike is a nice guy I don't think he understood the problem. We got the car back a few days later at no cost to us as no work was done. This is where everything went downhill. When we got the car back the battery didn't work or hold a charge, even though it was fine before we brought it in. Additionally the radio didn't work. So we took the car back and he said it wasn't anything that they did to the car that caused these new problems. He fixed the radio for free but had to replace the battery and charged us for something I could have done myself for a lot cheaper. We needed the car back for trip and so I just paid him so that we could take the car. A few hours into the trip we noticed our windshield wipers didn't work...in the middle of winter. When we got back he blamed the wipers that worked previously on another car part. To make a long story short $800 later we have our car back exactly the way it was when we took it to him with all the original problems. Be very clear and cautious with this repair shop! I will never return to this shop for car problems. read more
